y u no liek Sonic The Hedgehog? IBLIS TRIGGERRRR

Speaking of which, I just dusted off my Sonic Mega Collection disc and played it for a couple hours, most of the time trying to be Super Sonic in STH2. Stupid soundtracks.

I also have taken a liking to the Megaman X series and I am playing X5 right now. I'm more of a MMZ fanboy just 'cause the sprites are so amazing, but we'll see who rules the day..
Oh god. I have the Mega Man X Collection game for the gamecube, and ever since I watched a certain vid, I've been playing Mega Man X. But I forgot my Gamecube controls. Like, it doesn't feel comfortable on me anymore.

GOD...

So i decided to buy the ps3 afterglow controller.....and......guess.....what.......IT"S AWESOME!!!!!

it was totally worth it, its cheaper and better, although it looks like it can break easily, not sure if it would break easily so im going to be really carefull with this one.

Looking for buying games for my wii, its getting really antique, havent touched it in a while... any good games
Actually, that is one of the concerns most people have with any off-label controller - most of them, even to this day, seem very fragile and more prone to malfunction, which is one of the biggest reasons I haven't bought an off-label controller since... uhh... 2003? All I remember is every single MadCatz or whatever controller I bought breaking or having analogue failure or whathaveyou within a couple of weeks.

I went out to GameStop today and made my purchase of Sonic Colors. So far, I'm having a lot of fun. I think this is the most fun I've had with a Sonic game since Sonic Adventure 2!! (And that's a lot, because I love Sonic Heroes). If not, more. I'm loving the level designs, and the back in forth between 2D and 3D. It's a lot better than the day time levels in Unleashed. I guess SEGA knows how to make a good Sonic game after all.

I pull Sonic Mega Collection out and play it every few months or so. And I love the soundtracks to those games. Tongue_out I'm actually working on a Sonic The Hedgehog 2 arrangement for a small band! (Emerald Hill > Robotnik > Zone Clear) XD

Try X1. That's currently my only SNES game, and I've had a lot more fun with it than I should have.

Dude, I'm jelly. I need that game! D:

Also, I find the Gamecube controller to be VERY comfortable. Play some Zelda, you'll get used to it. Tongue_out
Im still stuck with sonic riders. It's really hard beating the robots and im still doing the first part of the game. But it's really fun because its challenging. Any cheap and good sonic games for WII out there?

That's the thing. I'm trying to configure the controls to make it comfortable. Particularly about Dashing + Jumping. On the DS or GBA, say Mega Man Zero or Mega Man ZX/A, it feels very comfortable. On that, it's not because the controller is so clunky. I can't even use my Wii Classic Controller on it...
I never really found the GC controller at all comfortable for that kind of gameplay. Great for action games and action-RPGs, but something like a sidescroller with dashing and so forth is just uncomfortable on it.

At least it doesn't cause hand cramping as bad as marathoning MMZ games on a GBA Micro - which is my handheld of choice for anything else.
So, is Sonic Generations a cool game? I enjoyed the demo, just wondering what everything else in the game is like. I used to like Sonic games a lot, then I hadn't played one in a while, then got Sonic Unleashed and was disappointed. Haven't played a Sonic game since so I'm just double checking. I'm going to look at a couple YouTube videos as well.

I'm thinking of getting it, along with Need For Speed: The Run.

Sadly there isn't any. Of course, you could get Sonic Colors for $20 at GameStop (New). I'm having a lot of fun with that one. Otherwise, you only other GOOD Sonic option is to download Sonic The Hedgehog 4: Episode 1. But Episode 2 won't get a Wii release.

Really? I play a lot of Mega Man Anniversary Collection and although there is no dash, there is sliding, and I still find it comfortable.

Keiji, if your able to configure the controls, try making B shoot, A jump, and Y dash. That seems pretty simple, and close to how I control Mega Man 1-6 on my Gamecube. (Except B is shoot, A is jump, and Y is kind of a rapid fire. It's equivalent to hitting the button three time in a row at a nice pace)

My friend Ryan said it's really good. The only thing that he doesn't like about it is the changed music. It's not Crush 40 anymore. Uncertain But if you get the PS3/360 version, you get to enjoy another fight with Perfect Chaos! Grin Or if you get the 3DS version, you enjoy another fight with Bio Hazard (Sonic Adventure 2)

Now if only the music was done by Crush 40....

You want hand cramping? A bloody PSP3000. THAT'S hand cramping. It got so bad, I had to buy a grip for it; one of those controller-looking grips, the one with the prongs.

That's my thing. I'm most use to my Dash being some kind of L or so button. Like a shoulder button. Because A and Y are so close to each other, it's not exactly a comfortable position with my thumb because of having to time the combination of the buttons with on finger, especially on a clunky controller. I'm used to my left hand dealing with movement, and my right dealing with whatever.
Then why don't you set the controls to use L as Dash? -____-
Bad Battery Life vs. Bad Battery Life Round #2

Just a side note, no one should buy the game demoed in this video. It's apparently an appallingly bad effort on Codemasters.

....Can you believe that I didn't think of that until you mentioned it? I always felt that L and R had to be the weapon switching.

Fail! XD You could just use X and Y as weapon switching. That would probably be easy too. Tongue_out

How did the 3DS win? I thought the PS Vita had more battery life? Thats got to be a paradox or something o_0
I was totally LMAO when I saw a Pikachu version of Sonic the hedgehog and best of all, that guy lets you download it as well. He modded the game. I played through the game and it was funny how Pikachu can use thunder when the charge gauge is full.

The download in his video description is
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/40547891/Project...cmouse.bin

That is his modded game ROM. It's a Pikachu version.
You will need Fusion36 or other Genesis emulator for it.

I enjoy that game. ha

Different settings. The latest video I posted had both the Vita and 3DS on their lowest possible brightness settings, where as the other one had them at their max. There's also the games. F1 2011 vs. Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3/Super Street Fighter 4 3D Edition or Monster Hunter games competing against each other, which would factor in battery comparisons.
...Why do we care about battery life, so much, exactly?

Just saying, if you can spend several hours playing that game without ever coming accross a wall plug to recharge your handheld, then you're probably lost in the woods. And if you are, then stop playing video games and find a way to get out of the woods Oo
Battery life is integral to a handheld. I don't want to have to recharge it every night to make sure I can play it the next day.
That's why I like the 3DS charger stand type thing. I just keep my 3DS on it all the time, except for when I'm playing, and I don't run out.

That's exactly what I mean. What's wrong with just plugging it into the wall to charge it all night long and just picking it up in the morning? It takes like half a minute and is seemingly effortless. That's what I do with my 3DS... when I actually use the damne thing Uncertain

I dunno. Just seems like it wouldn't matter that much to me... Certainly not a purchase factor '_'
If I go on a weekend trip and need something to kill the car ride, do you think you'd be able to recharge during the time in between? Not likely.

Car chargers and wall-to-car adaptors say hi.
