In case you're wondering, those words were "carp you" Which probably wouldve gotten me a warning, am I right?

what he said was valid

this isn't your personal blog and you can't carp people out when they call you out on your ambiguous and/or ridiculous comments

maybe your time would be better spent at livejournal than here if you want to talk in detail about your personal life

At the end of the day, if that's all he had to say about it, then he shouldn't have said anything at all.
It only causes arguements.
And besides, it was a random though, In a random thoughts topic.
So It's abiding by the rules and I'm doing nothing wrong, so I don't see a problem.

Oh, Fox - what won't you do.

Not surprised Keeanu was chosen. Emma Watts (President of Production at Fox) loves that guy. My friend Sarah (Emma's sister) says their father didn't care for The Day the Earth Stood Still, and I joked with her that he should phone Emma, reprimanding her for it and scream out, "Make it again!"

oh shut the hell up, you're the one that causes arguments, not anyone else

moreover you're in no position telling people here what they can and can't say

No offence May but you do answer back a lot. I mean everyone's entitled to their opinions but as far as I can tell you do tend to voice yours a lot and not backdown. And whilst in many situations that can be a good thing sometimes it's better to just back down rather than carrying on and letting disagreements become arguments. You're smart so I'm sure you know that.
I've only been on here a for a while but you seem like a good person and I don't want you to get banned because of silly arguments. Unhappy So maybe you should calm down a bit sometimes?
It takes two people to make an arguement at the end of the day. So It also takes two people to calm down, as well as back down and come to an agreement to stop. Which people here don't agree with eachother, so that doesn't happen.

Well if one person just stopped posting I'm sure the argument would stop. Uncertain
I'm usually that person. I hate confrontation as I don't like to see people sad.......hence my above post. Unhappy
It really doesn't, because people bring it back up later on.

I also dislike confrontation, but as my usual saying in life is "Some things just cannot be helped"

This is not one of those things if I'm right. If everyone ignored stupid posts then they'd probably stop happening along with needless arguments.

Possibly with a few exceptions but you get what I'm saying.

Please, don't let this board get back to the flaming similar to what it was like before. =/

Maybe it gets brought up again because you make no effort to not be obnoxious, or repent for all the dumb carp you've said/done.
If you dislike confrontation so much, than stop being so goddamn confrontational and try backing down without being massively preachy or backseat-modding.

Regardless of how true or untrue that maybe, somehow I don't think that's gonna help......Pinching_eyes_2

You don't like the snow?! I love the snow.....I didn't get to see any proper snow last year - I was pretty upset......I think you're lucky. ^w^
Snow is pretty but, I hat when it numbs up my feet. Unhappy
Being in an onsen while it's snowing is beautiful.
Snow is awesome. Oh, and maybe this belongs in the politics religion type thread but I worry about the world seeing as someone insulted me FOR BEING WHITE recently.

On a lighter note, I don't think religious hatred exists at all in my area which is reasonably nice. =]

Please, you sound like the Jehovah's witnesses that knock my door telling me to repent for all the bad carp i've done.

Last time I "Backed down" from an arguement, I was called a coward. And last I checked, no one is appreciative of a comment like that.
As as Yruahippo said, No it doesn't help what you just said.

As for you Arthur. Keep going, you're making my evening that much more hilarious.

Nobody believes that you're laughing when you post serious things with something followed by that.

Everyone, stop flaming. This isn't worth fighting over on a BOARD. Keep it calm. =S

What annoys me is how we have to stop saying even the normal stuff. Like somehow, it's bad to call people black.....but that's not offensive it's what they are! So confusing......
Oh and how we have to change things we've always done. Primary examples are singing Baa Baa Rainbow Sheep because black is offensive and not having nativity plays because Muslims find it offensive. ¬_¬ I'm all for ethnic diversity and whatever but really, there comes a point.....

If we can't say they're black what DO we call them? o.O

Baa Baa Rainbow Sheep? LOL. Well, my life has always been riddled with people forcing me what to do.

My mum told me the other day, and I kinda faintly remember it, that when I was in nursery class the teacher kept telling me to read picture books and play in the sand. It was only when a supply teacher went to my mum and said "How come he just read an 80 page chapter book to me?!" that she said "Yeah, they just tell him to play with plasticine. Idiots."

Couldn't afford for my private schooling. Idiotic public schools. =/

Why are you addressing me by my legal name? Furthermore, I think you're clearly more invested in these "arguments" than any of us...

Fact of the matter is you say a lot of annoying carp that pisses people off and act like you've done nothing wrong. At least I know I'm an annoying prick sometimes; you don't seem to be able to ascertain this, however.

I think we're supposed to describe them by the things that make them different - like they're wearing a hat - without being discriminate.

And lol. I went to a school a like that. In the end I went slightly insane from the pointlessness of it all......but's thats a whole other story......Pinching_eyes_2
can we vote people off the isl-..err board ?
Can't you just leave it guys? =/

It drowns the fun conversations out. Imagine you go to a board and think "random thoughts, sounds fun" click it and see this. Would you join that board? =[
