Essentially, Need For Speed will likely get the can in the near future. Atari better not try to buy the brand, Test Drive is poised to make a much better return to the circuit, so yeah.

Will anyone really miss NFS? They're pretty much kicking a dead horse at this point.
The wiggers who haven't found Midnight Club yet will be disapointed, one being my brother...
a lot of people i know like need for speed still :\
kinda like tony hawk games.
too bad they both got old a few years ago.
TH supposed to come back

I will miss Need for Speed yeah, because of what it used to be..;,(

So who watched the VGA awards on Spike??? hmm

I was going to say it was great-but i gave it a second thought and I could have just read about it and watch the trailers... jack black was funny tho..

shite Uncharted teaser got me the most excited. http://www.gametrailers.com/player/43625.html

Didn't you read the post above? ¬_¬ If Roan is to be believed, and I would believe him if I were you, then, in the end, To left of his own accord.
Not sure if I should be sharing this here or not, but oh well...

To Wrote:Oh I make another unfunny douche-baggie useless post and I get warned again, and put on a week ban. Well, Im sorry that you found that somewhat offensive. Hell, Id argue my first offense aswell, since you know other then it not being nice, it wasnt exactly the most evil comment ever.

And here I thought it was because of another comment I made in the video games section, which was snarky, and ill-mannered, so it was changed. But the one where I make a joke about Dateline NBC and the MFB designs. Who would have carp guessed?

Thanks for the less then tremendously pleasant time, perma-ban please?

There's your explanation. Now drop it and get back on topic please.
Playing Tatsunoko VS Capcom with the 6-button stick is gonna be awesome!

nope, he havent even tried out the game when he shot his parents..?
its more the kids fault, regardless of how much influence you get from the game, you have to have some deep mental issues to actually kill your mother and try to kill your dad

There's an odd bug on the forum where whenever someone makes a post that starts a new page, others are unable to see that the new page exists until someone else makes a post after them.

Which is why you see people posting "bug" a lot. lol

Well if he wanted to play it so bad I'm assuming he had played games like it and/or had heard a lot about the game and got hyped up.

Either way, I don't think you can completely blame a game either it's just something I was talking about with some other friends......

Holy carp(yes that's "carp" as in the fish, not carp)! He wasn't even legally allowed to play the game at the time! No game is worth killing for, and from the article his parents seem like good folk. So I really don't understand what could cause that kid to kill his mom. They say it's from being homebound, but I still can't understand his attachment to games.

I know. What I found weird is that it's not like he was even having an argument with them and lost it - it's the way he said planned it and said 'I have a suprise for you'. Hella creepy. If I was his father I'd be having nightmares about that. Pinching_eyes_2

lol yes he was. he just wasnt allowed to legally buy it.

btw it was kinda stupid of his dad to hide the game next to his gun (why does a priest have a gun anyway? I read that the dad was a priest)
