Eh it's what ever. I just don't like being called white >_>

Weeeelllllllllllllllllll

in other news, I got like 6 cokes out of the vending machine at my apartments for the price of one.

umm..just pointing out that not all 'black people are 'african americans'..... so that's not really politically correct to say either.

Is there any good anime/manga that I should be watching/reading right now? Smile
In the end it does matter, even if you are green. The thing that matters is that you are a someone who lives and has feelings, unless your evil, of course.
I totally agree with you.

naturally i'm a)talking about blacks in the US and b) about blacks not living in africa. i believe the "correct" name for blacks born and raised in places other than africa or america is still "african american". then again, i could be wrong and toto is a lying carp
The term African-Americian actually only refers to people of black race who live in the U.S. but who were orginally from Africa. Smile
That was such fun. Explaining to my grandpa, who has alzheimers, how to change his home page to msn with internet explorer 7 >_>
Don't they come from places like africa and that in the first place a very long time ago?
yeah i guess.
They were originally from Africa generations ago.

From an atheist's, like me, point of view we all came from Africa and were all originally "black" and through evolution lost the melanin in our skin due to not needing it in places like Europe and Asia

Makes sence to me.
Yeah I've heard of that theory.
Smith
I was on the closing shift at work, and about 5 minutes after I was scheduled to lock up, this woman walks in (I was busy dealing with some other things, so I forgot to lock all the doors.)

I figured since it wasn't such a hassle to serve her, I asked what she wanted.
She wanted some stuff that we didn't have, so she was pretty pissy.
Then she finally settled on hot chocolate, so I made it for her, rather good one too.

I put it in a paper cup, and put it on the counter, she paid and everything seemed alright.
"Well, where is it?"
"excuse me?"
"Where's the drink I just ordered?"
I pointed to the cup sitting on the counter.
"Excuse me? What is that?"
"What you ordered"
"Why isn't it in a ceramic mug?"
"Because I'm currently closing up"
"That doesn't make sense"
So I explained how since I was closing up, she had to have a paper cup, because she can't just take a glass mug home with her.
Well, her reaction was "But... why can't I have a mug with it?"
"Because I'm closing"
"But WHY can't I have it in a mug?"
"Because we're closed, and we don't give out mugs"
"But I'm GOING TO DRINK IT HERE"
"But mam, I have to lock the doors and clean up"
"I HAVE A RIGHT TO STAY HERE, I PAID FOR IT. DON'T DENY ME MY RIGHTS"

At this point, I went with the cowards way and just gave up, poured it into a mug and gave it to her.
carp left a gigantic mess at the table she sat at.

Smith I feel like carp..

On a positive note, my Club Nintendo DS Game/Stylus case arrived.

you have no idea what you are talking about

we were coming out of an ice age when man came out of africa. the ones that didn't migrate to europe or NA--places with cooler temps--had to genetically adapt to their new, harsher (warmer) environment. we didn't "lose" melanin...those who stayed GAINED it. that's evolution dude. getting into the specifics of genetic drift and vitamin D production is far too complex to succinctly explain here ... but to say we "lost" melanin is just so factually incorrect.

you seem to have a weird fetish with being black in some fashion. cool beans, but don't start talking about things you don't really know what you're talking about

P.S. the out of africa theory is not an atheistic platform...it's a scientific one. holy carp evan just please stop talking

Can atheists not be scientific as well? I don't have a fetish of being black either. I'm proud of my native american heritage. There is a lot of proof of homo sapiens coming from africa.
yes but you can't just merge atheist and scientific views ...

and of course i recognize the out of africa theory and homo sapiens coming from africa. i was just talking about your pretty laughable melanin statement.
Getting tired of seeing commercials for My Bloody Valentine 3D.

"Woah, fake fire never looked so real!!!11!!oneone!!!11!!!"

Sorry to hear about your troubles at work, Crimson. Unhappy

They really need to get some better rewards on Club Nintendo. I have just enough coins for the case right now, but I really don't feel as if it is worth it, considering the amount of merchandise you have to purchase to reach 600 coins.
