Why not?

Say the bus gets into an accident. Would you rather go flying across the bus, or would you rather have a bar you could steady yourself with?

Hmm

Trains are also very very loud and, believe it or not, you still feel bumps as you go over the tracks.

Well with me at least it'd be more of a case of flying across the bus and rolling across the floor vs. starting to fly across a bus and getting a metal bar in the face.

Plus I don't think trains are particularly loud. And they don't go over the bumps to badly (or not the ones I go on anyways), it's more of a rythmic swaying. Like how you would rock a baby to sleep.

You act like the bars purposefully jump out in front of you to smack you in the face lol

And how bad are the roads near you? I mean, for my school bus (since I can't legally drive alone until about two months from now), the only real bumps are caused by my crazy bus driver who always makes turns too tightly and goes over the curb, which isn't aided by his constant speeding

They do. Truly, they do. 0_0

And I don't think they're particularly bad. Buses just have a way bouncing up and down.......and then there's the tight turns........OH WAIT. I know what it is. They start and stop constantly. They can't just wait for the car in front to move, they have to go forward like a metre, stop, and then go forward another metre, stop, etc. And then this continues for the majorit of the journey.
And for me that's get hit in the face by bar, get hit in the back of the head by seat, get hit in the face by bar, get hit in the back of the head by seat, get hit in the face by bar, get hit in the back of the head by seat and so and so on.
Lol XD the valleys buses here make me wish there were no bars since the seats at one part of the bus are high up so that your knees are touching the bars of the one in front, the bus braked really fast one day, my knees went right into them and one dislocated. I was not a happy bunny.

and urgh, today on the bus made me have an even bigger hatred for old people, There was someone trying to get off the bus with a person in a wheel chair, and instead of waiting for them to get off, they tried to push past as they were getting on, giving them evils as if they had the right of way.
I'm a bit afraid of the Subway, ie, getting pushed on the tracks, and Cloverfield didn't help.

I never did see that movie in the end. Pinching_eyes_2

Also, what exactly is the subway like? I know it's the same thing is the underground but are they just as busy, dirty, etc?
My impression was that all subways were infested with rats, were very dirty and sewer-like, and had ominous dripping sounds echoing through the tunnels

Of course, I've never actually been on one
Well that sums up the london underground at least. Minus the dripping noises and plus strange blasts of warm wind.

The german U-bahns aren't like that though. They're quite bright and spacious. Grin
I'm not exactly in the downtown core so it's not off the walls busy in the station, but the subway themselves are usually packed. The subways aren't filthy, becuase that's the station's job, but the subways themselves are no cleaner then a street car (for the UKers, a trolley?), which is decently dirty. I find Buses are the cleanest, but then I dont take the TTC everyday.

A tram maybe?
I don't know if it is called a tram, it's like a bus + train and has an anntanae thing that connects to there cables that run acrosss like every street. Here we call them Street Cars.

LOL I didn't bother reading the quote in this post and then misread trams as "trans", as in transsexual.

Wow can you tell I'm tired?
I was gonna comment on that but I can only see the avi and not the siggy. Wrong way round I guess. XD
