It feels a little silly for a "customize set" to come with a Sparking bey, considering the chip and chassis are, well... not very customizable with the rest of the set. Then again, I can't really think of anything that could replace it, since DB/BU have been pretty bare bones in terms of releases. Maybe Savior Kerbeus? 🤷‍♂️

Whats the driver for Achilles?

Personally pretty happy about the Hollow ring being added in the Achilles set, even if it only serves to pad out the set and make it more expensive. I'm pretty sure every other time we've seen Hollow, you'd have to try your luck in a random booster.

Does feel a bit odd. The Achilles set costs more than the Spriggan set, and swaps 1 Disc and 2 Drivers for 1 Superking Layer - but the best Chip they could give us was Ragnaruk of all things. But to be honest, it's a small blemish on an otherwise pretty decent package.

Tbh i didn't that hype about Achilles if it isn't for A gear i would have skipped it entirely. I'm still more hype for Xcalibur tho

Well, my thoughts on Zest shortly:
1) as it was already said, we didn't ask for Spriggan2.0 lol, dual spin is needless for this thing, Qt' is cool but I'd rather wait for it several months more and have new driver for Zest than get it like this
2) maybe it's just images quality but all modes look very similar to each other and none of them seemes really any good for attack, Astral level agression at best
P.S.: disc and armor I'm excited to see, and the driver (Qt') looks rather short on the image for any variation of Qt so I still have little hope that it's not what it seems to be or if it's really Qt' then it's at least slightly modified

New Achilles is supposed to be one Beyblade army?
It has as many modes as RID 2001's Megatron

Y'know I'm both for and against possibility of new Valkyrie lol. For bc Ultimate didn't really live up to its name: V' as a driver would be fine (bc of its speed) if it didn't scrape that much, they should've done HV' with softer rubber and more exposed tip, Ultimate is too light to compete with Guilty - should've had metal under wings and Valkyrie II is fine but still should've had burst stopper like Belial II (which could be 'sold' as Cho-Z's legacy). Against - bc of product slots problem ofc, personally I still think they should do Deathscyther and Wyvern, but choosing between Valkyrie and Spriggan I definitely think Ultimate needs evo much more than Astral even though it only makes sense when you only take into account stock performance (which is what TT should do all the time).

Anyway, I'm a bit mixed on this new Zest Achilles. Firstly the name sounds a bit odd, but it's not that bad, just reminds me of lemons for some reason. Achilles is now a type of lemon. Well I'm sure a bit sour about one thing, it just feels off for me.

Okay 48 modes is very impressive, and it does look decently nice, it a bit busy. It looks very interesting to say the least. The armour is 00 which I somehow didn't expect, but there you go, a new armour is always good. The disk is apparently new but I swear it looks like Over, unless it... is?

My main gripe is that it feels like an advanced version of Spriggan. Achilles having dual spin is so weird to me, like if it was a series established to have dual spin earlier on then maybe, but this just doesn't fit it to me, it doesn't really resemble Achilles at all and considering Spriggan was in a similar kind of set, it just feels lazy. Speaking of, Qt'. Now, Qt' is of course a blessing to have, I've been wanting that for a while, but again, it feels too similar to Spriggan, and quite frankly should've been for it. It isn't quite as jarring as the dual spin, but Quattro was reminiscent to Zeta, which both feel like a Spriggan driver. The layer flip gimmick again, feels like Spriggan. It has it's own flare, but it just feels like... once again, too much like an advanced Spriggan.

Also got some leak info thanks to my SG bladers chat and by extension royal Kaiju blader.
Chain phoenix is black so DB Dread is possible now.
Hollow is gold and has 1D (Aw man!), Though:
World Dragon's 4A+Curse Deathscyther Chip+Hollow Ragnaruk Ring=Gold Hollow!
Also stuff has MNv(What's the point of that?) And the armor is supposedly called 4.
Oh and another shot (🦘) at Fortress and some new Wheel wannabe disc again...

Yes thats my issue with Achilles (mixed feeling) everything about Zest looks like spriggan to me, like said previously i wouldve preffered having 3 attachment with it instead of spriggan 2.0.  Even with the dual spin gimmick i would've like the normal version remember when we had legend and requiem Or Lord as dual spin good times.  If Achilles gets dual spin (which it has) make it the normal one. But my oof diabolos really got the end short of the stick huh another dual spin but it aint diablo

For me it seems like a fusion of Over and Katana's Qq-Q disc. I also kinda get the Ring vibes from it.

Lol illegal thats the disc name its so funny. Anyway Zest looks great it give a cho z Achilles vibe the most i can see the infinite and Union plus z an it too though.

The disk's name is Illegal? That's not gonna be confusing at all haha. Anyway about the disk, it definitely feels a lot like Outer, the resemblance is almost uncanny. It's a mix of Over and Outer which scares me a little, since I actually didn't want a stamina disk better than Over, Over was already too good. Regardless I'm glad we got ourselves another new part. It looks a bit light, but I shouldn't ever open my mouth after Fortress proved to be heavier than I expected.

The close up images give me a better grasp at the layer's design, and it looks a lot nicer in that regard. I still have my issues with Achilles essentially feeling like another Spriggan though, it just really throws me off how many similarities it has with it, but that's just me.

I haven't commented much on these, but it has Chain Phoenix and Hollow Ragnaruk. Chain Phoenix looks quite nice, it has a phantom/ghost type of feel to it, and Phoenix is probably for that black Prominence from Prominence Valkyrie. Not a fan of Hollow Ragnaruk, Sparking is a bit old for this set now, but to be fair Hollow has never been rereleased until now, if I remember correctly.

Hmmm...A gear looks all plasticy...but hopefully it fills up divine's gaps...
