Yeah I always see that there is a new post and I always hope that it is news but it never is.

(Aug. 08, 2016  1:21 AM)Dracieleone Wrote: [ -> ]You now, for the sake of the Western market(and younger western bladers), I think we should ban all TakaraTomy parts in the Hasbro metagame until Hasbro decides to release said parts, themselves.

You have to be willing to dish out the cash for the newest stuff. Just because the international releases are behind, doesn't mean the rest of us buying the Japanese releases need to be punished for it.

I said Hasbro metagame, not the metagame as a whole.
What is the "Hasbro metagame"?

We will probably do some special events that disallow Japan-only parts, but our standard operating procedure will always be that all official parts are allowed.

That's basically what I'm trying to say. In a Hasbro-focused tournament, you can't use TakaraTomy parts unless they have a Hasbro variant. For example: You can't use a TakaraTomy Valkyrie layer, but you can still use a TakaraTomy Victory Valkyrie layer.
But we've never ever run a Hasbro-only tournament or established any kind of "Hasbro metagame," so you can understand the confusion from referring to something that doesn't currently exist.
It doesn't exist now, but it will.

Based on? It never existed for MFB. And it probably won't due to being unfair.

You say Hasbro Metagame as if it's actually a thing (it's not). I'm not sure why you would want to do this? The only possible reason is so that everyone would have access to the same parts but that's unfairly penalizing people for no reason.
I mean, the Hasbro metagame is a "thing" in terms of events that are actually run by Hasbro, which typically don't allow Japan-only parts, but that has nothing to do with us.
That's funny. I remember hearing discussion about a Hasbro metagame when mfb was out

Anyway, it's more about giving younger bladers a sporting chance in the competitive scene.
On this site or elsewhere?

I got that it would be to make it fairer for younger bladers but you seem to not want to acknowledge that in making it fairer for younger bladers your just making it unfair for ones that can buy takara products.

This site. I believe it was in the Hasbro hobby thread.
I guess "metagame" was wrong word. I think I should've said "format".
We've never had a Hasbro format, regardless.

Well then, this could be a new format; a "Beginner's Format", if you will.
I can't see any evidence that there's a demand for that though. Also isn't this getting off topic? I mean this is only about hasbro releases. I don't think a discussion on a possible hasbro format fits into that.

As I wrote on the previous page, we will probably do something involving Hasbro-only releases. But anyway, yes; let's keep this thread to discussing the toy release. If you have questions or ideas on how the WBO can adapt to this release, feel free to discuss in relevant areas Smile

Very well, let's discuss this later in a more appropriate thread.
So far I'm starting to lose hope in trying to find Beyblade Burst in my local Wal-Mart since so far since it's the only store within walking distance of my area and they haven't been getting anything in the system. I would go to a nearby Target or Toys R' Us in my area but unfortunately for me they are about 5 miles from where I live in Vegas.

It doesn't look like it's been released anywhere yet so it's far too early to lose hope. As for being too far to walk what about cycling or bus?

How many times have you checked?
I don't own a bike (Nor do I know how to use one.) and as for a bus I need to check that Ultra.

I've checked about 3 times. 2 last week on Monday and then Friday and this week today. Dracieleone.

How so?
1. I'm dying of waiting
2. If it's on a lot of kids' toy lists, that means some or maybe all of the products will sell out as my parents don't instantly take me to the store to buy stuff, sometimes I have to wait a week. So I'm paranoid
EDIT: plus Beyblades is my one and only obsession. Anyone else obsessed with them or is it just a hobby for you guys?

It's only a hobby for me. However, I am obsessed with seizing the means of production, and freeing the working class from capitalistic tyranny. I have a few main hobbies, Beyblade, Vinyl, and Video Games along with some other various media(movies, tv shows, literature).

Maybe you should limit your search to once a week.
I plan to Dracieleone. I plan on waiting til next Monday or Wednesday to check.
I know this is off topic but you don't need to always say their names, Jaden. Most of the time they'll know. At least abbreviate their name to like dleon or something

Why? It's totally normal to use someone's name in a post that's addressed to them. Please stay on-topic or we'll close the thread until we hear some confirmed news from a source.
