I don't think that's they issue free is the only legend or character that hasn't burst on screen at all . everyone else got burst at least ones even lane so it would be kind of ridiculous if his the only one not to burst in this season and against lane. that's why zeutron called him a writter pet which I honestly agree even in lost free somehow look good the make it seems like he got a surprised attack and that's why he lost

I was joking about the embarassment part lol. But seriously this is the first time a non-protagonist loses to the antagonist this much (Unless your counting Valt, Aiga, and Drum).
Geez even Hikaru and Hyuga didnt lose to Lane that much (about 2 or 3 losses to him as of now)
Even in Lui's losses he displayed some power. Not a fan of his way he went down, but he's still a powerful blader. I think for the most part we know that Lane is walking plot armor for this tournament.

Y'all forget Fafnir absorbs impacts? Even if he suffers a game ending blow it can still absorb enough of an impact to not Burst. Bursting or not Bursting doesn't even matter now anyways, we're having 1 point games.

That's fair enough. Tbh Free's always been somewhat of a writer's pet, at least in the anime (only character I can think of Aiga never beat in Cho-Z).
