That’s what I heard during the time around when the contest was being announced. I wouldn’t be able to bring it up, but I believe it was an official statement. Could be wrong tho.
If I remember correctly, one if the official (like Hiro Morita) Just made a small comment about it on Twitter, and I can’t be asked to go through and translate all those tweets. Either way Valt was just supposed to be a strong guy to look up to, not the guy it beat or anything, so he didn’t need to battle that much. And Shu has his own BeyClub to run (a big official one, not just the beigoma academy one).

many competitive players would say that Brave is a must-have . I just wrote its Wiki draft with opinions from several Bladers, and Shindog specifically said Brave is a must-have as of right now. It doesn't have explosive attack power like Judgement, but its Stamina, weight, and solid contact points allow it to be a good all-around pick. Plus, What would TT even do for a new Valkyrie within Sparking? Springs to make a worse Valkyrie? Canonically, Valt would also have no reason to replace Brave Valkyrie within Sparking because its gimmick is a combination of his God Valkyrie and his brother's Screw Trident, so he's probably more attached to it than any other Valkyrie he's had.

Its been good, but not to amazing. I wouldn't say its outclassed....but there are better options. One thing Brave does suffer alot from is stamina though.

It seems like it may have some defensive use like winning Valkyrie if used with xtend+. The rubber isn’t all bad in defensive equalization in opposite spin from my testing but in same spin it does have poor knockout resistance on xtend+. I have also heard it’s a fairly good choice for attack.

The shape of Cho-Z Valkyrie it had a lot of recoil maybe even more, soft rubber on the contact points, metal on the wings. Maybe it's broken by Lucifer.
honestly brave isn't a must have if you have other good attackers. On the anime side of this (since this is a anime thread) Brave is pretty much the best, if Valt was given the opportunity to fight Lane, he would win no doubt.

Season 4:Goes to blading events and stuff like that to inspire young bladers, and also helps them
Season 5:Is an inspiration for people all around the world, Helps Hyuga and Hikaru with advice.

In one episode he spent the whole day teaching Hyuga how to bond with his bey and in the dream tag battle episode he helped Hikaru train and encouraged him to continue fighting by telling him that as long as he loves beyblade he would be fine (because that’s how bey bonds are created). Valt has likely had the biggest impact on the brothers alongside Rantaro and he has believed in them from the start.
Valt is also a central part of Hyuga's character arc. Hyuga and Hikaru want to both beat the legends, but Hyuga feels overshadowed by Hikaru since he's better. Valt helps him train and now that he is his own blader and can get strong as and even stronger than his brother.

When did Valt train Hyuga?
he didn't train him directly, he helped him bond with his bey which leads to training (the more you train the more you understand your bey). Im pretty sure Hyuga did also battle in that episode as well (or a episode extremely close to that one).

I don't think you're looking at his interactions closely. Valt was the inspiration for Hikaru and Hyuga to get sparking beys. In addition to that, he helped both Hyuga and Hikaru develop stronger bonds with they're beys. He's encouraged them in they're blading journey. Valt is far from useless, he's integral.

I know he kinda does stand around a bit, but come on. You're exaggerating at this point. Valt is always around and is a key point in the Burst series. Don't exact know if we've been watching the same thing. You can have your own opinion, but still Valt does help the brothers out.

standing around a bit is not a bad thing tho as well. He has stuff to do rather than just constant battles.
He doesn't have to be battling every other minute. But every time he appears, he's doing something, wether that be encouraging or training.
