Just another note on Megaman ZX Advent. It continues Megaman's tradition of easy gameplay all the way through... riiight up until the last area which gets abrubtly difficult.

Honestly I can't stand the Ghost Recon games, but then again, I hate squad-based shooters, so maybe my opinion is a little biased. lol

LOL

who are you to judge "good games"?

and to answer your question, i absolutely consider myself a "hardcore gamer" considering I own arguably the most hardcore out of the three consoles.

I have an opinion and I expressed it. Problem? Just because you have "the hardcore console" doesn't make you hardcore haha

I would assume a hardcore gamer such as yourself usually rank in the top three places in a ranked match or are involved in a clan and do battles every now and then?

lol, what is your definition of 'good games' ?

My definition of a good game is a game which has good gameplay, graphics and online. Assasin's Creedd is a good game but no multiplayer online made me stop playing after two days. Gears of War however, it's probably the best online game i've played, the single player campaign is good and the graphics are really nice.

Right now i'm playing COD4 campaign, might try online out soon after I get to grips with the game's style of play. Last game I played online was Resistance Fall of Man and it was fun but I lost it haha

If you had bothered to read any of the posts after mine, you would see that even the term "hardcore" is retarded as everyone has a different take on it. I don't consider myself that hardcore, but I do play my share of the games that marketed to "your" market.

As to your question about whether or not I am in a clan, that answer is no because unfortunately, I have a demanding course load and other things that keep me preoccupied.

P.S. I have played every single game you mentioned in your post regarding Tyler, and actually do rank in the top 3 whenever I play COD4.

Whoops?

Again, too subjective to nail down to any specific games. And what, you won't play any game that doesn't satisfy your taste for online competition?

I don't understand, your calling COD4 a good game?
Because almost everyone with a 360 on this board likes/talks about that game.

Best created on the face of the planet.

No.. Not really. But it is a VERY good game.
I just play what I think looks cool
Litrid Wrote:I just play what I think looks cool

This is hilariously correct.
Mystikal, you're being incredibly elitist to come up in here and tell us that we aren't hardcore gamers.

I think anyone with a deep involvement in video games is hardcore. People who camp out in awful weather conditions for games or consoles (Which I've done, btw) are hardcore. People who blaze through a game's entire story mode in one sitting are hardcore. People who stay up for days straight playing games are hardcore.

Just because we aren't trying to get the highest score for some online leader board that no one else really cares about doesn't make us any less hardcore than anyone else.

Also, you're plain ignorant if you think every "good" game has to have a multi-player option. Assassin's Creed is a narrative driven game and a multi-player setting would more or less destroy that. Same with BioShock. Not every game is built for a multi-player environment.
if i have to read the word "hardcore" one more carp time

also thanks i'm going to name the advanced bladers group "hardcore bladers"

to the xxxxtreme

Is pre-ordering a game that unattractive of a concept?

If this was a viable option for everyone all the time, it would never happen.

What?

Is going outside that unattractive of a concept?

I pre-order games on a very frequent basis. But if it's a hugely anticipated title like Halo 2 was and if it's going to be released at midnight, you better believe I'm camping out to play it earlier than normal.

I've only ever camped out for Halo 2 (Even though I already had it pre-ordered) and for a Wii, only because they weren't offering pre-orders for the damn thing and I knew I wouldn't get one otherwise. Do I regret that? Halo 2, no, not at all. The Wii? Most definitely.
