What the hell Sony, that better not be true.

I've stated my whole DNS server error with my brother's router a few times here. And my parents went el-cheapo in regards to my PC's internet connection.

Yeah I saw that earlier. That's a very carp move.

BTW- I checked how long it would take to download 900MB worth of Data (which Patapon 2 apparently is) it's something like 2 weeks. Yeah, I can't do that.

where have youve been? 1960?
It was a joke. And that post is over a year old. :\

hey man mind posting your brothers Router model?? I have wireless too but drop outs are rare, but we use a $20 trendnet router which I am actually surprised how reliable it has been..

I think its pretty sweet test of theory.

borrow your psp to one of your friends who have a high speed connection?
So I was planning to play some Halo 3 this week, seeing as I have the whole week off..

But I bought Fallout 3 and have been playing that non-stop.

I'm not sure of the exact model type. But it's also a Trendnet router.

I hope it's an idea that doesn't take off. I'd rather have Sony sell pre-installed games on Memory Sticks that have been coded to allow for saves then for them to go download only. Even if I have to do what SK said (which will likely happen since the exchange rate isn't good enough for me to want to import the foriegn releases that are in English) I'll still have to buy a rather large memory card. Even with only Beats, and EchoChrome on the 4GB card I have only 200MB left thanks to vast amounts of Save Data, Music, and Videos.

Also, according to CAG, we should start seeing $20, and $50 PSN cards at EB Games in May.

I'm confused as to why this is supposed to be a good idea.

=) Don't rush the main storyline though. Explore!

Anyone got the Mythic Map Pack for Halo 3 here? I got it, along with a friend and we've been playing on Team Mythic mostly.
Aesthetically, both Assembly and Orbital look great and Sandbox is a pure forging paradise. Gameplay wise, I seem to do best in default Sandbox (almost had the Perfection achievement on a match, went 13-0), while most matches in Orbital and Assembly don't go so well. There's a lot of grenade spamming on Orbital and I keep getting screwed with the spawns on Assembly. I guess the biggest problem is that I'm mostly getting matched up against Colonels/Brigadiers/Generals/alts, who I obviously can't compete with (my highest skill is 24)...

Loved getting the Sandbox skull though, haha, just wait until you guys find it.

PS: SWAT Tundra sucks carp

lmao

So why does Bob and his game want to be published on a Nintendo platform again? After his stunts, there is no way he's getting more then Download-Only.
I think there were some new updates and we found out it was actually a set up to get publicity?

Bobsgame.com Wrote:"bobsgame.com" is an alternate reality game which creates a real-life parallel to the events inside
the DS game called "bob's game,"

He never actually expected the game to be published by Nintendo.

Mannn I saw your gamer score for fallout, you must be a big fan =)

I'm taking my time hahaha. Probably 20 hours in and I just arrived at Rivet City.
I wasn't planning to go but I had 3 seperate quests that all led me to it, so why not.
I'd talk about my build but honestly I think I should just experience the game first. I think the fun part will be replaying it with tweaked skills.

I sort of don't understand repairing though. I have 70 repair and yet I've never fixed anything. There's been a few construction tables I've come across, which I assume let you make weapons - but it says I don't know how to build yet..and I'm not sure how to fix or maintain the guns on hand, either.

Edit: and I'd love to play the map pack with you, sadly I probably won't get it until summer.
But I really do want to play with you again, now that I have a mic too. Last summer was really fun..I just haven't had time to play Xbox in awhile.

I was introduced to Fallout by a friend. I knew nothing about the previous games when I started 3, but quickly fell in love with it. Right now, I'm waiting for the Broken Steel DLC to finish the last quest (only achievement I have left atm), but on my main save file I'm still at the "Finding the Garden of Eden" quest (both Operation: Anchorage and The Pitt completed). I just couldn't help to explore further.
Rivet City is about the best place to buy weapons and ammo once you get to a higher level. There's a bunch of stuff to do there as well.
I don't know if it's fixed, but I heard over-exploring at the start, could end up breaking some quests, so you couldn't get the achievement or just completely bypass a main quest. Still, explore what you can around Megaton, nearby places like Springvale School, Fairfax Ruins, etc. Doing Moira's quests helps a lot too.

I had the same problem at the start until my friend told me lol Weapons and armor can be repaired if you have at least 2 of the same type. Like, you got 2 Hunting Rifles, you use one to repair the other, increasing its condition (and losing that rifle). The tables are used to create weapons, which you'll need to find the schematics for first, before being able to build them. All of them are made from various junk/items found across the wasteland.

Maybe this Friday or later on Saturday, we could play =) Going into matchmaking alone kinda sucks now. Still looking to get that Annual achievement too.
hahaha wow, thats pretty cool..and easy. All my weapons are in great condition now.
As for exploring, I just read today about how people have a lot of problems for messing up their main quest.
Someone went to Rivet city before Megaton and had to restart, lol..

But I've just been sticking to questing now. I finished up most of the quests in Rivet city, and finished up Moira's book aswell. I actually came across Pinkerton in a really strange way.. I was exploring the top of the ship when I stepped on a piece of metal that apparently was not programmed well, and fell off the ship into the water. I decided to take a quick peak around the broken hull seeing as I was in the water..found a passage underwater..and eventually ran into him. Smile

As for this weekend, might be tough. But if I get on, i'll check to see if your up for some Halo Smile
