Which isn't too far from the truth, anyway.

It is very far from the truth, you should know that considering your love of RPGs.

Does Dude look like a person who plays a lot of medieval western RPGs?
I actually used to be that kind of guy, until Fable 2 and 3 came along and ruined my taste for that kind of games.

Now, I only trust Japan, for my RPGs. Even their worst RPGs are better than the horror that is Fable 3.
Hrm... I heard some Game Stop clerk complain about how bad Fable 3 was. Totally stopped me from buying it. Thank god, I was half way to the counter, too. Dropped that game QUICK. I just thought of something. Okay, Madden games were already pretty repetitive, but...if there's no guarantee of a season at all this year, what's the point of having Madden 12? Money grab, much? Anyway, I'M STILL NOT DONE WITH TALES OF PHANTASIA! That game is WAY too hard for me.
There are always sports games, even when the sport isn't played:

No NHL game was played on the ice for the season of 04/05.

It's crazy that only 1 of those NHL game franchises still exist today.
I am quite enraged, right now.

For some obscure reason, shipments of the game I pre-ordered like four months ago, Catherine, for the PS3, is being delayed a few days, while it was supposed to come out tomorrow. The clerk was so calm about it, too.

I blame that horrible, highly-paid-but-yet-very-very-lazy Post Canada. They were on strike, Harper makes a law forcing them back to work and, now, carp hit the fan. Idiots.
For retail locations the date they usually put, unless it's a big, big title is usually the day the company begins shipping the games to stores, rather than the day they arrive.
Maybe so, but I'm still childishly and pretty pointlessly mad.

Oh well, at least, I'll know for future reference. Speaking of future, the last episode of the Back to the Future game'll be out tomorrow night. That should occupy me.
(Jul. 25, 2011  8:25 PM)Dude Wrote: [ -> ]It actually doesn't have a lot of good RPGs. Tales of Vesperia is an undenial RPG classic, but pretty much all other exclusive 360 RPGs (Magna Carta 2, Infinite Undiscovery, The Last Remnant, Fable 2 and 3) aren't very good and only decent, at best, while others just suck like crazy.

Then again, the PS3 doesn't have that many "great" RPGs, either, so I'm not really sure what I'm complaining about.
I thought Infinite Undiscovery was pretty cool but I quit after I got to Etheral Queen(Final Final Boss), she killed me then one of my attacks landed on her a second later and killed her but it didn't count. I was pissed.

You should be trying out western rpgs like Mass Effect 2, Assassins Creed II, Dragon Age.

I was hellbent on not giving these types of games a chance (sticking to japanese/rpg) but yeah, eventually I gave them a go and they've become some of the best games I've ever played.

BTTF 4 only just released in Europe, only played episode 1 so far just starting on episode 2. It's amazing how much they've captured the feel of the movies.
Batman:Arkham City needs to hurry up and come out.
Oh, I did play some of them. The Assassin's Credd series is really awesome, but they never feel like..."my" kiind of RPGs. I guess I'm just a picky gamer ^^'

Also, Arkham City comes out in October. You're gonna wait some time, Shinn XD
i hope the pokemon grey hurrys up and also the new halo games
Whenever I start to like a girl I can't bring myself to play any video games.

I need a cure for this utter fail.
Will Halo's fanbase ever tone down on the purist attitudes and personalities?

Will any fanbase ever tone down on the purist attitudes and personalities? The answer is no. There is something in people that makes us divisive and fandom multiplies that trait to the umpteenth degree. It isn't just Halo, it's COD, Battlefield, and every other fanbase out there. FPS fanbases appear more pronounced, but all fanbases have the same attitude to the same extent.
Hey, look, another Namco Bandai teaser website!

http://www.bandaigames.channel.or.jp/list/newtitle/

ANOTHER teaser website! Again! God, man, the marketing guy for Namco Bandai sure loves those websites. What is this, the fourth, maybe fifth teaser site just this year? Is that all they can come up with?

Anyway, apparently, the Japanese stuff that's written over that really beautiful image of a lake under a stary sky means "I, who began to run, still was not aware" The music is also gorgeous and calm, though that's pretty common, for that company.

I'm curious to know what that is, this time.
Yes, a Flock of Seagulls game!

If they didn't already announce a Saint Seiya game, I'd say it would be!
Ugh, Im just so loving rumble fighter! Im an veteran. Been there since 07 Wink. But the thing is the metagame is really unbalnced. Its not balanced liek it used to be. I guess I have to use Moonlight Wolf and Dragon scroll again yo bring the game back lol.

Haha, unlikely XD

The Saint Seiya game was already announced on another teaser website, though, so this is something else.
Yes, I said that in my post, haha. In fact, I posted about the Saint Seiya game in this thread.
Oh! Sorry, I thought you implied that this website was for the Saint Seiya game and that, if that wasn't it, it would be the flock of seagulls game XD

My mistake, sorry ^^'

Weird that there aren't any timers on this one, though Uncertain

SEGA would never do that. As much as I love Sonic Adventure, and want a 3rd, SEGA hasn't shown anything saying they would do so. Sadly, it's a very unlikely game to happen. Unhappy

Why would you want it to have the same voices as the original? I can't stand the acting in that game... Uncertain Personally, I would vote for new voice actors. Joyful_2
I wonder who the hell first designed the Moggles, from Final Fantasy.

Naked little furred intelligent flying creatures with big noses and with little fur balls on their heads? Uncertain

Drug must be involved.
Twilight Requiem from FF6. Moogles rock, dude. Though I have no idea who's idea it was.
Speaking of Moogles, Final Fantasy Type-0 is pretty great based on the demo. Though the camera does take a bit of getting used to.
I felt like I needed to alert everyone that this is a real game:

I shall wear it with honour.
