Normal: Opponent goes up and naturally comes out
Optimal Tornado: Ally safely is raised into the air and then dropped at the right angle
No random twisting and twirling around from being forced onto the Tornado. Even if you wanna argue that would still work, Ranjiro's extra training would still cause the Tornado to be stronger than normal.
Being able to do that requires 1: Skill and precision no Tornado's have demonstrated before and 2: The actually power to carry that out.
His training would cause his tornado to be stronger than normal, but Free has been training during this time as well, and he was already stronger than Ranjiro to begin with. Still nothing special that Fafnir couldn't bust through with Nothing Break.
Free barely trains. Either way I think you’re severely underestimating Ranjiro but we’ll see when the episode airs. But I think we can both agree. They won’t make a character come back after a long wait while they’ve been training for them to be the same strength.

Free never training is dumb. We saw him train so much that he injured his body and you’re saying he doesn’t?
Free does train but we never have time to see it. They dont show a short montage of his training cause the show aint focused around him.

Either way wind gusts are much more different than beys in that it’s much more than just “Haha my wind is stronger than your Bey ” or the other way around. If Ranjiro can create drag no amount of nothing break can get Fafnir instantly out of that like you seem to think.

I said Free barely trains. Most times he’s lounging around. When Silas came to him he was just chilling by his deer and deer baby friends. Don’t twist my words.
I know but they really don’t care about Free. He’s just a character they make win all the time but get no development in sparking. I like Free as a character. I loved when they tried to take out Free because they thought that Fumiya would replace him in the fan rankings.

It's been stated on several occasions that Free trains hard. It was even said that he trains he body more than anyone so that's inaccurate. In addition we've seen him training with Fafnir on several occasions. Ranjiro is good but he's no Free.
Boi the only one who doesnt be training on those monster machines is Aiga

When your stated to train more than anyone out of the whole team at BC Sol, that's pretty hardcore training.
The training we’ve see him do in Surge is just more of a daily routine if anything. He wasn’t training harder for the tournament, just training to stay fit.

Technically training more doesn’t directly correlate to training harder
He swung through some vines, did that one thing with the logs and water in the manga, probably lifts some weights, that’s it. He hasn’t been serious enough to train harder for something like in Evolution for a long while. Just daily routine.

Free doesn’t need to get stronger anyways, he’s already fairly skilled and powerful and it’s not like he’s actively striving to be better than Valt or anything. He does need to stay in physical and blading shape though.

That’s a character quirk. It happens when he gets riled up or anxious. The smiling is also a thing that can happen to people irl. The corners of their face tense up.

I think we can agree that putting our bias aside and hoping everyone other than the bros and Lane are equal in this tournament is the best way to go. That way, we will get the best battles.
