He’s essentially beat Aiger. The final point was purely based off luck.
We havent seen a match between Lui and Valt since Turbo. So now is some good time for payback for Valt even tho I feel like he will get a ringout

Technically training more doesn’t directly correlate to training harder

He swung through some vines, did that one thing with the logs and water in the manga, probably lifts some weights, that’s it. He hasn’t been serious enough to train harder for something like in Evolution for  a long while. Just daily routine.

The implication is clear. That he trains hard. This was stated in Turbo.

Lui is in no way a Ryuga rip off. there are plenty of angry bladers, with Lui actually having a bit more depth.

Angry, cocky, acts tough tries way to hard like he’s a strong blader he’s a rip off

Lui is still pretty good even if he is a counterpart.

Lui has more depth to his character rather than Ryuga whos just a kwel dude with dark beyblade
Lui is a very hard working main character,no matter how cocky he has trained a lot

Considering the fact he trains to get to wear he is bc of the fact he had dark power he wanted to redeem himself so he did in the events of metal masters Ryuga works very hard and I’ll admit so does Lui but compared to Ryuga that’s just you being a fanboy of Lui not only that we’re talking about a Guy who was able to put fear in the legendary bladers and were talking about Lui who lost a 4v1 against lean in the legends festival plus the fact his cockiness went downhill after Lean bodied him and Lean spit in his face like he’s a joke but then again it was in the manga but the anime did it to but not like how the manga did it

Who is fanboying lui i just saying that lui has a better characteristic in general than ryuga. Lui is complicated guy with skill on his hands while ryuga is a almost-perfect dude

Can’t say I disagree. Perfectionist characters are lame and one dimensional. That is, unless they have an origin (Brooklyn).

What characteristics does Lui have other then pulling on a rope and getting smacked around

Lui changed a bit after he loses to shu(red eye) in season 2,after that,he respect those that have beat him
While yes he is cocky(aren't most blader just cocky?)
Lui characteristics is interesting, plus character development is good(imo)but i believe this isn't the right place to argue about character and their characteristics

Bro, Lui was straight memeing in the legends festival, like look at his expression he was just there for fun, that’s it. Compare that to season 1 and 2 where it looked like he actually cared about him winning, now he’s just in it for the thrill. It even reflects in his partner choice, he picked Drum over Free, the safest bet would’ve been him and Free, since the 2 already know they are good team mates, and work well off of each other. Instead Lui picked Drum, which although it wasn’t that shocking at all, shows that Lui isn’t all for pure victory anymore, he’s just trying to have fun in his own way, and int his case I think he wants to get better at playing with people aside from just Free.

In season 1 the he got visibly frustrated whenever his matches would not go his way, and in season 2 he remained mostly the same, but this time was more cockier. By season 3 things changed, you could tell that the way he treated Aiga and the others was very different from how he treated Valt in his first encounter, he was, dare I say it, nicer. Lui has grown up, and although he is a legendary blader his battles are no longer for pure victory, they are for enjoyment. When he lost to Lean, he didn’t get made at all, he just shrugged it off. He doesn’t call out people for being bad at the game, he is over all a nicer person.

This slow development that only really became truly apparent this season is way better than, Ginka beat me so I’m good now. Lui is a better character purely because the writers discreetly explored him, changing his character ever so slightly by each passing season. Mean while Ryuga lost once and suddenly isn’t evil anymore. Heck after Lui lost against shu for the first time in season 2, he was frustrated, disappointed, and angry, but he used those emotions to improve himself, by season 3, 2 years have past and clearly something was different. Meanwhile Ryuga just remained a cool guy, which isn’t a bad thing, buts certainly not as interesting as seeing that annoying kid from gym class actually learn he isn’t that important and accept it. Lui has really changed over the years. So has Ryuga through the course of metal fight, but in my opinion Lui’s character development far outshines ryuga’s, and people seem to forget that character development doesn’t equal stronger blader, it just means better person.
All hail those who can actually express their opinions in a proper paragraph.
Im happy that jerk finally found why blading is fun.
as someone who likes ryuga compared to lui his not more interesting.  ryuga never really change till the end he just stay yes I'm cool I'm strong I'm the dragon emperor bla bla all the time.  the only time ryuga got a development in character was when kenta stick to him like a glue which why he showed something different.  and the whole lui got demolish by lane let's not act like ryuga did jack against rago his pride give him the most one sided fight an beyblade history instead of working with his fellow legendary bladers to beat rago he went own  his own cause oh I'm dragon emperor thing again and look at how it ended for him . the best thing he did during the rago arc was giving kenta his power (ironically kenta was doing what ryuga wasn't with that power lol). lui at least did good against lane during their first match and can actually work well with other bladers and is actually having fun now he actually learn something about that pride of his after red eye shu give him a taste of his own medicine.  ryuga needs kenta besides him see a bit of character change while lui Doesn't need a character with him to see his actually different now he started as a ryuga wanna be but outshine ryuga at the when it comes to character growth and as a blader (and no I'm not talking about strength ). but ofcourse that a just my opinion I know how much of a muse ryuga is to the hardcore metal saga fan his perfect and invincible for them.
Valt should do Brave Flash again
I do think Valt and Rantaro would lose to Shu and Lain if they ever battled

Rantaro would most likely go straight for Lain as revenge for Ranjiro but be struggling. Valt would come to help but het blocked and locked in a clash with Shu. Valt can get past Shu to attack Lucius, however a quickly counterbreak from Shu can burst Rantaro, who's wide open. Then obviously Valt can't beat Shu and Lain in a 2 v 1.

I don't think anyone thought that Valt and Rantaro would beat Shu and Lean by regular means. Maybe if the latter team had trouble synchronizing.

To be honest, the odds are nobody can beat Shu and Lean apart from Hyuga and Hikaru.

that's probably why the pair valt with rantaro and aiga with ranjiro (no disrespect to the kiyama bros) cause their kind of the weak link (in no way i mean the weak bladers cause their defently strong) the anime writers knew what they were doing with these paring.  that aside am I the only one who low-key wish the pair the kiyama bros together instead double glide tornado would fun as heaven .
By virtue of how this last arc has been structured, the only ones that will probably beat Shu and Lane will be the bros.

Forget virtues, by beyblade anime ruling the only ones who can legitimately beat Shu and Lane are Hyuga and Hikaru or Rantaro and Valt since they are main characters. Once you factor everything in it gets reduced to the bros like you said.
