Looks like there is no burst stopper
(Nov. 12, 2021  3:41 AM)WickedHero Wrote: [ -> ]Looks like there is no burst stopper

nah i checked the scans it just says i has 3 strong teeth like the ones from dragon 2
So this is not oveedrive system i guess
So Valkyrie won't be the third OverDrive Bey, it seems. Maybe the RB will be the OD bey?
Looks cool though, curious how Ultimate will be and whether it'll be as powerful as Savior
Ok I finally got to see it. I really like the design but seriously though, why variable as the driver? I wish they had gone with something like with the power driver

Agreed its weird that new Valkyrie is not an Overdrive system, then why bother upgrade valkyrie lol

I can answer your question with a simple image:

So they're really just bringing Victory Valkyrie to DB, from the looks of it. Side-facing chip, clear parts, downforce disc, and Variable.

I heard this was going to be part of a booster set? I guess that makes sense, though it kind of sucks that a Valkyrie of all things is going to be hard to get now.

I'm pretty sure it's been confirmed to be a Booster

Well, I hope they treat us as well as Vol 25 did where you could build a recolor of the entire Bey like with Cyclone Ragnaruk Giga Never-6. Wishful thinking, but I'm a sucker for that stuff, especially if they're going to make Valkyrie harder to get.
The new Valkyrie looks pretty good, it looks pretty aggressive with the way the red blades point forward, which are made of rubber, so this is a bit like Judgement for DB, I assume this'll be really good.

Let's talk about the design choices. This Valkyrie is a composite of the previous Valkyrie's into one, which really does make it feel like the final Valkyrie, unless DB gets a follow up. The design is kinda cool, but I swear some elements conflict with one another, like OG Valkyrie's blade shapes on this sort of standard V2 shape. I think the rubber blades do save the design somewhat. The rubber blade does kinda feel conflicted in what direction to go though.

The DB Core clearly has metal on it, so I guess that's the second right spin core with metal. I'm not quite sure if this core has other additional gimmicks or not.

The 9 armour, I'm not quite sure what to think of it, like most of the armours. Probably doesn't help that I can't really see much of it. At least it's new.

The Legacy disk is heavily inspired by the Boost disk, in fact, I had to keep checking to make sure it wasn't just Boost. It's not, thankfully.

Variable' is kind of a lazy if I'm gonna be honest, especially if they were going to make this ultimate feeling Valkyrie. However, at least the driver is usable performance wise, compared to Shot, and I'm glad it's not Metal Variable or something, let's all agree that Dash variants are always better than the Metal variants.

Also, has anyone else noticed a pattern here? Valkyrie always alternates between plastic tip (P) and rubber ®.

Accel (P)
Variable ®
Reboot (P)
Ultimate Reboot ®
Volcanic (P)
Evolution ®
Power (P)
Evolution' ®
Shot (P)
Variable' ®

The past three rubber tips have been the Variable type of gimmick too.
New info an unexpected legend will come on February and db manga will end next month

An unexpected legend huh? Since it's meant to be unexpected, it must be someone who hasn't been around for a while. I'm honestly thinking it'll be Xhaka if they had to return anyone, since Xcalibur was a prominent line for the first few seasons, and Xhaka and some importance for three seasons (including the single layers manga), and sadly never got a Sparking appearance.
You know, Savior might have sucked, but at least it was unique. Ultimate Valkyrie does look very good competitively.
It's between Xander and Ken for me for who I'd want to return I'd love an Xcalibur or Kerbeus, though Kerbeus I am afraid they'll do something cringe like Metal Press, TT for combos sometimes is really bad for that they choose for returning beys.
Personally i would really like to see Xhaka or Daina. We haven't gotten an Xcalibur since Cho-Z and we haven't seen Daina since the god series, either of them would be a nice surprise to see return.

