Well I can't speak for Xbox or PS3/2 controllers but with the Wii/Gamecube controllers (not the Wiimotes) my brother's been through about three and I'm still on my first which I've had for years and it's still working fine. I think it's just about how you treat them.

Im hooked on Tekken games atm, plan to beat everything game by game, just got all the characters in Tekken 2, now im moving onto Tekken 3. Can't wait for Tekken 6 to come out, I dont want to spend anymore money on the Arcades aswell not to mention everyone at the Arcade has ditched it in favor for Street Fighter 4

I loved Tekken 3, though through the games my fave characters have been near enough the same:
Tekken 2 (Havent played the first): Baek
Tekken 3/4/5: Hwoarang, Yoshimitsu
I cant remember if Yoshi was in Tekken 2, but if he was, then he's up there in my faves, same goes for Kunimitsu.

Yeah Yoshimitsu was in Tekken 2, hes been in all of them I think, sucks that Kunimitsu hasnt made an appearance since like Tekken Tag Tournament but. Maybe sometime soon Namco will do another Tekken Tag Tournament, or just have a Tekken where its got all the characters and old levels all re-done.
I just got Rolando for iPhone. Its really cool, basically LocoRoco done right.

Which brings me to my next point: Why on Earth are controllers so carp expensive? It only costs MS roughly $10 to make their wireless controller for the 360 and yet they turn around and sell it for $50+. Its carp retarded and augh I am in such a carp mood right now.

Augh Megaten games are the KINGS of cheap deaths. I'm playing P4 and get a post-battle bonus where I'm getting 1.5x EXP. I get attacked by these monsters that I've beat before so you know, I'm not too worried. My first attack misses, one of them attacks and crits, gets a "One More". Attacks and crits, gets ANOTHER "One More". Attacks again and I die. AUUUGH. Now I need to do the first half of the dungeon again. /sob
^ I think if something like that happened to me I'd be liable to eject the disc forcefully and throw it at the wall.
Actually, I know I would. I've done it before. (LOL cheap carp final boss in Dead or Alive 3 made me raaaaaage)
I gave up playing right after, I'm still bitter. Might attempt it again tonight. Maybe.
It wouldn't have been so bad if it was a weakness-exploited death because then, you know, it's partially my fault for not paying attention to what I was using. But crit deaths are utter BS because it's LUCK-based. I happened to have the unfortunate luck to get a monster that crit me twice giving it three attacks in a row. Uuuuugggh.
