None of what you listed is as bad as Hasbro's current Beyblade. Barbie dolls, Bakugan, and Transformers especially, being a Hasbro brand, is properly priced for the quality they're delivering. Hasbro Transformers is arguably in its best place in years.

(Sep. 16, 2022  4:37 AM)shindivinity Wrote: [ -> ]Can't help but think IMO, Hasbro's demographics for their latest batches of Beyblade toys barring Pro Series are aimed at very young children.

Hence the very lightweight materials used on their blades, so that is not easily able to injure anyone in case of any accidents, unlike the heavier and sharper counterparts from TT which are aimed at a much older demographic.

Pro Series and mainline have always been advertised as being aimed towards 8+ children. The only reason why American children buy the product is because it's the only thing easily available in-stores. It's not because American children want to buy lightweight Beys - given the choice, of course they would want Pro Series or Takara Tomy over regular Hasbro. It's an accessibility issue. Kids aren't buying Pro Series and TT because it's either too expensive or they can't wait for shipping.

Pro Series and TT are not aimed towards older demographics. Who do you think is buying Beyblades in Japan? It's always been children buying TT - TT recommends the age to be 6+, even lower than Hasbro's 8+ for Pro Series. "The older demographic" is a very small segment of the market, and thinking TT is aimed towards "a much older demopgraphic" only makes sense if you disregard the entirety of TT's domestic market.

You nailed it.

Hasbro confirmed to do BU called QS

Confirmed Info

an Xcalius Power Speed Launcher Pack

Thunder Edge Battle Set

QS Stadium Basic

Release date says Jan 1st 2023 that is just a placeholder, likely this year we see info pop up more.
What does mean « QS » ?
If QS ends up being like QuadStorm or something like that I’m gonna quit Beyblade.
Maybe qs stands for "quality stuff"? 😂😂😅🤣🤣

One can only hope at this point.
I'm incredibly disappointed in Hasbro. They destroyed their reputation on Beyblade during the end of Surge through QuadDrive. I thought they were improving and going back to a competitive scale when Speedstorm first released with them giving us gimmicks, but later they decided to cheap out and remove the gimmicks altogether. When they had the opportunity to close out well they gave us releases like Jet Wyvron and Infinte Achilles that basically started the worst year in Hasbro Beyblade history. QuadDrive had the worst recolors and the worst performance of any of Hasbro's burst series along with the two ugliest beys I've ever seen. Hasbro has literally ruined Beyblade for fans. Now they're going to massacre Beyblade Burst BU. Sorry for the rant.

No need to apologize, it's basically what we all think.

I second this tbh, Speedstorm started so well and went downhill as more waves came out and when QD came out, there was no redeeming factors in this. The whole 4-1 gimmick is just terrible and most of the armor tips got the speedstorm treatment. Raphael and Ultimate got butchered hard.

It's gonna be painful to see things like Divine (Which was already bad from the start), Xiphoid, Zest, Wind, etc get absolutely nerfed by Hasbro's cheapness.

I think it's also funny to note that Hasbro has made no effort to make the gears and NO i don't count that little fused disk thing they did with Nexus and S-Gear.

You’re right. Lol, they did so bad with QD I forgot about the Gears.
Hey, at least HasDivine might tear up the Classic meta. /s
Inb4 QuadShock, QuadStrike or QuadStorm is the name

Praying for QuadSphere 🙏

Info is just the listings but, Brave Valtryek, Rage Luinor, and Variant Lucius pro series.
I'm going to be cautiously optimistic for pro sparking. On one hand, it's exciting to finally get pro sparking. On the other hand, this is hasbro.
Given 2 of these are attack types, either rage or brave is probably not going to be it's stock combo. Can't wait to see Rage Luinor Revolve 3A.
If Valtryek, Lúinor, and Lucius are all together in one wave, then yes, one, if not all, types will be changed seeing that they have yet to double up on a type for a PS wave.

I hope they are. Having a Rage Longinus and Brave Valkyrie would cool. I hope they aren't expecting to use those Winders on Sparking stuff lol.
It's cheaper to buy TT/YT sparking than these

Damn it.
R.I.P. Bro should’ve been careful
QuadStrike is an interesting name but heres the funny part, there are gonna be people (Most likely kids) who are really about to think this is gonna be SwitchStrike 2.0 or at least SwitchStrike quality. Me personally, i don't think this is gonna be any different than QuadDrive as far as system is concerned, i have a feeling this is just gonna be QuadDrive 2: Electric Boogaloo.

Expectations are low on this one, i unfortunately had high hopes for QuadDrive, not making that mistake again

Yeah, for some reason I always have high hopes for the new hasbro season, but hasbro always seems to disappoint.
Hastroll only good for certain pro series parts on sale.
Just a random prediction:

Brave Valtryek Evolution' 2A - unchanged to finally get a version of Evolution
Variant Lucius Mobius 2D - unchanged, probably
Rage Luinor Dimension' 3A - likely as we "already have Ds' (not really but according to Hasbro", I'd say balance combo > stamina & it would be a cool upgrade to Zone Luinor Blitz Xtend+.
