Wondering if MF could do a flower in the HyperStrike Stadium... There is a reason why the tier list has Flash W145MF though, so could you try testing MF Flash Sagittario II DF145/AD145/GB145MF please? Hasbro didn't release W14 yet, so...
Here is a little bit of testing I did
Phantom (HyperBlade and Stamina Mode) Cetus 230 D
Gear
Launcher grip
String launcher
SVS

Phantom Cetus 230 D VS Basalt Aquario AD145 WD
Phantom:13
Basalt:3
More tests coming.
, I had to edit my last post in case you missed it.

dome, gasher/cancer is much better phantom if you have it. If not I believe Orion is the next best. And just out of curiosity, why didn't you use B:D? Especially in a stadium with no pockets.

And thank you both for the tests!

I know gasher is better just wanted to mix it up (I have a gasher). Also I wanted to try to find a new things since we know B: D will be goo.

In that case... I have no clue then. What is considered a tornado ridge?

(Dec. 13, 2012  8:33 PM)R3DX Wrote: [ -> ]Agreed, the only problem is the pockets are smaller then the ones in mxs, Although with hasbro making flash and hopefully hyper blade blitz and vari then the sheer recoil alone should be able to prove with stadium outs. For the time being it seems stamina defense hybrids dominate hasbro meta

I've been playing around with the Hyper-Strike Beystadium. I tried many different combos, and at one point recorded a video of a battle between Flash Orion GB145R2F and Phantom Cygnus 230SD (with only Hasbro parts). The latter winning the most since, most of the time, Flash Orion was unable to get it into the pockets and ended up being out-spin battles. Afterwards, I've been frustrating myself trying to come with other good combos to use in the stadium, but nothing seems to work well enough, especially since it doesn't favor attack-types at all. What should I do?

As for the stadium itself, there is a small ridge blocking the pockets, making it nearly impossible for anything to end up in there. I pushed my thumb against it and the one in Max Stampede, and felt way more resistance against the one in the Hyper-Strike. Also, attack types with low tracks scrape the floor due to the steep slope.

Maybe the paint needs to wear down? Because in mxs attack types would fail until the paint wore off
Phantomcellistf, you can look here to get an idea of what a tornado ridge is.
Ok from what I see. There is a tornado ridge around the motif and a slightly larger ridge infront of the pockets. (Most likely used to prevent a self-koing fest.) The slope looks amazing and the only really downside I see is that the stadium is a little too small.

I feel that the reason you are not koing, is your launch. Try launching closer to your body, in other words, launch inbetween you and the bey already in the stadium. This helps you to control your launch because you are not stretching your arms to launch. Also try launching still and much closer to the stadium. Again this will help retain a good bank. Another thing I noticed, is that you tilt out. Try tilting in towards the stadium and letting the attack bey sweep out from underneath the left side of the launcher.

Try practicing these tips and see if your winrate improves.

Okay, compared it to my Attack Stadium and it was more slanted and smoother than it.
Yes, it looked like when Flash was tornado stalling, it kept skipping over the Tornado Ridge, which is the case with most Hasbro Stadiums. Can you do tests with MF Flash Sagittario II DF145/AD145/GB145MF please? Or if you don't have a Metal Flat, WF may work, just not as well.

Dude, this is the second time on that page that you have repeated something someone has already said. Raigeko13 had already answered the MXS question and I had already mentioned the paint in Hasbro stadiums. Are you reading anything other people have said before you post cause this is borderline spam.

, If you can I would also like to know how just plain old F or HF performs to see if it is consistent with past Hasbro stadiums. Another strange thing I saw in your video, is that Phantom did not seem to have the recoil I am used to seeing it have. Anytime I have been brave enough to put Flash and Phantom in the same stadium together, I have to board up my windows, and wear kevlar.
MF Flash Sagittario AD145MF (Stamina Mode) VS MF Phantom Cygnus 230SD (Stamina Mode)
Hyper-Strike Beystadium; Hasbro String Launcher with Launcher Grip; Phantom Cygnus launched first.
MF Flash Sagittario AD145MF: 7 (1 OS, 6 KO)
MF Phantom Cygnus 230SD: 13 (12 OS, 1 KO)
No Draws

I recorded a video of this battle and will post it as soon as I can.
Edit: Here it is.
Edit 2: Going to do Flash (Attack Mode)

Why did you choose Stamina mode to test first? Nice tests btw.

