Thanks.

No problem. I know that it can be hard.
Also, Jirachi is available either on Gamestop's wifi or Mystery Gift. I'm not sure which.
It's both. You get the Mystery Gift FROM Gamestop. Gotta get it, can't let my cousin get ahead:p
Ok so I got Batman: Arkham Asylum in the mail from GameFly a couple days ago, and while I'm not very far into it just yet, I already really feel the need to rant...

How on Earth was this game so well received? The animation and voice acting (minus the Joker) is awful, the combat is a series of mindless, button mashing brawling and the "detective" portions are honestly nothing better than poorly executed hide-n-seek diversions.

Not to mention the game is painfully repetitive so far, consisting of nothing more than:

1.) Follow obvious trail into...
2.) Room full of brain dead AI opponents...
3.) Beat them all down by spamming X and occasionally Y when you see the hilariously obvious "!!!" icon above an enemy's head to counter them...
4.) Search for item/object/other to continue your bread crumb trail following...
5.) Repeat steps 1-4

I really, REALLY hope this game gets better as it goes because so far I am not impressed whatsoever. I can't believe people were calling this game the BioShock of 2009... Are you carp kidding me?
It gets incredibly better once your start the stealth rooms with more gadgets.
Eh, I just saw the advert for a new sonic facing game where they are all racing in cars, seriously, doesn't the fact that sonic is in one completely destroy what he was all about, he can run faster then anything you can ride. Tired
It's not sonic as such, it's Sonic & SEGA All stars Racing. Sonics just there to get the kids sales.
Ive tried the game out and I like it, its pretty fun.

Yeah, I didn't notice that until later today but it still seems stupid.
I want Rockman EXE Operate Shooting Star to come to the US/UK so much! But, there's a game coming for the DS. MegaMan Zero Collection.
This lessens the chance of OSS to come here.

NP gave it an 8, much better than i ever expected. I'll have to try it, i never thought i'd give it a go until i heard that.

ALSO, the DS is literally a cram if the Wii game into the DS. It doesn't work. Stick to the Wii version f you must give it go.
Just got my hands on Megaman 10 and finished Solar Man. While the boss names are ridiculous and the plot is laughable as usual, I really like this game. From what I have played it has great variety, I love the ability to change weapons with L and R (stops all the fumbling around in menus) and though the music is not the series best, it is definitely up there.

But my most major complaint is Sheep Man, WTF...
I want it sooo bad, I love Megaman games! And about Sheepman, I think that Wily just couldn't get to sleep at night...
Final Fantasy XIII was shipped yesterday, can see the quality of my uni work going down quite considerably ><
It does look like it'll be one of the best, from what I've seen the voice acting is pretty good (although a little hammy in parts), and the gameplay looks pretty stunning as well.

came across this and not sure what to think :s
It's kind of an extention of what we already have. On PSN if you download a PSN-only title's demo, you're actually downloading the full game but without the ability to play all the levels, and have all the features. Then when you decide to buy the game you get like a 5KB license file stating you've bought it.

The problem is that they gave it a low rating for some reason, lower than even Final Fantasy XII and I only played it for a little while and hated it straight away. Regardless of that, I think thirteen is going to be an awesome game, though I don't like to judge until I have tried it. Smile
i am so getting final fantasy it is like my favorite game
I have actually managed to play a bit of it at a friend's house. He has been playing it non-stop. One thing I have to say is that the combo system is really hard to get the hang of. Obviously I didn't do any of the tutorials but it is so in depth i think they went too far. However this is coming from someone who refuses to believe that Chrono Trigger could ever be beaten so that makes me slightly pessimistic toward new and complex RPGs. The other comment I have to make is that they really ruined the awesome graphics by the script and voice acting being so cheesy Oerba's voice annoys me especially.
I just finished Arkham Asylum.

Remember the rant I made about it earlier in this thread? Yeah, all of my points still stand, yet are even more pronounced.

This is honestly one of the most overrated, frustratingly inconsistent video games I have ever played. Sure, all games have their highs and lows, but this game was either one extreme or the other -- really amazing or really horrible. There was no in between.

Sure it might be the best Batman game ever made, but that is definitely not saying much.
So you managed to find a way out of that glitch?

Omg yeah, took me like an hour. I was already not too fond of the game prior to that, but after that point on I just wanted to snap the disc in half.
Fair enough D: You're the first person I've met who doesn't like it though.
Genuinely despise the Nintendo wifi connection.
All I can ever seem to get anywhere, even at recommended wifi spots is Error Code: 53000
The connection seems to be really strong, always at full bar for about 15 seconds, then it drops to red, then one bar of yellow, then it dies and comes up with the 53000 message.
Despise.
edit: switched to Pokemon Platinum, and now there are two other different error codes it's been coming up with, 52100 and 53001.
Going to try and catch them all.
