Type-0 looks amazing. The trailer was pretty grim, but for this franchise it's a huge change of pace.

Kingdom Hearts 3D gets the terrible name of Dream Drop Distance. This company Smithicide
I have to admit that it does look nice (Not Type-0 (What a stupid name) but rather XIII-2). I might rent it.

However, I honestly doubt it'll hit this year.

And...huuuh...No word about Versus XIII?

I'm not saying Disgaea is a bad game. Haven't played it, so I can't judge it. I'm just saying that, if you actually enjoy defeating the same ennemies again and again until you become oblivious to the battle music is just...mindless self-punishment.

Lol, there are a few cases where this isn't the case.

-Soul Caliber 2 (GameCube Edition) (it has Link in it)
-Pokemon (Duhh)

Just my opinion though...

I actually listen to the Pokemon battle music as i proof-read through my assignment; it makes me feel like i'm battling for my grades...
Hey guys I made a Keyblade out of paper and a wooden sword I'll have pics soon
The below trailers are all rips from the stream Square Enix put up of the event. It's not very good. Expect higher quality ones next week.

Final Fantasy Type-0
Final Fantasy Versus XIII
Final Fantasy XIII-2
Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance

Versus is 2012 at the earliest I'd say. If XIII-2 is Winter 2011, then there's no way Versus is in 2011.

I'm also not sure why you'd put faith in a XIII sequel, and not Type-0, since I have a good feeling the latter will be miles better than XIII-2. If you're talking visuals, well Type-0 is a PSP game... The name came change was due to the fact Square Enix felt the game no longer had enough ties to XIII to be part of that universe (read as: We hope the poor word of mouth of XIII doesn't hurt this game, and if it does well, we'd like to make sequels).

It's mostly a gut reaction. Type-0 looks...Silly. Not sure why (Besides, I don't have a PSP, so I'll probably never check it out)

But once again, Square Enix manages to do pretty awesome trailers to hype the Hell out of fanboys. I'll surely rent XIII-2, if only for the cool visuals. Hopefully the game isn't as linear as its predecessor. I'm curious about KH 3D. Well, there's Xemnas (Hopefully dubbed by Paul St. Peter again) so it is surely worth it.

Its been over 2 years since i saw a trailer for VersusXIII; i seriously love the soundtrack; cannot wait to download it ^^ Graphics wise.. pong is still number 1, hah.

EDIT: oh the soundtrack is already out.. pirate time.
Like a moron, I just checked out the Versus XIII trailer and they seem to be in the right track. The gameplay ressembles more Kingdom Hearts, which is good, because Kingdom Hearts is a great series.

Thank God I bought that PS3.

You know it's a Japanese chart when: 26 of the top 100 games sold are on the PSP.

You know it's a Japanese chart when none of the top 100 games are on the Xbox 360.

In many European countries (UK excluded) this happens, though that's usually a top 10 no show, and not top 100.
So, I downloaded the demo for "Bleach: Soul Ignition" which is the upcoming Bleach game for the PS3. This one is very different from the 20 other Bleach games in that it's a 3D beat 'em up which also uses some RPG elements and not a 2D fighting game.

It was very short (and, since I suck, I died against the boss) but it was also really fun. The music kicked that three letters word which is banned here, the gameplay, while repetitive, was also fun. The graphics aren't anything special, since they went for that anime-ish style, but I like it, because I like mangas anyway.

We play as "Skull-Clad Ichigo", which is a strange hollow-like version of Ichigo that appears in the fourth movie, and we're in what I assume is Hell, so it's probably a scene from the fourth movie.

My only complain is that it gives spoilers for the fourth movie. Here's a shock: The guy who's really helpful in the first and second act turns out to be evil. Never seen that before. Anyway, since I am a huge Bleach dork, this is certainly on my "To buy" list.
Zelda games are so much fun!! I'm currently working on Legend Of Zelda: The Wind Waker. I'm in the Wind Temple, just made it to the boss. The boss is this giant snake-like thingy that you have to fight in a room full of sand.
I have no meme to symbolize this feeling.
Anyway; lolslycooper. What kind of story line will this be? Hope its not like KH.. :c

Do you believe?

I want an Xbox version with Master Chief, Marcus Fenix, and Shepherd from Mass Effect.
I'm still LOLing at the "You'll Need These!" caption on the box.
I...Hate...Palmer...and...his...carpin'...MILOTIC! Gawd, how hard is it to beat the guy! So unfair, the only Pokemon I took down was his Dragonite with mine.

I love how ludacris they look with the random globes you can accessorize, not that a person playing Just Dance on the Kinect looks doesn't look absolutely absurd.
Given the "PlayStation Move Required" label, you'd think they wouldn't have to do that. But eh, it's best they do so stores don't get returns wondering why the game doesn't work. Since I know of people who've boughten Gameboy Color games and attempted to play them on a Gameboy Pocket.

Usually crossovers are only interesting when the characters themselves have character.

PSP2 seems to be some godly beast of a handheld. Nikkei (a trusted Japanese news outlet) just let it out that it'll use an OLED touchscreen, and have 3G connectivity. This is alongside rumors of a gyroscope, two cameras, a back trackpad, and the addition of a second analog stick. Edit: I guess I can't forget the rumors of PS3/360 like graphics either...

I am preparing to get a second job.

Sony is formerly set to announce the PSP successor on January 27 in a media briefing in Japan.
