The legends festival is part of the anime canon.
Filler episodes are used by anime and other TV shows to extend the time between the individual plot points of the major story arcs, or between the end of one major story arc and the beginning of another.
I believe the Legends Festival did do this, did it not? Extended the time till Hyuga and Hikaru vs Lain, and Shu vs Lain was also heavily delayed.

The 1st Shu vs Lain battle has. It should be in this volume. The second one just came out this month.

Fillers usually have no impact on the plot, however the legends festival did have an impact.
Btw my friends physical volume of the corocoro with the chapter is expected to come on the 17th (in about 4 days) so then I'll be able to give some more detailed info

The final aiga was more stronger than shu the fact that he can deflect phi ultimate move just sump it all up we couldn't say shu is better than valt because he beat aiga once after aiga beats valt since that battle was a showcase battle unlike episode 28 where it isn't a showcase battle

Shu beat Aiger and two episodes later Valt defeated Hearts who was throwing Aiger around like a rag doll. In fact that was Shu's only win during the season. So I don't think Shu's win against Aiger supports him being stronger than Valt given that Valt defeated an even stronger blader than Aiger two episodes later.