Thanks. Also I did Stamina mode for no reason (you guys didn't mention to do it in Attack mode... so yeah...).
Well anyways.

MF Flash Sagittario AD145MF (Attack Mode) Vs MF Phantom Cygnus 230SD (Stamina Mode)
Same as last time

MF Flash Sagittario AD145MF: 5 (5 KO)
MF Phantom Cygnus 230SD: 15 (15 OS)
No Draws

Flash Sagittario's main problems were getting caught on the fake tornado ridge or having wide attacks, hitting the walls, which would end up allowing Phantom Cygnus to outspin it too easily.

Edit: Once again, the video.
I was playing around with a random Force Smasher, when I found that it did pretty well against Earth. Note that I do not have a 4D Phantom (which would probably be better to test with), so Earth is the next best thing. This may not work against other Beyblades with different Metal Wheels, but hey, Earth is a start, right? The combo is Diablo Nemesis 230XF.

Diablo Nemesis 230XF vs. Earth Virgo GB145WD (WD near mint)
RipGrind BeyStadium; BeyLauncher L/R;
Earth launched first, first ten rounds; Diablo launched first, last ten rounds
Diablo Nemesis 230XF: 18 wins (all OS)
Earth Virgo GB145WD: 2 wins (all OS)
Diablo Nemesis 230XF Win Rate: 90%

The only reason Earth won the two was because it OSed Diablo by spinning in the little crater thingie at the other end of the stadium.

So, the explanation:
Diablo: Because of its weight and smash
Nemesis: No reason, just because it came with Diablo
230: Force smash
XF: Speed and stamina

For some reason, XF on 230 really seems to do a decent flower pattern. No need for a sliding shoot, just a slight bank in this case. I would appreciate it if someone else could try this out against Phantom (4D) or Basalt, as I don't have either of them.

Diablo doing well against Earth is ... Well... Not surprising.
Yeah, I tried it against my TT Duo for fun, and it was pretty much 50/50. That is why I requested it to be tested against Phantom.
You should've posted those tests as well, you can use TT parts. Even if they aren't released yet, any and all tests help!
Use gb145 on flash...
So, I just finished a period of testing. I only did 11 tests, as my BeyLauncher broke. guess I'll have to fix it later... Anyways, here it is.

Diablo Nemesis 230XF vs. Duo Virgo GB145WD (WD near mint)
Same procedure as above
Diablo Nemesis 230XF: 5 wins (all OS)
Duo Virgo GB145WD: 6 wins (all OS)

Yeah, like I said, it was pretty much 50/50.
Its time to get this thread up and running. Can someone get tests for Phantom (Counter) Gasher BD145 RF/MF in a stadium with pockets? Thanks
^Don't you mean Attack mode?^

Also, my combo does decently well against spin equalizers / stealers. Also, it's NOT Destructor.

Diablo Nemesis 230XF vs. L Drago Destroy ED145WD
RipGrind BeyStadium; BeyLauncher L/R;
Diablo launched first; Alternating launches afterward
Diablo Nemesis 230XF: 10 wins (all OS)
L Drago Destroy ED145WD: 10 wins (all OS)

All I had for the best spin equalizing was L Drago Destroy. Would have Guardian been better to use?

Yeah I meant Attack (I thought it was Counter for some reason)
Your combo is OK. Try Guardian I like it better.
Also can you try it against a better Stamina and a Defense?
Hmm, Hasbro did not release Guardian yet, so.... Also, what do you suggest using Duo? I only have 1 230 track, so I can't test against Duo 230MB...

EDIT: Oh yeah, I forgot. Proof of parts:
Probably AD145 WD. Hasbro hasn't released a Duo besides Spark FX which is not a Hyperblade. They have released Guardian but just Spark FX to.
