That's what I thought too. It looks like a platformer, but we'll just have to wait and see. We haven't got much gameplay yet, so I wouldn't pass just yet.
I don't think it looks like a platformer, it looks like A Link to The Paper Mario. And I'm sure you guys'll like this game when it comes out, like every other Zelda title. Though it'll probably take some getting used to.

I suggest waiting it out, especially when those are the games you want for the platform ... I'd be very surprised if Nintendo doesn't cut the Wii U's price sometime this year.
I'm gonna buy it pretty immediately after I get the money, now it's only $12. Can't talk much because I'm on a school computer. That's why I'm not elaborating.
The Sims 4 was just announced!

I feel like it's really soon though.
I can't believe I bought a PS3 for Bleach: Soul Resurrección (Ignition) and I cannot stop playing this game. I'm surprised there was never any DLC for it and no talk of a sequel. I wish the story started at the very least in the beginning of the Soul Society arc with shikai Ichigo and continued to where the game ends. I also don't understand why Renji is not a playable character, he has more fights than Rukia and his fighting style would fit the game better than most characters chosen. I also wish the espada could fight in their normal states, but even with it's flaws I can't stop playing.
Xbox One!

WORST CONSOLE NAME IN THE WOOORLD!!!

I LOVED that game but I had to stop playing it. After I beat story and the missions, there's not much to do. Now if they added a Free Battle Mode, I wouldn't be able to put it down
Well, the Xbox One reveal took a hilarious turn for the worst.
Rightly so.

Seriously, that console is pretty terrible Oo

Pretty much all they did was add a Blu-Ray player -.-
AND make it impossible to sell a used game efficiently.

AND make it impossible to play a game you already played on one console on your friend's console or something.

AND makes the Kinect a REQUIRED PURCHASE, apparently!

AND Internet is required CONSTANTLY!!

Seriously, I don't see a SINGLE thing that's better about the Xbox One! What the hell!?

Here's a lil' vid summing up the whole reveal pretty well:
Also, regarding the audience who were actually there, it seems they were given a mask to put on for the rest of the world.

Nobody gave two damns about the Xbox One, in reality.
Frankly I don't give a damn about any of the next-gen systems. I'm happy with my 360, OUYA, and 3DS.
The Xbox ONE is an example of why we shouldn't be asking for PC and Console being exactly next to one another in terms of stats. EA are a bunch of corporate bullies that don't need to be chewing on Microsofts heart, they already suck the life out of PC gaming as it is.

Is that so? Seems the Microsoft staff was excited for it, at least...

Oh well, i'm glad to see the world is still somewhat sane, then Joyful_3
Yeah, the XBOX One is disappointing. I'll be getting the PS4 once there are some cooler games announced, and the OUYA next month, it seems pretty cool. I'm really excited for the OUYA because of the cool, casual games along with the N64 and SNES emulator on it.
I might make the OUYA a holiday purchase.... Wanna see where this thing goes for the rest of the year before buying it.

Here's a lil' vid summing up the whole reveal pretty well:
1. That's because no money from used games makes it back to the publishers at all. Gamestop is pocketing billions because of that.
2. Basically your friend has to buy the game and it is shared with all profiles on one Xbox
3. Who didn't expect this? Kinect 2.0 looks amazing anyway, so I don't mind. they really improved it's capabilities.
4. Misunderstanding, it isn't constantly required, You can play single player games offline, the system basically pings the internet to see if you are connected. Blame every single person who modded in COD because this is Microsoft's attempt to stop modders.
5. Literally every piece of hardware in the machine.
Not trying to rag on you, Dude, I just think you are overreacting.
Essentially this console is the anti-modder, anti-piracy, response from Microsoft meant to appeal to more than just gamers. I 'm not picking sides because console wars are the epitome of stupidity. The PS4 and Xbox One are more or less using the same hardware with different software.....
Don't be so quick to judge the Xbox One though, neither system is backwards compatible and there are rumors going around that Sony might be doing the same thing with used games that Xbox is, they just haven't announced it yet. Apparently the reveal intentionally left out games until E3. It makes sense in context, why announce 15 games when E3 is right around the corner?
Bottom Line.
Who cares about the look? PS3s and Xbox 360s are honestly ugly already, at least you know what the Xbox one looks like. Its a black box, if it looks like a VCR than so does the PS2 and NOBODY complains about that. It was a bad press release, oh well, it's happened in the past, it'll continue in the future. Don't judge a console based on rumors, the leading cause of all the misunderstandings with these next gen consoles. Wait until you see the machines in action before you declare them to be amazing or terrible.

The state of modern gaming honestly saddens me, and the gamers are as much of a problem as the corporations. I remember the pre-console wars days when you got a console and played it at home with friends, no HD, no Blu-Ray, no "PC Master Race", no online play, just you, 2-4 controllers, a split screen and fun. Now its just gamers at each other's throats because of differing opinions and nobody can agree to disagree because everybody has to be right.
I never really mind who has the tolerance, but at least tolerance is what gamers need to cling to.

A lot of things that should have been up front.... Really weren't. Of all the events, in due respect.....

1. Oh no. Poor Microsoft. I feel SO bad for them. You're kidding, right!?
2. ...Yeah, and THAT'S a problem!! It's stupid!
3. Nothing to say here, I don't really give a damn about the Kinect.
4. I shouldn't be punished, as the honest player, because of people who mod carp. They just come off as punishing the whole to punish a MINORITY. Y'know, tyranny!
5. Okay, I accept this point...

I still don't see anything good with this console, sorry. They're just being a bunch of cheap creeps who want more money because they're Microsoft. That's it.

The same is true about the other two companies.

Microsoft issued an official statement regarding to used game policy for Xbox One: "The ability to trade in and resell games is important to gamers and to Xbox. Xbox One is designed to support the trade in and resale of games. Reports about our policies for trade in and resale are inaccurate and incomplete. We will disclose more information in the near future." MCV UK reported that players would be able to trade in Xbox One games to retailers who have agreed to Microsoft's terms and conditions and have integrated Microsoft's cloud-based Azure pre-owned system in the store. When user trades in used games, the store will wipe the game from previous user's account, and the retailer can resell the game, Microsoft and the publish will receive a percentage cut of the sale. Follow the rumors on Xbox One's new trade-in policy for used games, GameStop's stock value has slided by 13% at one point, after Microsoft issued the official statement, GameStop shares were down 6.7%. Under the new business model, Microsoft and publishers will take a cut of used game sales, reducing revenue from retailers.
Xbox has never been my favorite console, it's either been Nintendo or PlayStation. And "Xbox One" sounds like a late April Fools Day prank, I'll just stick to a Wii U. On Friday I ordered Sonic Adventure DX and Psychonauts (Which I'm super-hyped for) and there was a sale so I got the GameBoy Advance Legend of Zelda remake for free, How'd I do?
If the graphics of Arkham Origins are as good in-game as they are in the trailer, I'll buy the game on graphics alone.

Hope they are, but I'm buying it either way. Arkum Asylum was awesome, and I'll also have to buy Arkum City as well.
