I am now officially awesome at Echochrome *chuffed face*
I was thinking about this on the bus yesterday.

Why have we not seen a mainline console Pokemon RPG yet? The argument is always, "well Pokemon is best suited for the portable format." I can see this being true at its release, but I can't see this argument holding much weight now. I'm not saying axe the portable Pokemon in favour of console mainlines, but really why not do both? Just allow integration between the Wii and the DS to allow for Pokemon to be transferred from the Wii to the DS for portable battles.

Pokemon evolving as a franchise? Who am I kidding.

I wouldn't mind a (decent) pokemon rpg for mainline consoles actually.
playing red/blue on stadium would not count

let's get some real HD pokemon battles
i have fell in love with tennis games.....
Stupid Though No.1: Pokémon for the Wii. Like Rescue Team and Explorers you play as a Pokémon (and can switch pokémon when you meet more). To attack other Pokémon you have to actually attack irl. Element attacks would involve charging using the remote and then usual attacks using yourself. Oh and you'd have to actually yell. As in, if you were a pikachu, when you used thunderbolt you have to yell piiiii-kaaaa-chuuuuuuuu! It wouldn't work unless you did. Stupid

But it would also have to have awesome graphics.....so like a cross between a Wii and a PS3 game? I'm making up consoles now....XD
have some traditional pokemon rpg elements (type advantage/disadvantage system, IV/EV [adjustable, however]) and make it like dragonball z budokai or burst limit and i will be a happy camper

but rescue team, explorers and mystery dungeon versions of the games were terrabad, so it just wouldn't work as an RPG, besides you can play as pikachu on super smash bros brawl.

It would be fun if they recreated pokemon silver or something in 3-d to play on the Wii, but that's just my opinion, to me, that generation was epic.
ya i wish if they made a pokemon 3d rpg game, with no turn based battles,if u can press a button (a) for example to make the trainer say (dodge now!)and the pokemon dodges, and each one of the (U,D,L,R)buttons are for attack, like u press (right) and then the trainer says attack and the pokemon uses tackle ,and u can throw pokeballs with the wiimote...
I'd love the sound of a Pokemon RPG similar to the handhelds on the Wii.

Maybe the one on the Wii could be like the handheld one, except that you can go to all of the regions. I'd buy it.
i wont buy it if it wasnt 3d!
so guys wut to get next for my 360,i have a fps(halo 3) and a racing game(MNCLA) and am tinking about assassins creed or fable 2,or do i get gears of war 2?,whats better?and any other suggestions?
All three of those games you're thinking about getting are great.
what do u prefer?
BTW roan wut do u mean with beyjihad?
Well all three games are good but if you were going to pick one out of them I'd have to say Gears of War 2 as it will last you the longest. Fable 2 and Assassin's Creed are both great but they're pretty short and there's nothing to keep you coming back once you finish the story mode. Gears 2's multiplayer is pretty addictive, the single player campaign is great, plus there's co-op and Horde mode, so I think Gears 2 is a better value.

And about the Beyjihad thing, its an inside joke. lol

Aware. I just want an excuse to pretend to be a Pokémon. Like when we were little. XD
Everyone played the Pokémon game when they were little right? Gasp
yes Unsmith
Augh god damn it.

My PS3's controller had sticky buttons so I opened it up to try and fix it and I ended up carp destroying the controller altogether. So yeah, now I don't have one at all, which means I get to go spend $55+ on another carp controller.

Which brings me to my next point: Why on Earth are controllers so carp expensive? It only costs MS roughly $10 to make their wireless controller for the 360 and yet they turn around and sell it for $50+. Its carp retarded and augh I am in such a carp mood right now.

What I love even more than this is how I spend extra money on two wireless controllers and both get carp up beyond the point of usage

Seriously, why the hell do they need to charge that much on a controller? You bought the system, you bought the games, what more do they want?*

*rhetorical stupid question, they want money god dammit
every console should come with two free controllers
man i only have one regular wireless 360 controller

out of the three controllers i have, one is a racing wheel and another is something for ace combat (i've used the AC6 controller with Halo 3 and holy carp that was hard)

it doesn't help that new they are around 50 and used at gamestop it's not much cheaper
i heared a lot about ps3 and 360 controllers stop working or get stuck...but i never heared about a wii controller getting stuck or anything, the qality of the wii motes are great,i once throw my wiimote by mistake while i was standing, and then i played and it was as good as new, while my 360 controller one day fell on a carpet and i was sitting not standing and the analog stick got damaged and my car in MNCLA started going right on its own!!!but the next day the controller worked fine (thank god).
