I'm really wondering what Tyros and Orpheus are
Looks like Hiro Morita was at HASCON? Gasp https://twitter.com/hiromorita_/status/9...0469306368

He included a picture of what seems to be the play/tournament area. I wonder what the 'tournament' actually was ...
Looks more like free play than a tournament

I was just kidding. I hadn't even posted pictures of it before even though I had it for months.

Yeah, but I'm pretty sure in zankye's video I saw a sign near the entrance that mentioned "tournament".
Apparentlly Tyros (Tyro was the name i could find) and Orpheus are both from greek religion. Tyro was a princess who married a king but loved a river god, and Orpheus was a Poet, Musician and a Greek prophet. This can only mean one thing. The people at hasbro know greek mythology better than i do.
Tyros looks like a filler for physic Phantom in my eyes, and orpheus looks like a mix between evil eyes beast and quad Quetzalcoatl layer.

The flame fx looks a lot like it, which is weird since they've named the Hasbro version already.
I'm willing to bet that Takara-Tomy will eventually release their own versions these two new seemingly Hasbro-exclusive Layers someday just like they did with Cloud/Torch and Crash/Midnight. Someone dig this post back up in a couple years and you'll see, ha.

Will do! But yeah, I always saw these new layers as the Burst equivalent to the MFB Legends wheel although these are original designed, I think? Only problem is the lack of cross compatibility.
i dont think tyros t2 is a replacement for phantazus p2 in any way it looks similar but no way is it a replacement hasbro still hasnt made polish yet
Honestly, at first I could not even spot what Orpheus people were talking about. That thing is just a Quad Quetzalcoatl copycat.

Quad Quetzalcoatl and Minoboros for some lines, mixed together...
Orpheus looks like it's shaped like a lyre.
The rubber in the drain Fannie layer is looking suspiciously different

Yes you're right on close inspection of the picture I saw that the layer has just paint instead of rubber but I think the blue attack point on fafnir is made of rubber.
It might just be a speculation though.

I looked really closely at it. You can see that the rubber part is green and separate. So the rubber has a blue stamp on it. Tongue_out nice touch there Hasbro!

This is relevant I guess. Will beyblade take a hit from this?
Realistically speaking, all western toylines would take a major hit from Toys R Us going bankrupt. We'll have to see whether anything more comes of this over the coming week really.

If Toys R Us goes under than we are f**ked
Australia gets new beyblade burst a bit later
HOLY MOLY my dad told ME when I was younger that Toys R Us will go bankrupt but that was when the company was COMPLETELY FINE!
I doubt ToysRus is actually going bankrupt anytime soon. For starters, they filed for "Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection ". Keyword being protection. This protection will allow the company to restructure the business so it can payback the money they owe.

Restructuring the business is a good opportunity for them to evaluate how they change and grow their business model.
With online retailers such as Amazon, eBay, and brand sites themselves, offering consumers: conveanance, cheaper prices, fast shipping, etc.. It's not surprising that large retailers such as ToysRus are struggling.

As for Beyblade, if Takara and Hasbro are concerned with sales, they could perhaps distribute Beyblade to other retailers.

As buyers, go out and support your local stores (small and large). Smile
i modded my nepstrius's slopes then i put heavy needle on it and it is freaking crazy recording a video rn
