The light had turned red, and I started crossing, then right when I'm in the middle of the street, the lights change green, with no warning (usually the walk sign changes to a blinking stop sign as a warning before the lights turn green; this did not occur).
I managed to get to the VERY thin yellow dividers, and then two giant trucks came whizzing by, with me inbetween them. Had they been a little closer to each other, I'd have been a bloody mess of flesh and broken bones.
Haven't been there since.
Wow thats the first scenario I imagined, by far the scariest. Oncoming trucks on both sides.

Yeah, I've never been that scared in my life. I literally got weak in the knees.
The particular area I was in, is known to have faulty lights though. I've just never had lights change with no warning before.
