Lightning L-Drago T125RF Testing
(continued)

LLD T125RF vs Earth Bull GB145CS

LLD T125RF: 11 (7 KO, 4 OS)
EB GB145CS: 9 (3 KO, 6 OS)

LLD T125RF vs Earth Bull GB145WD

LLD T125RF: 7 (7 KO, 0 OS)
EB GB145WD: 13 (5 KO, 7 OS)

Overall:
I did not expect such good results against CS. I don't think that those results can be repeated again. I just don't see this combo being that good. I had expected less wins against WD.
so 100 in stamina in tt stadium but in hasbro it sucks? okay then also could some do burn bull 145wd vs burn bull df145 wd im curouse to see if df145 is worst than 145 considering df effects are neliagable

like we said to two other people TODAY, read the OP. It says that this is not a request thread.
HEy Guys I have just Bought Last week Night Virgo DF145BS. I was kinda surpised that the Night wheel was so poor. It loses to Burn, Earth and flame, and barrely won against Thermal. And due to its shape i tought i could use it on a low track to knock the other taller beys of balannce but did also not work pretty well due to its light weight. I will do some real tests later today.
I got Galaxy Pegasus earlier today, so do yall need any testing on it? I wouldn't be suprised if yall already did all that's needed. I know Galaxy is WAY out-classed in the TT metagame, but I have no idea about how good it is in the Hasbro metagame.
You really dont need to post to ASK to test. Wink If you want to test, then test. If you dont want to, then don't. =D There is no point is asking. On this thread, most of us wont care if it is a repeat test, because you will be either proving or disproving someone's test results. (as long as it hasnt been done a hundred times)

With that said, Galaxy Pegasus really only has one part we all want to see tested: R2F. I highly dought Galaxy will be different IMO, but what they heck, go for it and test that too. (if you do decide to test) The only MWs that preform differently, or should I say better, in Hasbro Stadiums than in TT ones are wheels with higher recoil. Hence, why Rock is top tier in the Hasbro metagame and not in the TT metagame. That said, don't not test Galaxy because I said this! We wont know the difference (if there even is one) until we have tests. The main thing we want to see is how Galaxy fairs agianst top tier combos in comparison to previous wheels, such as Storm, as well as current top tier wheels, like Ray and Vulcan.

i use FS allot, and no matter how hard i try, it wont move fast in a hasbro stadium when on F

my first FS i shot onto concrete for a second and easily went fast on the F side in a PTW.
...that is absolutely irrelevant to anything what so ever. That would be considered an illegal modification in any tourtament or for testing. Also, why would you do that? Just buy an F tip if you are going to do that. And we do not test in PTW anyway. Sorry if it seems as if I am bashing on you, I do not intend to offend you, but please refrain from posting such things in the future.
Dangit, wish I could do somme testing, but I only have a Super Vortex Stadium, and I can't buy anything right now. I really want to try out two combonations I have, and see which one is better...
and if someone has a Hasbro Duotron Launcher, would that be usable, since it is made by Hasbro? After all, it launches beys at the same time and same speed...
~X~
Agian, these types of posts arent really needed. All duotron launchers are useless. Plastic, HMS and HWS generation Duotron launchers are all B-A-D. And for the record, I even say in the OP that Duotron launchers are not allowed for testing. you cant even test the weak launch method because it wont work if both beys are launched weak.

This is nothing personal, but these kinds of posts have been happening way to much lately. So do not worry, this isnt just you. This message is for everyone. Post only if your comments have relevance to actual testing or theories.
Galaxy Testing

Setup:
3 Segment Launcher Grip
Beylauncher L/R
Lightning L-Drago Stadium
Completely New/Out of The Box R2F
CS Is In Its Prime Defense Form
CH120 In 120 Mode
Uncustomized:
__________________________________________
Galaxy Pegasus W105R2F vs Earth Bull GB145CS

GP: 2 (2 KO, 0 OS)
EB: 18 (3 KO, 15 OS)

Overview: Earth Bull was a wall of dominance in these battles. Galaxy, to me, got very lucky in its two wins. Galaxy would get under Earth Bull and attack GB145.
__________________________________________
Galaxy Pegasus W105R2F vs Ray Virgo CH120WD

GP: 6 (6 KO, 0 OS)
RV: 14 (4 KO, 10 OS)

Overview: Galaxy Pegasus ended up getting decent test results against Ray Virgo. I couldn't stop laughing as I watched Galaxy knock Ray around like a ragdoll, yet Ray still hung in there to outlast Galaxy.

Galaxy Pegasus W105R2F vs Earth Virgo 125WD

GP: 10 (10 KO, 0 OS)
EV: 10 (2 KO, 8 OS)

Overview: Earth Virgo isn't the best combination but, it could still hold its ground...sometimes. Galaxy Pegasus knocked Virgo around easily but R2F's stamina was its down fall.
__________________________________________

Overall: Galaxy isn't very good when used in its uncustomized form, but, it isn't the worst metal wheel either.