The gimmick is big rubber contact and it looks alot like v2 and legacy is a downforce disc and 9 looks like 3 not an overdrive bey tho

welp, it's official.

takara tomy is running out of ideas, metal lock high ultimate reboot would be fine but variable dash? why...?
and legacy is just boost adapted for the DB system
at least we have a new armor and blade with rubber and a core with probably better teeth

Wait, how HMUl would be at least not trash lol?) It'll destroy teeth on most cores and have trash burst resistance on Longinus, will be destabilized easily (+it makes no sense bc Ul' is already OK with most DB discs) + Ul' is not that good on DB stuff performance-wise...I don't know what you were thinking when you wrote this, but I think they'd better repeat some old but good and viable performace-wise parts instead of just making countless metal drivers or something that is literally Kick/Just 2.0
(Nov. 12, 2021  3:10 AM)NoNotYou Wrote: [ -> ]Ultimate Valkyrie genuinely looks like one of those clickbait amv thumbnail photoshops you see all the time

Like Guilty. I myself thought it was fake.

Valkyrie Chip Core: Looks like Victory Valkyrie with the Strike God Chip, and the little Valt mark from Brave Valkyrie.
Ultimate Blade: Looks like Victory Valkyrie's wings with Valkyrie's wings on top of those, with 2A below all of them, with Winning Valkyrie's little wings between the main ones.
Legacy DB Disc: Boost
Variable Dash Driver: Great! At least I don't have to buy AA.00M.V' now. Zwei works well on it.
9 Armour: Nothing to say

Wait I just found that I literally said what RampHobbies did...oh well.

Anyway Legacy would probably be bad seeing as Wing and Boost (its predecessors) were pretty light.
Now this is what I call a true upgrade. I'm especially glad to see a new armor with this, but Legacy being Boost DB ver. is kinda lazy but I'm totally OK with it (as far as it's good in any department). Variable' is something I wanted to see with new Valkyrie really long time (basically since it was released) so I'm super-happy with it. I can understand people who don't like this driver too much (hard to control), but I can't understand complaints about it being not something new, especially taking into account how obsessed TT is with metal drivers + V' was released only 2 times (Grand Valkyrie and Ace Ashura wbba - both B-00), and Grand Valkyrie is really not easy to get even for B-00 release, so we can count that as 1 time lol + it's really one of the best Valkyrie drivers competitive-wise - it particularly works very well with Savior on Karma/Giga and grants maybe the lowest self-burst risk (among rubber attack drivers) possible without Belial II core (which is not the easiest to get btw). I'm also still pretty sure it's an Overdrive bey, don't get why people think it's not just bc of burst stopper gimmick being not advertised in Corocoro, I mean it was the same with Raphael but the latter still has it. Overally the only thing I don't like is how sharp those rubber contact points are - I feel like they'll get severely chipped right away or wear very fast even if this rubber is like Vanish-level durable and soft, if it's hard like that on Lord and Brave the whole thing with its contact area and aggression is kinda pointless.

It's not an overdrive bey they font mention any single of it having an overdrive system in the corocoro

the thing about for the infamous idea of HMUl was of a rumor that ultimate valkyrie was going to get this driver, and i have to agree with you the idea is garbage even with the new metal lock driver with suavisaized teeth, it would render it unable for atta those new caps for the metal lock triver are better for defense types like prominence phoenix and dread bahamut.
but still i would be happy if they released this with a blue Ul'
I just hope the new Valkyrie blade doesn't suffer the same fate as Dangerous blade. The features may get from it's previous predecessors which I'm okay with but hopefully, it performs strongly as it speaks for the design. As for the driver, I wish they should have go for Ultimate Reboot' or a new attack type driver that is not as pointless as Shot.

Agree on blue Ul', the Evil Dragon PA's one looked awesome but I'd prefer to see it on some RB combo, hope they'll (re)release it in final RB with those golden exclusives they do in the end of each season since Cho-Z

Well, I don't think "unexpected" is a reliable description. Maybe it is just an exaggration in commercial.
