To be more specific Roan, there are (currently planned) FOUR Dragon Quest games on DS.

DQ4 (Chapters of the Chosen) has been released in all regions.
DQ5 (Hand of the Heavenly Bride) has been released in Japan, out in NA in about 9 days.
DQ6 (Realms of Reverie) hasn't come out in any region.
DQ9 (Defenders of the Starry Sky) is coming out next month in Japan.

Damn, I knew there were some in the pipeline but I didn't realize any of the mainline games had been released already.

anyway they did A LOT right in the first game, despite leaving in some flaws.

The time limit, the carp retarded save system, the clunky carp controls....

If they rectify all of that, and bring back Frank West (carp this new character he looks stupid. Frank was hot bring him back), then I'm on board for the sequel because despite the carp that sucked in the first game, it was still incredibly fun to just screw around with the zombies.

Anyone play that new Afro Samurai? I'm thinkin about checking it out, but I don't wanna grab it if I'm just gonna be disappointed in it.

It looks cool, but I don't see it as being worth full price.

Sky Bubble came as a surprise. Nice addition. The shots kinda remind me of SSBB custom maps floating in the air though lol Should be fun for custom games, etc, but I don't know if you'll even be able to access it during normal Matchmaking games.


bugturtles, i only woke up at 11h30am today I imagine the clusterfuck it would be in those maps if we had had more people playing lol We need to do some matchmaking next time as well.
Sometimes I start hearing the sound coming from my tv instead of the mic, weird.

I'm loving SoulCaliber IV right now, though, I hate how everyone has to take all these games so seriously on online and ruin it for anyone that just plays video games for fun. My favorite character is Siegfred,used to be Nightmare but they gave him new moves and gave Siegfred his old ones)

The save system pissed me off, but the time limit never really bothered me as much as it did a lot of people..

I'll probably check out DR2.. the Fortune City concept seems pretty cool. Dunno about the new character, but Frank was probably too busy covering a war somewhere to make a sequel.

Well, first me and now my friend has his Elite die on him =/ He borrowed me Gears of War 2 though, so I can play through it while his 360 gets fixed. If anyone wants to do some Campaign or Horde, hit me up. I can do online multiplayer too, but I'm guaranteed to suck balls in it.

yeah I always assumed God of War 2 was gonna be out on PS3, but number 3 is gonna be good.

So when I use my 360 with my new hdtv, I get this annoying lag effect. Its more noticeable on stuff like Guitar Hero than anything.. Anyone know if using an HDMI cable instead of the regular AV cables will get rid of this damn lag?

I've never had a problem with it, google your monitor and see if there are any problems with it and HD gaming. Also, with guitar hero you can calibrate the lag time in the options

I've read around that some hdtvs have av lag, but some don't. And the guitar hero thing never works perfectly, it's always still off one way or the other lol

Guys, you have psn, buy flower. its pretty rad and hard to describe how so. some impressive visuals, but the flying is really good, espcially if you sorta get [in tha] "zoned". i hope it sells well.

also picked up beats for PSP. its a great little game based on whatever music you have on your memory stick. timed button presses, nothing new, but fun. plus thers is a sweet jamming/loop machine on the fly application, I was playing all the way home.