I am going to start testing with a variety of tracks and performance tips starting on Thursday. So be ready for some more tests!
I'm not a hasbro pro, but I heavily question how Galaxy Pegasus got a 50% win rate against Earth Virgo 125WD and only a 30% win rate against RAY Virgo. It should definitely be different - no?

Yes, that is known as illegal wearing down of parts according to the rule books.

It isn't that hard to make FS go F, launch the bey at an angle completely opposite to that of the stadium.

ControL_, Gamma did say that Galaxy Pegasis knocked Ray Virgo around like a rag doll yet it hung in there.

Knocking around and winning is completely different.

I said it should be winning more.
yes, It does seem kind of odd, doesn't it? I mean, Ray has more recoil than earth, but according to these results, ray is better than earth for defense, which we all know is not true. When I get home (at school right now) I will do some testing of these combo's. btw, what stadium did you use Gamma?
(side note: I noticed that if galaxy is not on RF or R2F, it needs to be on a 125 hight or above, or else galaxy will scrape on the floor of the stadium when you bank it)
You can test against Ray Virgo. I was just as surprised as you are. I could retest if you think that will help. And the results do NOT say that Ray is better for defense than Earth. Just because a combination is better, it doesn't mean that the metal wheel is better. I'm using the Lightning L-Drago stadium and I may be getting the Max Stampede stadium soon (I'm not sure if that is the right name). I completely forgot to put my setup on my post...
I just edited my test results post.

I agree. It doesnt matter what stadium it is, Earth should never be inferior to Ray on defense or stamina EVER. Ray isnt even a defense or stamina wheel tier, so why use it in that combo anyway?

: Why use Virgo when Bull or Aquario is a commonly avaliable wheel? (unless u dont have one then its fine)

Otherwise, your testing is greatly appreciated. Thank you
: I saw it in an earlier post (I'm not sure which page the post was on) and Temporal was asking people to test it against there combos, so I decided to include it. And I have both Bull and Aquario. Bull is kind of obvious since it's in the testing Tongue_out
MF Twisted Gasher 100CS(Face-off Pack CS)
MF Lightning L-drago 100/CH120RF

Max Stampede 1
CS-2 is brand new
RF is Worn
String Launcher Used for both.

Twisted Gasher 16/20 (13 Outspin, 3 Knockout)
Lightning L-Drago 4/20 (4 Knockout)

Twisted Gasher 17/20 (15 Outspin, 2 Knockout)
Lightning L-Drago CH120 3/20 (2 Outspin, 1 Knockout)

Upon future questions as "Why not Bull/Virgo/Aquario?"
I have access to all 3 CWs, but through testing I've found that Gasher improves Twisted's Balance AND Stamina far more than the others have. Helping CS-2 do it's job.

When I say a part(s) name differently(Ex. Cancer/Gasher) I will Always be referring to which Company it was produced by.
So questions such as "Is this TT Basalt?" doesn't pop up.
Thanks for your contributuon! I have been looking foward to testing on this special version of CS..

Tell me did this CS differ preformance wise from a normal CS? More aggresive, more defensive, or more endurance?
(Aug. 24, 2011  11:34 PM)LeonTempestXIII Wrote: [ -> ]Tell me did this CS differ preformance wise from a normal CS? More aggresive, more defensive, or more endurance?

From what I've seen/Tested:
Normal CS(Hasbro) is very aggressive until worn down greatly, as well as low in Stamina.
While this may be slightly good in Defense due to the rubber, It is bad against Attack-type(s) due to them(Hasbro CS) being close to the pockets 60% of the time.

Hasbro CS-2(What I'm calling it for right now)
Even upon launch, unless the tilt is great, it will rush towards the middle to then spin upon the pointed tip.
When hit, depending on if it's knocked off the inner "flat" dish in the stadium, it's rubber will make contact and begin to aggressively move around the stadium(Never near the pockets though) until it passes through the middle once more. Which it will then revert back to it's pointed Tip and continue sitting as it once was. Because of this, it's Stamina and Defense is far better than it's CS-1 Original.

I do have a worn TT CS. But since I have only 1 and not multiples to test on, I can not say much on it.
Though in performance I see it being
CS-2 > Hasbro CS > TT Worn CS
Wow. This is interesting news. This Information must go outside of this thread though. If anyone has an attack stadium and CS 1 and 2, it would be greatlyy appreciated

Thanks for all of this information. You say Normal CS Hasbro as if there is a difference between the TT CS. Is there?
IIRC, there's also different CS' that TAKARA-TOMY released as well; aggressive and not aggressive.
If that is true then why don't peole specify which CS they use for testing?

Are these TT CSs the same as these 2 Hasbro CSs?
