We memed about Ultimate Michael, and now we actually have Greatest Raphael. Beautiful.
The layer looks pretty cool honestly, and the gimmick is so stupid and unique that I kinda like it. High mode only and no layer customization sucks though. Also the side view looks weird, though i'll probably get used to it. Probably.
Driver color is cool.
And I can't stress this enough, the gimmick is fully unique. Not an evolution of a previous gimmick or a gimmick taken from a different generation.
I hope there is someway to turn off the bear trap gimmick.
First off, I love the look of the Raphael layer, it's so angelic and provides a good antithesis to Belial. Second, that bear trap gimmick looks so funny, I like it. Third, Xtend+' as a high driver... I feel a bit iffy on that. At least you can make High Xtend' for funsies lol
I just realized it's been a couple years since we've gotten an energy layer-based bey since the infinite lock beys. At least the limit break beys had chip customizability.
Oke I saw how the gimmicks will work, there is 2 button in the hole when launcher and bey connect. When the burst click in the middle. It will activated the gimmick.
Xtend+ is back from the dead as a high dash driver
So upgraded burst resistance and it won’t scrape on db discs
This is turning out to be a good year in mega releases

Clarify again, so after translate it say burst lock will activated after the gimmick work. So gimmick activated after hard launch and burst lock activated after gimmick works
Hold up is this high Xtend+ or high Xtend+’? Cause at this point I’m not even surprised if it’s a dash. TT really is beefing up them stamina types. They should also focus on the other beys.

It would be High Xtend'+, because the Xtend Driver is the Dash variant, not the + attachment. Kinda like Xceed'+X or Zone'+Z

The bear trap styled gimmick is meant to transform from attack to defense, it's creative but it looks breakable as heck. I know that it's going to be raised higher up due to the high driver and because the layer is stuck on high mode, but if there's a possible chance that the bear trap gimmick raised up gets connected with a hard enough hit, it could break it. Thinking about it now, if the gimmick is activated while spinning, it'll create an dome like appearance above the beyblade. I hope there's more to this layer than just that gimmick though, I'm still not a fan of it having no new parts (Xt+' hardly counts IMO), but at least it's not another metal cap, nobody likes those. I love how unorthodox this layer feels though.

So at the end it was Raphael huh. They really went with the Angel vs Devil thing classic match up. Now the color of the bey looks well angelic as the name suggest the bear trap gimmick is interesting don't know how this is going to work irl, but amine wise its going to look great. From the look of it greatest is permanentely stuck at high mode and the armor is fuse with layer not a fan of that at all. High xtend+ well looks like the meta will be more stamina oriented then it already is first bearing dash now this. Got no problem with over it Just got out thats the second bey to have it too. I'm sensing a patern both Prominence & Vanish comes with tapered then Roar & Cyclone with Giga now we Greatest & Astral with Over watch the next release have Karma like Guilty haha.

So it’s xtend’? But it’s Xtend+’ cause you could add the + attachment. Pretty stupid by tt to do that. Like unless they wanted to screw up the meta even more they would try and find a way to not add the + attachment on xtend’. I mean seriously. The entire point of stamina types was that they were able to spin long and have LAD but we’re susceptible to KO’s and bursts. Then DB comes with insane downward force and people are too afraid to use KO attackers for the most part. Bursts rarely even happen but to enhance even that they give it dash drivers. Like seriously come on!

Yea thats what i hope to take that high mode bad taste never really like high mode haha. But if its good i'll let it slide (not that I have a choice either way lol)

I think the performance will be great for Stamina, LAD, and defense since its layer is round and have over and xtend+'. The only issue is durability im afraid those bear trap will break easily

I mainly have no issues with High Xtend+' and Over, but the layer itself is what I'm worried about in terms of performance. I get what you're saying though.

I finally have my own Tocayo [namesake] as a bey! Weird since Raphael is mainly used as a guy's name, and now a beyblade. Just hope this performs well even if not S-tier.

I'm not sure how you're seeing issues with performance when by all merits a round shape should be good, once the gimmick activates. Reliability is also an unknown, as we don't know thew details of its activation yet either.
