I agree, if they were going to bring back old characters and clog up the cast AGAIN the least they could have done is give us Rantaro back. I don’t want Rantaro or any of these guys back in general, but it’s better than getting some new lazy Kiyama loophole. It’s like Hiro said something along the lines of “Well, Free, Lui and Shu will be back but at least I didn’t bring Rantaro back, I just gave him a new design and name instead.”

Absolutely nothing, I love them and as a matter of fact, Rantaro is my second fav burst character of all time. The issue I have is them bringing back all these old characters and motifs. The new Kiyama is just another way to bring Rantaro and Ragnaruk back without directly bringing Rantaro back which is why I hate him the worst. Instead of trying to make it seem not as bad they may as well have just brought Rantaro back.

But he’s more or less just going to be another Rantaro. Would have preferred if they gave us a new sidekick character like when we got Amane.

It’s still a Rantaro clone in my eyes. To me, a new characters is a completely new character. Why couldn’t they have given us someone unrelated? This nostalgia junk needs to end IMO.

So, the same hair colour, the bandaid, the lollipop and they both own Ragnaruk, they don’t just look similar they look extremely alike. It would be harder to disprove them being related.

Those are indeed good points. Guess I didn't think that comment through lol. Anyways, if he really is a kiyama then they pulled another ranjiro and pulled another sibling out of thin air with no previous warning for... honestly i can't really think of much of a good reason. 

Anyways, this thread isn't about the anime. Since we're on the topic of the kiyama's, Ragnaruk looks alright. Whether it looks better than glide or not, i'll wait for better images.

Why do we need another owner for Ragnaruk? You've already made it clear that Free, Lui and Shu are returning, why not Rantaro or even Ranjiro? Oh, I think I know why, because those two have become very skilled legendary bladers, and they probably need a most likely less talented rookie who can lose to future releases to advertise them. This is all assumption though, because I highly doubt this kid would be as talented, and I can't fathom any other reason why they were made, other than.... variety?

Also, not a fan of his design at all, but it might grow on me later. Might.

I mean ngl Ranjiros design was way more odd imo, mainly the hair. I just hope he's not a complete clone of the either Kiyama's

I saw a screenshot of Marathi saying may is a left spin bey. Already had a stamina one in rbv so I think that might be Luinor. However they usually build up the main gang at the start, meaning Lui before white hair kid would be strange. So that new white hair kid might get that release.
