i laughed.
to be fair, he's objectively correct in stating the PS3 has better hardware
I was talking about the cod part of his post mainly. Best cod game produced is mw2 (even though most cod4 fanboys are living in denial), and even that wasn't really all that great. cod5 was horrible.

(i have all the cod games too so i'm not biased. also fifa 2010 is the best game ever, i own it so i'm not biased)
Have any of you ever played Ultimate Alliance 2 that game is pretty good. I like the wii version. :p
Whatever, I think all of the Call of Duty games are horribly overrated.

But I've played and/or owned them all since COD2, so I'm not biased, right?

Agreed! I own MW2 and although it's fun, I hate hearing people say it is more realistic than Halo and is therefore better. I don't see any difference in how realistic the games are. Sure Halo has you as a supersoldier fighting aliens, but MW2 has ridiculously powerful robots, a mythical heartbeat sensor, and let's not forget the ability to fire a Barett M82A1 while standing. It is the most overrated franchise I can think of, especially with the fact there is basically a game for every year since it started. They should have spent more time on some of their games like World at War instead of tryng to make as much money as possible.

Link was originally going to be a fighter in the original's Wii version, which I thought was recycling ideas because as cool as that idea was, They did the same thing for the GameCube version of Soulcaliber II.
This just isn't fair!

The Xbox version of MegaMan Anniversary Collection had the first episode of MegaMan NT Warrior, when the Gamecube version had some stupid G4 interview. I forgot what the PS2 version had instead of those...

And they swapped the buttons! A is now shoot, and B is jump. And on the GCN version, Y is for rapid fire, which wasn't even a button in 1-6. On the Xbox version, you could set the buttons, but on the GCN version, your stuck with the big green thing as the fire button and the tiny little button as jump.
The Wii is part of what's wrong with the video game industry.

I'm not biased. I own a Wii.

I agree. I used to own a Wii so I'm not biased.
stop saying "i'm not biased" you idiots
God of War: Ghosts of Sparta seems interesting. It's treading the same period of time that God of War: Betrayal did, and is on a dying platform...

Damn right, just bought it myself, love the new penalty system.

Horribly enough I would consider re-buying a PSP just to play this game. I loved the hell out of Chains of Olympus, and this is being made by the same team, so I have pretty high hopes for it. I'm also a mega-loser GoW fanboy so I suppose that makes me a little biased. (I'M NOT SAYING THAT TO ADD ON TO THE MEME GOING IN THIS THREAD BTW I REALLY MEAN IT)
Ready At Dawn is a pretty solid team, everything they've put out (which is admitedly only Daxter, God of War: Chains of Olympus, and Okami) has been solid, so I have faith that they can pull it off. Heck, they're addressing my only real complaint with CoO, the length. GoS is apparently longer.
My friend ordered a FC 16 Go, a portable SNES which has AV cables to connect to a TV and two wireless controllers. It hasn't come yet, but the games have. Super Mario World and Super Mario All-Stars came Monday, and Toy Story came Wednesday, so he thinks the FC will come Friday.

And I know what you're thinking: "Toy Story? Why would you get that?". But Toy Story for the SNES, Genesis, Game Boy, and Windows '95 is a great game.

But there's a problem with them. All-Stars and Toy Story look like the attached Earthworm Jim pic, where SMW looks like the SMW pic. Will one of them not play?
I didn't know a super famicom was the japanese version of a snes until recently..and nice i have never seen one of those before though i have seen a portable sega genesis
LBP2 is sounding pretty amazing. MediaMolecule is talking about being able to create RPGs, Shooters (ugh), and Racers in the game. All DLC from the previous game can be transfered to LBP2. Most importantly, it seems we'll be able to change the way Sackboy jumps in the second one so that he isn't so floaty anymore.
Ugh. Read an article talking about Nintendo believing that Apple is a threat of the future for them. I threw up a little when I read that.

Getting my carp absolutely handed to me at SSFIV...
Only characters I've used so far have been Ryu and Cammy, furthest I've made it with Ryu on normal mode is the Rival Fight with Ken Unhappy
Fifa World Cup 2010 is sooooo good Smile You can play a online world cup with full group stages!! amazing Smile

I played a online worldcup today, I was Norway (3/5 star team) and got grouped with Argentina (5/5 star team), Cameroon (4/5 star team) and Mexico (4/5 star team). I lost to cameroon, beat Argentina and was on my way to beating mexico (there was like one minute left of the game, I was 1-0 up) and my internet disconnects and i get a Auto-loss Unhappy so I ended up 3rd in the group (would have been 1st if my internet hadn't disconnected). Felt really bitter lol. But I'm gonna try again later today once I finish making some notes for the exam I have on monday.

Awesome sauce.

I loved Assassin's Creed 1 and 2 so much, but I'm really worried that Ubisoft is starting to run the franchise into the ground.

This Brotherhood game just sounds like a cash-in on the franchise's name to me. They're recycling environments (Rome) and characters (Ezio) from AC2 and throwing in a multiplayer mode, and let's be honest -- who really wanted multiplayer in Assassin's Creed? I sure as hell didn't.

Hopefully the story in the single player is as strong as it's been in the past two games. As long as it fits in the overall timeline of the series and doesn't feel like rushed garbage, I'll probably be happy with it. But again, I'm really worried this isn't going to be the case. Originally I was horrified because I thought this game was going to be multiplayer only, and dear God... I'm glad I was wrong. lol
Wiiwaa. Hahahahaha, what is this? Oh man, 8 year old me would've cried for this like no tomorrow. It's a cool idea.
