difference is, is that the gotham knight shorts didn't really contribute to any real quality batman universe such as the animated series-verse where as this is adding to the overall lore and cannon of halo (with the exception of toei animation's short that's going to be satirical).and frankie has hinted at possibly seeing book characters visually for the first time :3 :3 :3

very carp cool

(forerunners? humans? tusken raiders?)

(an elite wearing attire very similar that of samurai, perhaps exploration of the elites, their planet, their history?)

Still buying way to many games, just got a game on the PS1 known as Team buddies if anyone has heard of it and it is such a class game. Smile

the music game genre is going to die and i will not miss it
guitar Hero 2 was fun for me.

Got bored of them all after. The DS version killed some time for about a week.

They are however beating this genre to death.
I love Rock Band but I can't wait for the oversaturation of the music game market to end. Leave it to Activision to kill another genre...
Activision is some how worse then EA durring its time as the largest third party publisher.
Activision managed to make me like EA. I used to hate them but now it seems the two have switched places.
One of my friends got me Dead Space for my birthday, which was totally unexpected =) I haven't played it for very long, but carp, it's freaking creepy, atmosphere and all. Also looks carp sweet, especially now that I also got the HDMI AV cable. HD looks so much better, more clean and fluid than the normal quality of my LCD (which was crappy compared to my old tube tv).

Spent most of my birthday playing Halo 3 split screen custom games. Did mostly King of the Hill variants on Barrel Blaster and Albatross Hill, along with Infection (kicked carp in it lol) and some Sandbox racing tracks. Albatross Hill was crazy. The hill is high up in the air between both man cannons and we kept bumping into each other, both teammates and foes, which led to a lot of suicide/betrayals/random Guardian kills lol The constant deaths by splatter up top in Barrel Blaster were pretty crazy as well.
Haha I've been playing Halo alot recently, too. I can never find any decent custom games (maybe it's cause I have no friends lol) but I've been playing a lot of Lone Wolves.
I just wrapped up getting all the campaign achievements, which ended up being relatively easy. I'm aiming for the vidmaster achievements now..trying to get the general rank at the moment.

I'm going to probably try the annual achievement when I can get one or two other people.
I know how to avoid most of the fighting in the beginning of the game, sort of an exploit, and the end wouldn't be too bad if we know what we're doing.

:]

Oh and I heard next week is the living dead playlist? Too bad I'll be in BC, I've only played like 2 zombie games in my life.

oh shi

Post-apocolisney
I want to play Turtles In Time Reshelled so badly. Damn MS timed exclusive (for a Downloadable game too, what the heck), damn less then great internet, and damn router I've been too lazy to fix.
I'm really really tempted to import a Classic Controller Pro. Its out now on import shops.

The main reason I use my Wii (Well, pretty much the only reason) is for WiiWare and Virtual Console stuff. And I use my Classic controller a LOT.

From the impressions I've read, it's 100% worth purchasing. it has a really comfortable grip and the analog sticks are further apart (on the regular CC, they're really close, your thumbs end up hitting each other in the midst of heavy gameplay) and the shoulder buttons are now rearranged so they aren't so awkwardly placed.

The thing sounds great, I use my CC a lot, so I'm sure the Pro would be worth it. I'm just hung up on throwing down $40 for it.
nintendo should switch to concave analog sticks, my fingers always slip off of them
oh carp are they like those ps2 sticks? ugh
They should also switch to traditional controllers. If theirs a way to keep motion control with it, fine. But those odd shapes going since the N64 (GCN was okay as far as shape goes, but the buttons were weird) are going to be the death of some gamers.
It sounds odd given the success of DualShock and its many incarnations, but I find the analog sticks really difficult to use because of their positioning.

I find the GCN's far more natural. I honestly really liked the GCN controller; really comfortable.
I agree with that except for the alien abxy setup that was great, but murdered multiconsole titles on it. Since the 64, nintendo has been wandering so far from the competition, that games are starting to get 2 development teams- xbox plus ps team and a wii team.
It also helps that the Wii is a lot weaker of a console to develop for then the other two. It also helps that the control inputs are entirely different then the other two. Most big studios don't put their A team on Wii development.
Anyone else have troubles with cousin collecting in the first Katamari game? I've been trying to collect the cousins that I'm missing tonight, and when I roll them they don't show up after on the King's hand or on the character select mushroom. Unhappy
