Babar was a popular childrens book/television show about an elephant who's mother got killed and had to fend for himself, eventually he became king and married a childhood friend (i'm a bit sketchy on the details because I haven't seen it in ages).

I remember Babar, but I never really watched it as a kid. Only when nothing else was on.
I knew about Babar but I never watched it because I wasn't interested in it but I won't say it is rubbish because I can't say that, I don't have the right to say that and it may well have been the best kids thing on back in those days.

Oh hell no. TMNT original > * The original made the out to be what they are: teenagers. They goof off, eat pizza, and fight retarded enemies with a really bizarre plot to follow it. It's awesome how Shredder isn't actually some hot shot in the original cartoon, but more like the Scar of mutants...surrounded by idiots...

TMNT 2K3 follows the comic series, and is based on it rather then making up character traits, plot lines, and just doing general nonsense like the 80's series. Heck, the live action movies (ok, maybe not the third) follow the source material better then the 80's show.
And lol at saying my opinion is horrible. 2k3 is widely accepted as being the much better series.
I'll give you all this, 80's TMNT is better then the horrible live action 90's series. The same series that Peter Laird (one of the co-creators of TMNT) has gone to extreme lengths to erase that series from the face of the earth.
