I think WBO staff was mad cause hasbro messed up 4D and Zero G in 2012 lol

Might've been made by WBO staff themselves to keep people from trying to create an "official" Hasbro account and trolling people, but this is all off topic anyways.

Point is, Hasbro do be dropping the ball quite a bit with no Legacyquex or +Variable or even a 9 Gravity Ring. That bothers me immensely more than Regnar does.

It amuses me that Hasbro chose to drop the ball when it came to Ultimate Valtryek, which was a celebration of a fan favourite Beyblade (Valkyrie) for TT, but ends up underdelivering on Hasbro's end.

Talk about it! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ok, i just found this "kind-of-review" on YouTube about the new Hasbro Qd Ultimate Evo Valtryek V7. The video is in spanish, if you're wondering. The "reviewer" is for sure very young, so don't expect much details or professional in-depth analysis. I thought it could be interesting to a certain extent, also this thread has been sleeping for 2 weeks so that's a good reason to wake it up. Please, if this makes you mad (and of course i can see the reason why) direct your offences towards Hasbro, not me 😂😂🤣🤣

It getting bursted by wild wyvern is the funniest thing i've seen all day.
yes i know it's a fake W2 but still a stationary defense layer plus idk if the br was screwed with.
Ultimate Valtryek has to be one of the least detailed Beys for QuadDrive. For the "Valtryek to end all Valtryeks", Ultimate Evo Valtryek is a horrible tribute Bey thanks to its performance, detailing, and heavy lack of original parts. Way to go, Hasbro.
The Savior Valtryek from Hasbro is one the best performing beys though

Haha truly garbage QD release, there is no defense to this and this is the best case for the garbage result of Hasbro defenders and the result of HASBRO not caring, wrong parts, wrong color and lack of paint, POOR performance against og Wyvron

i can't help but laugh we could've had change but people kept defending hasbro hard lmao

The sides of the TT DB Core are coloured gold...and Hasbro already was using gold paint on their Drive Chip...but switched the sides to red on the renders...and the final product is...orange?

Innovative as usual. Bravo Hasbro. 10/10

Red Armor Tip to simulate the red rubber of Variable' in the anime too, truly pioneers of toy-making.

Can't help but think IMO, Hasbro's demographics for their latest batches of Beyblade toys barring Pro Series are aimed at very young children.

Hence the very lightweight materials used on their blades, so that is not easily able to injure anyone in case of any accidents, unlike the heavier and sharper counterparts from TT which are aimed at a much older demographic.

Also Hasbro's hypemachine etc are targeted at kids who like to collect general toys etc, so they can afford to cut costs whilst make the packaging look fancy and sound technical with their "attack/defence/stamina" jibberish ratings.

Helps out their bottom line a lot.
There's no picking and choosing what suits an argument to defend Hasbro, if Plastics and MFB were right at 1:1, if  Burst up until SST is 1:1 and if in Japan it is targetted to the same young audience if Pro Series is 8+ the SAME age as Quad Drive for targetted there is no argument to justify for Hasbro for cut costs, the reality is all the cuts to maximize profit, the cheaper the beys are for them to produce the more max profit there is.

It is enough excuses for Hasbro for a brand that does not care for the fandom or who their audience is, that's why they will produce a lot of quantity in products and have them warm shelves for months having poor sales and on a massive decline for people's interest.

Not trying to defend what ever practices make their excecutives and market strategists happy.

But as long as there is new anime series to supplement the hype for the new generations of products, their garbage releases will still rake in the $$$$ just like the countless overpriced useless barbie dolls/bakugans/transformer toys etc
I don't think they're making much profit when you have multiple Toys R Us in Canada and Walmart on many locations across Canada with poor stock for months and months on end things stuck on shelves that have been years old like evolution, or in the US at multiple Target locations across states with things like Pro Series warming shelves and big battle sets not selling and being stuck for over a year having to go on a massive discount to get rid off.

What Hasbro is doing, does not benefit anyone and doesn't even benefit themselves when they constantly fumble their products and reflect on shelf life in stores.

Uhm no, trust me i'm definitely NOT a Hasbro defender or something. I only left the link to the original video, since apparently nobody noticed that. Of course when i wrote "please insult Hasbro, not me" i was exactly mentioning the fact that i only linked the thread to YouTube. Period. The beys' look and performance are all Hasbro's fault. Of course Qd sucks (besides Assault-Qd and Kick attachment), that's never been up for discussion in my book 😅😅
What else can i say? Just one more release and the agony is finally over 😁😁

I am not aware of the situation in Canada as I am in AUS.

and in my state the big stores, seem to be doing pretty well the sales whenever I go and hbave a look around Target/Kmart/Big W

I would actually be making some purchases for collection purposes if we had massive clearance deals like that.

At best in stores I am seeing is by Big W this week with their sales which is not very often.

No problem, it's all good!

None of what you listed is as bad as Hasbro's current Beyblade. Barbie dolls, Bakugan, and Transformers especially, being a Hasbro brand, is properly priced for the quality they're delivering. Hasbro Transformers is arguably in its best place in years.

Pro Series and mainline have always been advertised as being aimed towards 8+ children. The only reason why American children buy the product is because it's the only thing easily available in-stores. It's not because American children want to buy lightweight Beys - given the choice, of course they would want Pro Series or Takara Tomy over regular Hasbro. It's an accessibility issue. Kids aren't buying Pro Series and TT because it's either too expensive or they can't wait for shipping.

Pro Series and TT are not aimed towards older demographics. Who do you think is buying Beyblades in Japan? It's always been children buying TT - TT recommends the age to be 6+, even lower than Hasbro's 8+ for Pro Series. "The older demographic" is a very small segment of the market, and thinking TT is aimed towards "a much older demopgraphic" only makes sense if you disregard the entirety of TT's domestic market.
There is no next day Prime delivery from Amazon US?
In AUS TT/YT blades from amazon are basically around the same price as Hasbro anyways.

Different strokes for different folks I suppose Wink

Not entirely sure how this is relevant to the conversation at hand, but it depends on which region of the country you live in. Most parents and children aren't aware of legitimate TT sellers on Amazon - the majority are purchasing Hasbro in-stores. The type of people we're dealing with are the kinds of people who buy fakes off Amazon - they are just general consumers, not older knowledgeable fans.
