I'm 20 and I just got one this year. I don't think it's that big of a deal if you live in a town where you can either walk or take mass transit anywhere you need to go. Unfortunately, I don't live in a such a town
i failed my test the first time because i thought there were shoulders on the road but there wasn't. and because i'm asian

I like was in the furthest right lane and I had to turn left so I thought "I should turn into the furthest lane, but it might be a shoulder." Then he was yawning like 50 times because I was driving so slow so I was like carp it and turned into the wrong lane
and i didn't like the fact that he could barely fit into the car.

Wait, so you turned and went into a shoulder, or you prepared to turn and went into a shoulder?
The thing was that there weren't any shoulders. That's what threw me off since I can't recall ever driving in any roads without them.

GAAAHHH THIS IS NOT A BLOG
You can talk about stuff that's happening in your life, but don't post it as if it's some play-by-play post. This is Random Thoughts, not Random Blogs About Your Life.

My boyfriend got the exact same crack in the exact same place last week. Weird!
(mac's are laaaame)
Alice, there is absolutely no denying there are horrific build quality issues with the MacBooks. To be completely honest, I was more excited about owning a Mac before I owned one.
The issues I've had with this machine in a year:
Top case cracked twice
Bottom case cracked twice
Monitor backlight disconnected
HDD died, lost all my information
I just got off the phone with Apple, was hoping they'd replace the machine considering how much BS I've had with it, but since I am (A MONTH) out of warranty because I didn't pay the $300 to extend the warranty from one year to three years all they will do is replace the part. I am pretty furious.
Eurgh, that sucks balls Brad. From what I've experienced/seen of MacBooks and Macs in general, I can safely say I never want to own one. Mike has had his for about 2 years and he's had a lot of the same problems as you; the crack in the surface, his hard-drive has failed
twice, his mains lead decided to stop working so he bought another, until that one also broke a couple of weeks ago. Lame.

This has nothing to do with Macs but sliysl;id;as WATCH IT:

It's the best mimic of the bird world; because this particular one lives in a part of the world where trees are being cut down, it's actually started to mimic the sounds of chainsaws and saws cutting through bark. It's unbelievable, it sounds so real.
Agh, Brad, you're making me scared to get a Mac now.

I was actually questioning if that was real towards the end! That is crazy!

Thats total carp. I had No idea it was that bad. email/complain forever, I would if I bought it new.
Though my friend has a brand new macbook, he says their optical drives can munch/total disks to make them unreadable.
// did it to one cd rom already.
Also iPhones are cracking.
my opinion of apple has shifted allot since reading your post.
still i think you have a case because those repair might be warrentied, as they have FAILED, thus the repair weren't really repairs.
