If noone was willing to test my Basalt beating combo then why couldn't they have told me so from the start?
If it does suck then I want to see how since it dominates my personal meta even more than the Basalt it was designed to dethrone.
What was your combo exactly? And I think a while ago you mentioned this combo and we did explain it to you, i cannot rememebr though.
Burn (Hasbro) Horogium 135 B.
I had it explained why 135 was bad but I knew that already. I did try every other track I owned repeatedly first.
B, regardless of stadium, is never a great choice. And Horogrium probobly doesnt resonate well with Burn in terms of shape, as it was designed to aestheticly fit Basalt.
And shape wise too, not just aesthetics. Why not try Pisces instead, that would provide more destabilization and is even flatter than Horogium until the jaws.
When i said asthetics, i ment shape mostly. Sorry If i confused you guys. =(

Pisces would probobly be better in terms of weight distribution, despite the fact that it is a relativly useless part.
Pisces has use in exposing the MW, especially in cases like Screw/Spiral. That's why I suggested it. Plus, the extra slopes give an added bonus.
A good point. In that case, wouldn't the Scorpio wheel also be a decent choice for wheels such as Screw, Spiral and Burn? probobly not as good as Pisces, considering its the lightest CW, but it is definatly got a slope and is certiantly small and exposes alot of metal on the MW.
Scorpio's actual tail parts interfere with the edges, especially the weird curve up at the beginning of the tail.
That's right, i forgot that the twin "stingers" were placed akwardly...
I was doing testing for the 135B combo and instead of using Burn I used my other Basalt.
FUUUUUU
I will have tests up within the hour! XD

EDIT: Actually... Make that tomorrow. I feel like doing a lot of testing. Eee
The thing with this is it's the ability to grind with 230 at an angle that provides a lot of its strength in this matchup. Horogium has both the lack of slopes needed to lessen the effect from Basalt's hits (since any hit from the Basalt wheel itself will destabilise the burn combo significantly more than the Basalt one) and the slight lack of balance to provide the tendency towards angled combat that seems to work so well.

I did try more mainstream CWs but Horogium was by far the best (Gill sucks due to too big a balance issue).

FUUUUUU

How'd that work out? I only own one Basalt.
Ehh, I can't remember at all. It was doing better than Burn is though.
T_T I didn't get all the testing done.
At least I got some attack testing done though.
Burn Pisces 135B

Standard procedure.
Beylauncher R (Hasbro with Rubber Grip and

Launcher Rubber) for Right spin.
Beylauncher L/R (L, no handle SonoKong) for Left spin.
Lightning Force Stadium.

vs. ATK
I WILL UPDATE THIS POST AS I DO MORE TESTING.

I would have to agree. B gets pushed around far too easily. Since basalt it heavy it won't be pushed too easily but it may kill its stamina. I may do a few spin tests later for my amusement.

: Those are pretty much the results I've been having v attack types, though I'm having to bank the Burn combo massively to get them even that good (probably since my RF is less used). And yes, regardless of what you do, it's close shave after close shave for my combo v attackers, though my stadium results in more wall saves than ridge saves.
I just launcher it anywhere and everywhere.
ATK's have disadvantages in Hasbro as well, so yeah.
I'm still not convinced on Pisces but I doubt the difference would be that much. Thanks for testing for me.
i really dont think we should use the max stampede stadium for testing i understand that attack already has a disdavntge but the stadium makes it worse the reason why is that in the center of the stadium theirs the flat section i called 'the death zone' i named it liek this since if the attack type beyblades get stuck on the flat center the agression of the attack beyblade is gone due to it being flat and its "death zone" since if an attack type gets in their the match it over for it its lost all agresion and is basically depleting stamina
you have a point, njrk, but I have one myself, and one tap from any bey will make it go aggro again. also, if it's a flat tip, it should either go around on the TR, or move in the flower pattern from sliding shoot. Good thinking though!
I have one Lion's Lair Stadium. It's really great stadium, but if you flower pattern it has to be within the TR or it will sort of ruin it when enters out of the TR.
The Super Vortex Stadium has shown me just how badly a tornado ridge can wreck an attack type. If it would normally be aggressive enough to move above the ridge height during the flower pattern and can't due to the lip then that forces it into circling the ridge very fast, destroying the flower pattern and wasting all its energy.
This motion seems to create an unusual airflow pattern, judging by the erratic motion of stamina types caught in the center, but it's not nearly enough to make up for the damage it does to the attacker's chances.

I doubt the effect is this major in other stadiums since the ridge hight is less and the central area is wider but still, this is why I hate tornado ridges.
What if we had a stadium with a TR touching the walls? What would happen then?
The classic magnestadium has a tornado ridge just outside the wall, meaning attackers self KO less and you can feasibly use wall rebounds to force a flower pattern on tips that would normally be too uncontrollable to use.
Were the ridge only slightly further forward, I doubt it would be much different, though the forced flower might be lessened a bit.

No. It has the least amount of the "death zone" in it of all stadiums released by Hasbro. The Lightning Force is even worse. Max Stampede still stands as the best stadium.

Yep. SVS does not "give attack types the advantage" as it's labeled. It kills them so badly it's horrible..
