He gets hit by it. It clearly shows that. Fafnir then escapes afterwards. In Surge they're about the same level. It wouldnt be able to endure being hit so long.

Not necessarily. The force from the attack activated the move and it blitzed out the way. In fact because this hypothetical infinite dive has more force it would activate nothing break even quicker. Giving an immediate boost of speed and power. In addition if Free wanted to, he could activate nothing break on his own without using the force from an attack. And as we saw from his tag battle with Lui he can depress the nothing tip very quickly.

You're missing that Infinite Dive has a lot more power than Z Dive. Even activating it faster it wouldn't survive. Aloes you just described what I said in the start lol. It clearly didn't avoid the attack but I'll just forget about what you said earlier.

I think you confused what I said earlier. I was saying that getting hit by Infinite Dive would activate nothing break and allow it to avoid the rest of the hit. Not that it would avoid the hit altogether. Though I as I stated in the post right before this one, Free has that option as well.
Aiger would probally lose to Free again in Surge by a survivor finish
