Great, gotta get me a new one!

Also, yes! I completed my challenges and kicked Ghost N Goblins and Ninja Gaiden for NES in the backside!
Seems the rendering screwed my login lol. Now the first letter is a bunch of strange characters instead of "ƒ".

Anyways, I thought I might share something; if anyone plays asphalt 8, you'll know of the 330 P4 is insanely overpowered in all environments and situations. Just wanted to say it reminded me of F230GCF/CF...
I started Ghost 'n Goblins. How can an average human being can beat this game... TWICE ? Damn.

Dude, you got to have seen horrible difficult things... for some reason my weaknesses are games that aren't meant to be hard.

But then again, I'm just an idiot to put myself through the entire game till the end, I actually don't like the game because it feels too stiff. Try work your way through these NES games, easiest hard game to hardest hard game:
Megaman
Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde
Ninja Gaiden
Then.. Ghost and Goblins

What level did you get to?
I'm still in level one. And I'm using savestates. Serious

Ouch really? Have you used the knife or javelin, great weapons.

Ha, I remember when I found Level 3-4 of Ghost and Goblins difficult and Level 5 of Battletoads impossible, now I laugh at my old self as I complete Ghost and Goblins and make to Level 10 in Battletoads.

My advice is after the checkpoint on Level 1, jump forward and attack repeatedly.

The first? I always had problems with that one. I'm generally quite good at Mega Man, but I start having trouble when I get to the Wily stages. in MM1 I could never get past the Yellow Devil. He was a breeze in Mega Man Powered Up though.

Have you ever tried Kid Icarus? The game starts out pretty hard but after the first castle stage it makes a random turn and becomes pretty chill.
Here the most importants things to know in Ghost N' Goblins :
1 - Get the knife.
2 - Get the knife.
3 - GET THE KNIFE.

By the way, did you play on the original NES or do you simply use an emulator ?

I used my old NES console, or my friends rather.

@[Wizard]I haven't tried Kid Icarus yet, is it good?
I will definitely buy a console this summer. For now I'm looking to buy a DSi.

Well, you can look at any exchange stores if you find any, unless they still sell them in supermarkets.

And good luck with Ghost N Goblins, I know you can make it.
I have a retro gaming store in my town, but their prices are stupidly high. For example, 40$ for Mario Kart GBA, and 80$ for a used DS Lite. I don't know how much is an NES or an Atari 2600 in this store, and I don't think I want to know.

Well, can you download them in the Wii virtual console?

Or you could stick to emulators.
I can't, I don't have Wi-Fi in my house. Unhappy

My computer don't really handle some emulators really well.

Yes, one of my all-time favorite games. Smile

Right, I may give it a shot. Thanks.

I had one of these in town as well. :\ It was flushed out in months, they also had it backwards for the most part... They kept new in package games in disorganized stacks. Talk about quality service. Tired

Yeah. Movie Trading Company sold Atari 2600 games well below two dollars, Half-Price Books over here gave them away .50 Cents a pop.
.50 cent ? Damn. I remember seeing a picture of a store giving free Atari 2600 cartridges, of course it was in USA... Maybe someday I'll start a collection. I've always been attracted by Atari simplist desgins... For now I just have a ROM collection, it's cheaper.

Yeah but that's not as satisfying as being able to look over at your shelf and admire all of those cartridges. Tongue_out_wink I will say, retro gaming is ridiculously expensive, and more so in recent years. Up until about middle school or so I had a retro game shop in my town that had pretty good prices, and I was in there most weekends. I grew up with a SNES, and later an N64, so of course I was always looking for something new. Anyway the guy had to close up shop when I was in middle school due to some shady stuff he was into. There's another retro game shop in my town now, only a few doors down from where the other place used to be and with comparable prices, but at the moment they just don't have anything I want.

I've been considering picking up a Super Famicom. The prices for games is just a tad cheaper since there is a lot of stuck and not as much demand for it in the west. Most of the games have quite a bit of English text, or just don't need text to be enjoyed. Hell, Super Metroid shares the same rom file in both North America and Japan, and I think Donkey Kong Country is only in English (I might be wrong on that last one, but the Japanese rom definitely has quite a bit of English)
Okay, this is awesome. There's this very cramped shop me and my dad wandered upon, (we're both gamers) and we just loved the retro gaming vibe. On one corner, there was the Atari 5200 next to an Xbox 360, a Sega Dreamcast next to a Coleco Vision, and a Virtual Boy. Along with hundreds of game boxes and thousands of controllers. I finally obtained an authentic Yoshi's Story walkthrough magazine complete with pop-up there for $10. When any of you guys visit Los Angeles, please visit this small but awesome shop. I'm not getting paid to say this, i really like this shop!
Going to throw this out here in hopes that someone will have an answer.

I just got my old PS3 hooked up and I want to transfer some of my Vita games. I know you can download PSN games purchased for the Vita onto a PS3, but can you do the same with Vita cartridge games via Content Manager? I'm still a little confused as to how it all works, since I've never had the opportunity to use these features before.

That game is terrible but I just love it to death. I picked up a complete boxed copy with inserts along with the official guide some years back at a flea market. Smile

I just bought this : http://www.ebay.ca/itm/151657415361
and a 16 GB MicroSDHC for a pretty decent price. I'm a gangsta.
