Wow.
It's almost embarassing looking through this list, I own or have owned SO many of the games on there.
Also, according to that list, I've never owned a game that got below 60%

(I am probably the biggest DS fan on this board, I love the DS to death and I think it's one of the most versatile systems you can own, Pretty much every genre of game is accounted for in some way)

It is by far the most productive zombie killing game.
I didn't see very many games on that list that I've liked or am interested in getting. Of course there are still good games on the system, just not nearly as many as I was hoping for. So many of the games are short, easy, or unoriginal (sequals such as PH or the pokemon games for instance, though they weren't too bad and had there perks), or even a combination of those. I've searched through every game released so far and made a list of under 10 games I don't own (I own 4) that I was interested in playing. :\

I do have to say that I was happy that The World Ends With You was released because it was a breath of fresh air, as well as the new Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days. That being said, the system still has a few years left and I wouldn't be surprised at all if many good games come out in the last year or two of the system's life.

Also, are there really that many older players to justify remaking the DS again? (well, apparently so) There could be, but its hard for me to believe.

You CAN'T be serious. I find it incredibly hard to believe that out of EVERY game released on DS, you are interested in FOURTEEN games.

Do you hate fun?

ok, seriously, enough

if you can't find anything to play on the DS then you're incredibly picky -- actually, picky isn't the right word because it implies you're looking for quality, so i'll use the word ignorant instead -- and shouldn't have bought one or even be discussing it to begin with. there are dozens, dozens of fantastic AAA titles for the DS

i don't buy DS games mostly because i don't have time to play them, but also because there are so many i want that i seriously don't even know where to begin. if you can't find anything to play on the DS, you are in a very, VERY small minority of people and there is actually something wrong with you, so don't say "i wish there were more good/original games for it" when what you really mean is "i wish more developers would appeal to my bizarre neuroses"

/annihilated
like seriously this isn't even the subjective 360 vs ps3 carp, this is a guy who is seriously complaining that the ds has too few games worth playing

this is literally the dumbest thing i've ever heard in regards to the video game industry
Pich, you mean you can't find a game in the total of over 4000 games in DS that actually interests you? COME ON!!!
The DS has a huge library of good stuff, no doubt, but upcomming games, are, atleast for me, incredibly weak. Outside of Heart Gold, Medabots DS, Dragon Quest IX, that Ghilbi x Level 5 game and Okamiden (the later three I suspect will be 2011 titles in North America) there is very little that remotely interests me. Then again, the only platform that's has an amazing upcomming lineup is the PSP. Yet those sales figures I posted a couple of days back show that maybe it wasn't that smart of an idea.
outside of these five great games i cant think of anything Q__Q

708 games Chocked_2 and to think I only have three but at least those three games can even last a long time especially 42-all time classics, I could play that for as long as I have played FFX or KH games put together.

So I don't see how anyone can say there are not that many worth playing games.

The quality of Medabots DS will definitely be called into question. That is if Natsume doesn't get a decent character artist for it, because as it stands, the character designs are horrible. I'm also not digging the bad 3D models it has.

5 games from 2009-2011 isn't exactly huge, when I have literally a list of upcoming titles from that other handheld, and it's big brother. Although I'm sure something I'm interested in will be announced during that time.

Although that doesn't really compare to the 360, or Wii, where I can see myself buying very little in the next while. The PS3, only marginally better.

606 of which scored a 50 or higher, so saying that there are no high quality games on the DS is quite honestly one of the most incorrect things I've ever heard.

I understand that quality is a subjective measurement, but come on... If you can't find at least 5 games you like on the DS then you really aren't trying hard enough!
To i'm pretty sure lots of games are going to be released 2010-2011 that we don't know about yet
So for some reason, my friend gave me a stack of magazines he didn't want. I don't exactly know why I accepted them, since most will end up in the recycling bin, but in a issue of Anime Insider published as an April 09 issue (I believe it was the last one too, lol) it ranked video game platforms in terms of what would be good for the anime fan, they ranked them as this:

Nintendo DS 5/5
Nintendo Wii 3/5
Xbox 360 4/5
Xbox 3/5
PlayStation 3 2/5
PSP 2/5
PlayStation 2 3/5

I can see why this magazine was discontinued.

Now I am really impressed, I had no idea the DS went to be that good, it's done much better than what the Wii has done anyway. I also know that the most problem is that people see it to not be that powerful for the graphics but if people really do just go for graphics then they aren't gamers in my eyes, the key things are storyline and game play it'self, of course really bad graphics doesn't help.
Holy carp this magazine is horrible, a description of Retro Game Challenge is word for word the exact same as their description for Little King's Story. The only thing those two share in common is their US publisher.
Beat Front Mission 4 (throws confetti!) but I missed out on some special parts and things so I'm going to play it again. New Game+ ftw.
I picked up "Nostalgia" for the DS today.
It's gotten fairly mixed reviews, But often about the same point. It's basically a throwback to 16-Bit RPGs, with RPG cliches and such.
Some reviews say its mediocre, some say its really good, I decided it was worth a shot, I'll get around to playing it after 358 Days.

And I just finished up A Boy and His Blob with 100% completion.
Man, that game has wonderful levels, but aggravatingly awful bosses (That mostly rely on twitch reflexes + trial and error)
Well, except the final boss, which was actually really fun.
Just want to point this out, Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier will be released on Tuesday for the PSP and PS2 in North America. Releases in other territories are later this month. PSP owners can download a demo off of the PlayStation Network. There was also a new demo released for Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, currently Japanese-only, but Konami confirmed a US release of the demo to be coming soon.
I'll drop my argument. I'm probably just too picky, so whatever.

EDIT: Just got Mirror's Edge (and for only 15$) and I gotta say, I love it. So far, it's one of the best games I've ever played. Interesting story, unique graphics and gameplay, and too hard (cuz I suck at FPS).
I have no idea if anybody on this site is a megaman fan Oo well theres supose to be a megaman: battle network+starforce cross over in japan on 11-16(?)-09. hopefully we will get it soon. you get fight with megaman and hopefully fight him too X)

No, that's just because of the shoddy controls. That's what killed the game for me. And the e-surance cutscenes.
