But yeah, that's pretty sad. It's a shame to see such a majestic looking creature so lifeless and tainted.
A dog dies and people cry.
Then they go home and eat dead cow for dinner.
Unless you're a vegetarian of course in which case that's a different matter but I was just proving a point. I feel for animals dying but the thought that a lot of people eat animals and that they're kept in horrible farms etc. yet nobody seems to care about that, which saddens me more.
Also, I thought this was pretty funny.

That's the food chain, I guess.
Though I agree that animals being mistreated in some places is really cruel and unfair.

I don't want to go into a debate on this but seriously?! It's called emotional attachment. I have an emotional attachment to my dog, it's part of our family. I don't have an emotional attachment to my steak.
Plus, people don't like seeing death, I'm pretty sure you would see the same reaction if the cow was rammed in the car. It's a pretty lousy way to go.

Why's this?
If someone said "aww, that poor animal is dead *cry cry* now lets go home and eat this dead one without a care in the world" do you not think that's a little ironic?
EDIT: People can be emotionally attached to other animals than common pets but yes, I see your point now about people not wanting to see death, sorry.
I'd rather they ate the one they just saw get killed. I mean it's even worse that they'd waste it.
But really, do we
have to have this descussion now? The thread was all happy with avatars and hearts and blader dj and such.....

It's not ironic if you're actually an adult with the capacity to think about things.
My dog is a part of my family. We spend all of our time together. I do not live with all of the animals that I consume. I don't encourage poor conditions for the animals I consume -- I buy a lot of local and organic meat to combat this. An animal dying and an animal being slaughtered for food are two entirely different things; all omnivores and carnivores kill other animals for food. As humans, we tend to not eat them while they're alive, which is a step up from a lot of other meat-eating animals, at least!
So no, a horse being hit by a car in an accident is not the same as a cow being slaughtered for food. Please stop posting.

Is everyone looking forward to easter?
i don't really care about easter
i kind of stopped caring when my grandparents stopped giving me disney movies every year
How can you say that ??? What about the Easter Bunny ??? XD
Nah, I'm not really, I prefer sweets to chocolate (especially chocolate from Easter eggs, I just dont seem to like it as much in egg shaped form =p).
It would be pretty awesome if there was a MFB hidden in one of my Easter eggs though XP
Quote:I just dont seem to like it less
What?
I sometimes ask for things instead of chocolate. It often melts this time of year anyways. =/
Plus, if you go to shops after easter, they have such cheap chocolate. I got 6 packs of creme eggs for under 50p a few years back. xD
I ended up giving loads away because I got sick of them (I bought like 10 packs)

It would also be a pretty cool idea for a Face Contest. WBO/MFB easter hunt XD Brad should do that, it'd be fun
