I see. Well, accidents happens. lol
LittleBigPlanet PSP- I can die happy now.

MotorStorm Arctic Edge PSP- BigBig probably will make a swell game.

Assasin's Creed PSP- If this game is less repeative, it could be good. But Ubisoft + PSP has not been good so far.

Rock Band Unplugged PSP- If it's like Beats, and Amplitude it will be awesome.
See, I don't know how they are gonna do Rock Band the breakthrough music game without letting us down like On Tour did

Some minor game mechanics are different in Platinum, but these minor changes are actually signifacant. Hypnosis is going down to 60% accuracy, rendering Milotic practically useless (thank the Nannerpuss in the Skies). Shaymin Sky Form will be a real Flinch hax troll. And new moves will be added to the movepools of pokemon, including Togekiss and Zapdos with Heatwave (interesting type-coverage), Lucario with ThuderPunch and IcePunch (definitely will make him more common in Standard battle.) and Porygon-Z with Trick!! Can definitely see myself being caught in a stupid choice lock. Anyways, those are my 2 cents.

I quit DP when too many people hacked Pokémon, have they changed this? If so I might finally switch to it from Stadium 2. Although I gotta say <3 Stad 2. =D

From what I've gathered it's just an upgraded Amplitude (a much older, obscurish Harmonix game) with the Rockband name tossed onto it to sell units. However, Amplitude is an awesome, unloved PS2 game.

Pokesav: vain of Pikachao's life...
Anyways, now is the time to get back into it! Haven't heard official word of Shaymin - s or "Skymin" being banned or not. Still, Porygon Z - Trick! Choice Scarf Lock.Plot A few times, and sweep! OR Easy Trickroom Setup. Sweep with Machamp, lol.
So anyone else seen the Resident Evil 5 Elite Xbox? Turns out the 360 actually looks pretty hot in red...
Ssssooo, more rumors of another GTA and GoW on PSP. Seems Sony is pulling their carp together this year.

They won't make that much money anyways. Too many people already pirate PSP stuff. I'm glad to see they're trying though. God only knows what they were thinking when they released the raw data files for those PS1 games. What, did they just assume "oh, nobody will pirate this"?
It'll sell.

First God of War on PSP sold a bit lower then 2 Million. And the GTA PSP games are some of the highest selling games on the handheld.
*GROAN~*

I JUST got one of the little name puns in Dragon Quest 5.

There is this one guy is named "Dr. Agon"
And the 'plot twist' of this story portion is that he's a Dragon disguised as a human...

Hot

Can't wait to see the design.
Aaarggghhh.
I've fought (And subsequently failed against) the final boss of Dragon Quest 5 four times now.
I was doing pretty decent, but then I used Hocus Pocus (a random spell, it can revive any dead people, instantly fill everyones MP, morph people into fire breathing dragons that can't be controlled but do extra damage, etc) and it turned back time to the beginning of the battle. Needless to say, things didn't go so well the second time around.

That's obviously just a render, but I wouldn't be too surprised if the actual system is very similar to that design.
Yeah, saw that a while ago. If it is anything like that, it'll be great.
That design looks pretty slick but it looks like it would be akward and uncomfortable to hold....
Yeah that render takes the cake, its been around for a long time.

for discussions sake, do you think the screen should be touch sensitive? every time the psp2 comes up on forums i see posts begging for a touch screen..
I think it would make sense for them to implement even just basic touch technology but I don't think it would be a "pillar" of the new system's features if you know what I mean. For instance, the big sell of the DS is that it has a touch screen. I think a touch screen on the PSP would be one of the minor features that Sony wouldn't really trumpet.

But yeah I definitely think they should make the screen touch sensitive, otherwise they're closing the system off to a lot of interoperability with DS/iPhone ports.
It should be touch screen, that's where technology is going now. Soon most electronics devices will have touch technology. My LG phone even has touch and it's not that new....
It won't be touch screen. I can smell it.

This is likely a PSP 3500, a UMD-Drive less version of the PSP 3000 in the shape of the Sony Mylo (rumors have said that this thing's screen uses Sony's 3000 screen, which is not a touchscreen). Sony doesn't go announcing a buttload of great PSP titles, and promises even more if they're going to tell their existing userbase of 50 Million to carp off with a PSP 2.0 in the same year that features gameplay differences, a touchscreen is a gameplay difference, and would eliminate the ability of said game to be played on previous generations of the PSP, because they lack such feature.

I could see PSN titles featuring touchscreen but no way in hell will retail games have touchscreen. BTW: How will they sell games with a UMD drive? Easy, Memory Stick. All PSP models support memory stick. A shift from UMD to memory stick is smarter. Ship retailers games on memory sticks to keep them happy, just make sure to heavily DRM that carp. Sony has tried this out before with movies on Memory stick. This allows people without high speed internet, or a credit card to purchase games for the PSP, for others they can have the The PSP PSN store and direct downloads.

I could see them whoring the thing out with the camera (some games feature camera support from the ill-fated Go!Cam peripheral), and GPS. But for pricing sake I think they won't.
Is that for real? lol
Killer phone, dude.
My picture? It's of a real Sony device called the Mylo.
it looks interesting.

so anyone got halo wars?
While it a touch screen would be great, I don't think its necessary. cover-flow like scrolling would be so sweet, but i can live with out it.

a second analogue nub with shoulder buttons is most important imo.
