For me they just google it on their website, then say no when it doesn't pop up.

If my thinking is correct, that is just being lazy

They are actually a good purchase if you have Hasbro MFB launchers. the ripcords included are longer, and work well with the light launcher V1.

I'll settle for scouring the Times Square several floor Toys 'R' Us.

That TRU is closed cadney
Wow... I didn't notice Toys 'R' Us was abbreviated as TRU, i'm so stupid.
Did anyone see Toys R Us Canada's Facebook? They confirmed the September release date.
We sort of knew but cool to see some advertisement being done now... It was so quiet until now.

I hope the central letter on each Layer is not really opaque white.
Here it is:

I totally expect the final release to look like this, opaque letter and all. Honestly doesn't look too bad to me. Also seems to be a lot less decals, so earlier guesses that they're printed on might be correct.
Wow!
This is ugly!

Btw, are the holes in the center of the layers closed? It's a nice touch from TT, because we can see the driver through it, but apparently Hasbro Beyblades won't be like that? Also... Two colors on Spryzen S2? Why? D:

I'm really not hyped to this. Pinching_eyes

Thanks anyway for sharing, Brad. Smile
IDK why but links Bey Brad just gave are taken down I guess?

Hm, that link does not work for me either, but it still works when I go directly to the Facebook Page, although I get the French version. Hopefully this one works:

And here is the picture itself if you also cannot see it in Brad's post for some reason:
Funnily, that one doesn't work for me. Seems like their posts are extremely targeted.
Oh man that's ugly, it's so Hasbro board game like! I mean I guess it doesn't really matter as I own a nicer looking S2 and S2 really isn't worth buying for the layer anyway but still... Well... it's not confirmed to be the actual colours yet right? But then why would they even use them if not?
It looks like they are using solid-coloured plastic for the Drivers so I guess it wouldn't be that cool to see it through the Layer, anyway. I'm not sure how I feel about all their redesign decisions, but it's not like the originals will stop existing. It's cool that there's yet another way to get parts in a new style.

I wonder if they are going to change the CG models in the anime?
I mean... Come on!

I made this in like 5 minutes in an online editor ( pixlr.com/editor )

And they are "pros"! At least the poster should be well done, but... Unhappy
lol, the way yours is framed is definitely better. but the person who made this ad has probably never even seen a Beyblade before

Yeah, probably... That's the main problem, I don't get why people just don't search a bit more when doing certain arts...

And about the replacement of the models in the anime, Oh, boy, I hope they don't do it!

The link is not working for me either as well as the one Brad posted hah.

Who's excited for Hasbro release now ? After seeing that !
Dropping in for one last post before people start crying.

People need to understand that Hasbro isn't really marketing towards us, people who like the Japanese approach and aesthetic. Hasbro markets towards the American - and well, global children today - which is why they make awkward design choices to us, people who are used to how Takara Tomy markets their products. That's besides the point, however, I believe a huge drastic change worked only once, and that's with Metal Fusion. I feel as if the reason why Metal Fusion was really popular is because they hit the sort of "Underground" theme pretty well, but, as I, and most of us here know, when they shifted towards the skate park/BMX theme, that's when sales started dropping significantly. It's not like Hasbro is a small company, as they most likely spend a ton of money researching what kids like and don't like, and to be brutally honest; it is definitely not the Japanese version of Burst. Hasbro is trying to make money, not make a homage to old beyblade fans.

It makes sense purely from a business standpoint. And with that, I'm out.
Well honestly, I would definitely spend my money on V2 (oh sorry, I meant Valtryek) depending on if they reinforce the Layer. If they do reinforce it, I will be very happy. Not to mention it doesn't look too tampered with anyway.

S2/Spryzen however... ugh, geez. The recolour leaves a lot to be desired TBH because whilst red and gold as a colour scheme can work, it's just not well thought up there. Why? Because if the two blades are gold whilst seemingly fused with the red plastic then it just ends up looking awkward and out of place. I will probably stick to buying the Takara Tomy one unless Hasbro gives S2 better teeth.

However, I understand the awkward colour scheme was aimed at a different target audience and as long as the parts are in good quality, I don't mind too much I suppose.
I think these look pretty cool! Simplified, but true to Beyblade and eye-catching.
the ad on toysrus facebook looks to be a teaser, the way its cropped. It'll most likely be part of a bigger ad that shows off the products more and releases dates and stuff. On top of all that, beyblade is marketed towards kids in the states, so it's not going to look super nice in ads and stuff.

Edit: though I will say, Hasbro could probably get more success with Beyblade if they treated it like a game instead of a toy. Getting them into game shops along side tcgs and boardgames would probably open things up a bit more or them. I highly doubt they'd ever do that though.
Awesome news, but the entire Toysrus Canada facebook page isn't working for me at all. Not just the link to the beyblade post, but in general. Maybe it's locked for my region or something hmm.
There's nothing more than the image I posted, other than Toys R Us Canada saying they'll have Burst in September.

Yeah; that's why I said Hasbro would do it
