Nope, unless you count using watching other vids to memorise the stages of the game cheating, but the game was really hard and I had to take breaks. Now I have a headache, I regret not taking an image because it was the heat of the moment.

What hard game do I try out next?

The NES one right? That's the one I actually beat first, my first hard game I beat. It's not as hard as the AVGN puts it as, as long as you can avoid the bombs, it's not as bad until level 6, I just get hit by barrels on purpose to knock me back, only this time, I knock myself to the right side and avoid bombs and spam the hell out of the Hyde stage. If only I recorded it so he would be proud of me Unhappy

Next goal may be Ghosts N Goblins! Mwahahaha!

Do Ninja Gaiden or Battletoads (The hardest game of all time, even harder than Dark Souls). They are both on NES.

Battletoads eh? I gotta figure out how to get out of Level 8 and hopefully make it through.

I played E.T. on an emulator, and it's really not that bad. I have 500+ Atari 2600 roms, (I didn't tried all yet) and this game is pretty good compared to some other games, especially some shooter game. The Atari 2600 have a huge collection of shooter games --'

E.T is not that bad to me either, Superman 64 is worse for me.

I wish people didn't condemn E.T Atari as the worst game ever when it's just that no-one knew how to play it, it's very simple and I did complete it at one point, I just got bored of it.

However, a game I cannot or at least cannot be bothered to beat is Bubsy 3D, that's my worst game personally.

It may be different on an emulator.

I actually played E.T. on my friends Atari, hes a vintage video game collector, we also played Battleturds, on the NES of course.

Yeah, Bubsy 3D is one of the worst, if not the worst game ever created in my opinion. But damn, there's so much horrible games in the world. Watch some videos of AVGN, or from JoueurDuGrenier (like the french version of AVGN, great youtuber) they show us all that horrible games that shouldn't exist. Every single games from Color Dream for example.

Well to be fair, Sonic 2006 nearly killed a GREAT franchise like Sonic. Whilst Bubsy 3D killed it's own franchise, the franchise was never that good anyways.

Ah, my second worst game tied with Cheetahmen II. I have actually beaten every game except for Micro Mike, which I only made to second level. I ain't going through that again, but I'll play it without completing them all.

BTW, can I ask you what you think the hardest game you beat was?

I'm not so much in NES now. I don't have enough money right now to start a collection, and I'm too lazy to find an emulator + roms. All my knowledge about NES games is theoric, I watch AVGN's videos, I check some review, youtube, stuffs like that. For now I only have 4 or 5 Game Boy games, but anyway, the old games are way better than the newer in my opinion, so soon or later I will start a collection, virtual or not. Any recommandations ? :p

Haha. I just read the first comment and then was like. I miss my gameboy color. It's hard to believe that we've come so far in so little time. It seems like last week we were playing 8 bit games. Now people are ruining their lives with photo realistic FPS games. Tongue_out

Anyway I got majoras mask 3d the day it came out. Love the game. But am I the only one who had twelve hours ( slowed down so approximately around twenty minutes at most) to beat gyorg. And the moon still pulverized termina. Also if the world is going to end how come link doesn't jusst leave termina. Uncertain

One more thing. The Legends of Zelda ( original) or Links Awakening. I can't decide which to use my club Nintendo coins on.

To save time, I just use a website which allows you to play from the getgo, it's most likely illegal although I never ran into any problems, but I usually stick to my actual console or use the Wii.

Is there a thread for "Hardest Games You Played"? As I couldn't find one.

EDIT: Also, I would like to point out the AVGN reviews are mostly for entertainment purposes and not to be informative, some of his "reviews" only scratch the surface, and some games are not bad just difficult.

Especially Lester The Unlikely, still, I find his episodes fun.
