Front Mission 4 is so much better when you're good at it. I've owned it previously when I was younger, but I mad wrong, rash, decisions regarding my Wanzer (the name of the robot you pilot) and royally screwed my game up. I didn't want to restart at the time, so I just sold it back to GameStop.
So now that I'm older and understand the mechanics better, I'm taking a more strategic approach to battles now instead of the "GOGOGO FIRESHOTKILL," approach, and it's making the game a much more enjoyable experience.
Like Drawn To Life, Scribblenauts is a novel idea, from a developer who really can't develop a platformer. Good gosh, playing Scribblenauts, and controling Maxwell, is probably harder then driving a semi.

Sony TGS presser was pretty uneventful, got news of a new Ape Escape, GT5 - March 2010, and Resident Evil 5: Alternate Edition compatible with the Wand.
Wii - $199 Starting Next Week
Don't know if it was the price that was keeping the Wii down this year. If anything, it's just that the fad is finally wearing off.

The Silver 2000 I own is probably like version 3, or something, since I only use it as a virtual Gameboy since the UMD drive died. The Black 2000 I own is OFW at 5.55.
As for Arkham, I recently finished it up. While I didn't like it nearly as much as other people did, I thought it was still a pretty solid game.

it is some hot carp. The Brawling is so excellent, I spent like 50 mins in the challenge rooms. I never ever do that, fighting games are not my thing since tekken 3...

It got a 9.0/10 on GameSpot! That's a pretty good rating, I'll probably pick up a copy next week.

Halo 3: ODST:
new M7S and M6C SOCOM are useless, the new pistol in particular is not like halo: combat evolved's sidearm as bungie and the gaming press seem to think, it takes almost 3 clips of head shots to kill 1 brute (wayyy weaker), recoil, and fires slower! SMG is ok on grunts/jackals/drones but is again a lot worse than the previous SMG (reduced mag, stronger recoil, removal of dual wieldage). BR is gone yet Carbine is in (???)... Sniper now takes 2 head shots for brutes...
canon is a mess with new mombasa being occupied pretty much solely by brutes (elites make a brief cameo - as dead bodies) even though chief was fighting elites only just moments before ODSTs first chronological mission, in halo 2.
