This just in: nothing has changed! People around the world are shocked. /s

Nothing in my local stores either. Figured I'd mention that at least. Hope they stick to the August schedule.

There's always hope hah. Smile

Well if anyone would have news he/she won't going to keep it secret and post here beylolahahaha

Unless they forget or are evil lol
You now, for the sake of the Western market(and younger western bladers), I think we should ban all TakaraTomy parts in the Hasbro metagame until Hasbro decides to release said parts, themselves.
Are you sure? We don't even know what's coming yet.
Boy hard to believe it took me a long time to even know this site existed when I began Beyblade when I was an 8 year old. Now I'm 21 and just now trying to get back into the Beyblade Scene after leaving it once the Metal Series appeared. I'm hoping I can get back into it once Burst hits store shelves.

I disagree, even if hasbro only releases dual layers, only two of the single layers are seriously competitive: valkyrie and deathscyther. Both either have dual layers of similar performance(V2 and O2 the case of Valkyrie) or exploitable flaws (deathscyther is easy to burst, valkyrie has wear issues). Gravity is a suitable replacement for Heavy, and most drivers only featured in the single layer system have been outclassed or re-released in dual layer beys. With this in mind, owning deathscyther and/or valkyrie will give players an edge over the competition, but they can still be outplayed by skilled dual-layer users. Additionally, the ease of buying hasbro beys over takara tomy beys will likely saturate the north-american meta with dual layers, meaning less players will be using single layers, and single layers will be less likely to be dominant.

I think we should wait and see what Hasbro releases before doing that.

You have to be willing to dish out the cash for the newest stuff. Just because the international releases are behind, doesn't mean the rest of us buying the Japanese releases need to be punished for it.
I'm gonna go to my local Toys R Us tomorrow and hopefully they have some info. I'll post here tomorrow of my findings after I get home. Hopefully they have something to tell me that will further the investigation of the actual release date, be it August or any other month. However, my theory is that they will postpone the release until closer to the holiday season because that's when parents and kids are buying the most toys, and I have a feeling that the new Hasbro Beyblade Burst will be on a lot of kids' toy lists.

That scares me

1. I'm dying of waiting
2. If it's on a lot of kids' toy lists, that means some or maybe all of the products will sell out as my parents don't instantly take me to the store to buy stuff, sometimes I have to wait a week. So I'm paranoid
EDIT: plus Beyblades is my one and only obsession. Anyone else obsessed with them or is it just a hobby for you guys?

It's really just a hobby for me, but I'm obsessing over Hasbro's release.
It's just a hobby for me because I don't believe in taking Beyblade too seriously. That said, I am still excited for Hasbro's release.
I'm kinda obsessed tbh...
I think I'm a bit obsessed with it, I mean, I'm trying to be different when competing like using Wing in a defense combo, or an unlikely part for attack. I've gotten Variable to work in my favor to at least tie 2:2 before losing during the last Virginia tournament.

I am also completely addicted to beyblade. It's almost the only thing I spend my work money on.

Also, I can't wait for hasbro's release because A. Cheaper alternatives to importing from Japan or buying from others in the U.S. B. I can just drive to the store and pick some up whenever I want to, as opposed to waiting 2-3 days from shopping online

Once I get more Burst beys, I'm gonna get into the competitive scene. I didn't really back in MFB because I was like 12 and scared of people lol. I wish there were more tourneys in my area though.
Whew I'm not alone. Goodnight, guys
Same as Ilinnuc, I want to get into the competitive scene as well. Cause now that Im older, I actually understand how these combos and creations work other than I built it cause it looks cool. With Burst as well, I somewhat feel its going to be a lot of fun due to the gimmick burst XD
Noooooo! My school starts tomorrow and burst still isn't out yet! Smithicide

Unlucky. School starts the 22nd for me
I'm obsessed with it to time and time but it's a hobby to me as well. :p and ah school.

Um... I graduated, but I'm not gonna brag about it. I don't like bragging very much.
