Just a reminder, these aren't pictures of the ACTUAL beys. These are 3D models of them, so they may look crude and flat now, but they could look a bit different at release.
I'm sure the real thing will look better, but that render looks decent. Certainly better than a lot of 3D renders TT has shown before.
I still think the Valkyrie shown in the Hasbro Beyblade site looks really good.
None of the links work, why is that?
I think people tend to auto-hate everything that comes out of Hasbro. The render is not that bad.
...
Except why the heck is Spryzen's driver yellow? Why change the pattern?
I don't know why that looks bad to people lol. I like that design a lot more than the Takara Tomy Victory Valkyrie and Storm Spriggan. Well than again I'm not Japanese.

EDIT: Anyone see the top comment on their facebook post? Toy R Us replied and said that Burst will ONLY be available in their store. Is that something important?

I'd be very happy for more diverse Driver colors.

Toys R Us said that Burst is launching exclusively in Canada in Toys R Us, which is pretty interesting. This doesn't say anything about the US launch, but I suspect distribution will be limited in 2016 in general.
My toysrus said they are getting beyblade burst in mid September the manager checked what they are getting and beyblade burst was on the list of stuff. I live in New Jersey.

I totally expect the final release to look like this, opaque letter and all. Honestly doesn't look too bad to me. Also seems to be a lot less decals, so earlier guesses that they're printed on might be correct.

Yeah; that's why I said Hasbro would do it

Yes but you weren't basing it on anything.... You said it was because they were plain even though that could be easily rectified with stickers... They could have just as easily used stickers instead of painting on details. I mean they still might since we haven't seen the actual product.

Anyway I wonder if the US will get these in September too? I'm curious whether the gold bits will be on the final product of S2 and if they'll be painted on.
US is getting them in September my tru is

So far I called a toysrus in eatontown NJ and Freehold NJ both said call in September that's when they are getting them.

The guy at TRU had no info on prices or the names only that they are coming mid September. I'm so excited.

I recommend calling toysrus and asking if they are getting them in September thats what I did.

You probably should hold off before getting to excited about dates, I remember someone stating that Burst was coming out the first weekend of August and here we are almost in September.
The toysrus checked there shipments and the manager of both stores told me September and TRU Canada said September also.

Also those toysrus stores never told me anything about beyblade burst until I called today right when it's almost September and fall which hasbro said was the release.

Pretty sure the same thing was said earlier this month lol.

Although it is cool that the Facebook page said Burst will come out in Canada in September, excited for you guys who live there. Hopefully a US will follow.

They never said shipments would come in August haha. Still not getting my hopes up, but I'm pretty sure this one is the real deal.
Really interested in this "soft launch" thing they say they're doing. I have no doubt Hasbro is pushing for a worldwide release eventually, but what you guys are saying really intrigued me. Wether "soft launch" means Burst launches in Canada first, or maybe just a small line of product initially in North America, the Hype Train is rolling through the hype station faster than it ever has. The conductor of hype is blowing his hype horn with inevitable Beyblade goodness. I can't be more freaking excited.
I suspect we'll see stuff hit Canada and US around the same time. Nonetheless, looks like September is the real deal. Wonder if its TRU exclusive in US as well. I think Toys R Us and Hasbro partnered together on Beyblade could do some amazing stuff. I remember going to Pokémon League at Toys R Us as a kid and it was amazing.

But that's probably wishful thinking. At least the WBO is around. Smile
The Burst soft launch being TRU exclusive makes sense thinking about it. If I may compare it to train with face, ever since Mattel took over the brand, the wooden merch range became TRU exclusives in NA, so I'm guessing TRU must have some sort of precedence over Walmart, Target, etc.

Then again, Mattel makes at least somewhat sensible decisions with their releases, whereas Hasbro is... well, Hasbro. Either way, the stuff by Takara Tomy will be better. :P

No I could tell by the opaque render on the app pic long ago and also Hasbro usually does that; why the heck would Hasbro have the yellow feathers not be plain too if they were actually stickers? Only the wings were uncolored. This is what I based it on
1. excited to hear that Burst will be released in Canada in sept.
2. the link to the facebook page seems to be working for me.
3. Perhaps toysrus said on their page "We don't think it is released in the US at this time either!" is due to the fact that this page only represents toysrus Canada not the US so they can not speak on behalf of their US counterpart.
4. I don't like in the pic that the layers each have a letter in the middle to represent the layer (large V for valkyrie) I hope those won't be on the final product.
They had the letters in the middle since the beginning of the dual layers.
If it is true that Hasbro and TRU are partnering up, maybe there will be more TRU Beyblade events and exclusives. And hopefully they will be run more professionally like TT events.

Most likely TRU and Hasbro will be partner up and the events might stay the same

I think that it will be a timed exclusive. I really don't think Burst will only be sold at TRU.

I really hope they do a decent job. I think it'll be okay though.
Quick note about that render: Unite seems to lack it's rubber coating.

I'm prepared to say this render isn't indicative of the final design, being simply a marketing render. However, I'll hold my judgement for now.
