terrible user interface. Most peoples libararies aren't that well organized or tagged...plus I don't want to reach toward my neck to do anything. it looks well manufactured though, I'll give it that.
plus propreitary carp headphones.
you need to be a pretty big apple tool to buy this.

Let's not forget this is the iPod Shuffle. Either way, I think the UI is quite intuitive. However at the same time, the normal UI was just as good, if not better.

why couldn't they have used a temperature sensitive surface on the device instead so at least you could navigate from in your pocket and not reqiure propertiary headphones.

Everyone in my school got a note in last period about 5 minutes before school let out after the principal said something about the note to the teachers over the intercom. Anyway, the note said that there was a kid in school that had gotten caught smuggling a gun into school and putting in his locker, planning to shoot someone, obviously. They were going over the surveillence cameras and saw it. They conviscated it and arrested the kid (freshman, typical XD). Freakin scared me to death when I realized it was our school (the note didn't specify even though it was farely obvious it was us). Our school has a reputation for being a good, fairly clean school (besides, upperclassman here are wusses), so this was pretty crazy. I've been like 0.0 all day. Thank god they caught him.
Oh, and some guy is gonna help me get the hang of FL and preview my songs, so they don't suck anymore.
Summary: Freshman tried to shoot up my skool!!!(Lazies >.>)

Woah! I would have freaked if i had known the guy. I'd be on the edge praying he's not gonna kill me, he's not gonna kill me... XD The worst thing that has happened at my school is that a supposedly a armed man went through ....when we went into lockdown my friends are all saying a bunch of racist junk like "Chris they found you..hide!" or "Hey Edwin did you get rid of that marijuana you had in your locker yesterday?"
(Edwin had previously brought "marijuana" to school and just randomly yelled "Who wants marijuana!?" during passing time a couple months ago. It wasn't actually marijuana just grass and carp. He got suspended for a week for it too.)
ROFL. But yeah, our school is really big too(about 2000 kids) so news travels pretty slow. I found out it was some freshman when some guys (freshman) were talking about him on the bus. Bet they were scared as hell.

Yeah, the whole point of the new Shuffle is to make it usable without actually touching the iPod. Even though you have to use the headphones Apple includes, I think the people who would be annoyed with this would be in the minority. In the last generation they gave it the clip, which was the first step towards making it a truly portable and easily accessible mp3 player, and now they've taken it another step further.
It may not be as good as the previous UI, but it is much more convinient now for things like running.

they are awesome. got mine for 10$. only a 1gb. but still. ive got alot of friends that have them too. they are pretty nice.

haha yeah. I was contemplating posting a pic saying its the best clip made when I first posted.
Kei I don't think your point stands. while your running you have to tap or hold one of your headphone wires while moving up and down. I don't see how thats better than holding the first clip in your fist.
