(Sep. 03, 2012  9:15 PM)Deadpool Wrote: [ -> ]Before we decide to begin a new thread, I have some questions :

Will the new thread revolve solely on Metal Fury ?

Have we developed a strong basis on a tier list ?

What are the recommended stadiums ? I have an LF and SVS, has Meteor Fire and Ripgrind/Graffiti Den shown good potential ?

And last but not least, this is more of a solid statement than a question. Everybody has to contribute Attack type combos. The Hasbro metagame, the way I see it, is not very healthy. And are there any beyblades which out balance the metagame ? If so, we should look into nerfing or banning such parts, if neccessary.

At this point, I do not know what stadium types are being produced. the main focus of stadium testing was originally Lightning Force, MXS (NC) and Dragon's Den, as they had the best shape and slope. Striker stadium received poor results to my knowledge, but Destroyer was never tested. At this point, I think any unproductive stadiums should be forbidden from testing, and the main focus should be on the stadiums we know do well as well as the untested stadiums.

I remember last time there was a bug fight about stadium legality here...instead of only allowing some stadiums, or allowing all stadiums, maybe we should just allow everything EXCEPT for gimmick stadiums such as Burning Firestrike? Also, perhaps we should disallow MXS, as I am sure a lot of the test results involving MXS were fabricated or misleading...

Now, to get straight to your questions

Metal Fury will be a large focus, but not the sole focus. there are still some things left over from Metal Masters to test, and there are a lot of stadium tests left over

We have a very poor tier list. Rai and myself have a general understanding of what should be there, but as of right now, nothing is conclusive, as not enough people did tests. Just remember for attack types, more stamina and weight is better, along with high recoil for hasbro meta. A good example would be Rock ___125SF. The only exception is left-spin-stealers like MLD CH120LRF. And in smaller stadiums like SVS, RF and R2F combinations with high recoil wheels tend to end battles quickly, if everything goes well.

let me be clear about this. If this new meta thread is to be successful, the sole focus must be attack testing. No defense, no stamina, just attack.

Basically, my main feelings are that all stadiums should be legal EXCEPT for gimmick stadiums, MXS test results should be considered with extreme caution due to the existence of 2 stadiums, and that only attack type testing should be performed as Defense and Stamina Customizations will be identical to Takara's meta.

I think that the new thread should not just focus on Metal Fury, I think they should be some of the first things to be tested, but not the main focus. All MFB that are produced by hasbro should still be included, as I am sure they will be.

From my experience, pretty much any rubber bottoms are useless. However, last time I played in a hasbro stadium, of launched properly, attack types using F, HF, XF, and possible MF did fairly well.

Also, which stadium or stadiums will be used for testing? If there are a few that I have access too, I will be glad to help.

Rubber tips, if used correctly, can have minor use. But again, they are EXTREMELY under tested.
the hasbro meta needs destablizers to kill stamina and atack can come in to kill destablizers and defence kills atack baaam problem solved
We know that already. The basic tier list already has combinations using parts one would classify as a destabilizer, although considering how controversial that word is for MFB, I am not sure we should use it so loosely. For now, it is best to describe Hasbro attack meta as parts with high recoil, controlled movement, and high stamina.
I'll continue to test parts to find good attack wheels, but as for metal fury, I'm still lagging BADLY. but I do have all the hasbro versions of meteo L-drago, so I can do 85 and XF testing, as well as 90 and WF. I'll post back soon when I have more news, and hopefully, more beys.
EDIT: I'll also do testing in the mobile stadium, as well as the week one challange.
What stadium(s) should we use for testing?
It's all stated in the OP.
Are the new Cosmic Pegasus and Hades Kerbecs stadiums the Half Pipe stadiums?
What...? The Half Pipe Stadium comes with an XTS Set... The Cosmic and Hades Stadiums are Metal Fury Stadiums, which are supposed to be used with MFB.
So is anyone still contributing to this besides the people who have posted in the last month? And Should testing results be put here or as a separate thread?
Well I would Love to do some Testing and Help with the New Hasbro Meta Game Tier List, but the Only Stadium I have is the Meteor Fire Stadium, and it's XTS. So I'm not sure if it's allowed. Uncertain Honestly I think It's a Great Stadium to do Testing in. It's pretty Fair for Attack/Defense/Stamina Type's. It has a small Flat in the Middle and has a Tornado Ridge, but it has no Pit Pocket's.
It sounds like you could test with it, but I would ask the person who made the thread.
Hm, does the RipGrind Stadium count as having a "gimmick"? It has a small "tornado ridge" on one side of it. Beys can easily get out of it though, but if by chance one of them gets stuck in there, a redo will take place. Is it okay Tempest?
Guys, I believe any and all testing is welcome. Just make sure you clearly state which stadium you are using and follow the proper guidelines when you post the tests.
Is Tempest still active on the WBO?
From time to time he is. He might even get more active if people were testing.
Hi I have some weird tests!

Beylauncher R + Launcher Grip Used
Pegasus Thunder Whip Stadium
Out of 10 rounds

Inferno Sagitarrio GB145HF vs Earth Kerbecs BD145CS

Inferno Sagitarrio - 5/10 (3 KO, 2 OS) = 50%
Earth Kerbecs- 5/10 (2 KO, 3 OS) = 50%

Benchmark Tests
Gravity Destroyer (Attack, Counter) D125HF vs Earth Kerbecs BD145CS
Gravity - 5/10 ( 3 KO, 2 OS) = 50 %
Earth - 5/10 ( 1 KO, 4 OS) = 50%
We should test some of the Hasbro Metal Fury beys. The only hasbro stadium I have is the tornado vortex stadium that came with the recolored L'drago and Storm Pegasus. Would that work?

I can test Cosmic in a Hasbro Stadium but I only have the L-Drago Stadium(Lightning Force), Destroyer Stadium and the Triple Battle Set Stadium

Yeah that would be good! Can you test Cosmic Kerbecs R145R2F vs Basalt Kerbecs/ Aquario BD145CS/RS ( If you dont have two Kerbecs than Aquario would be ok!) I really need a Cosmic for testing! It seems to do fine. But one problem is it's major contact points are toward the bottom of the wheel and Habro hasn't released any major heights for it. 230 is a MAJOR height but it doesn't work good with Cosmic. Wink

Alright, Sound's good. Ummmm, Am I allowed to use Metal Face Bolt's?? Not the MF-H or MF-F, But The single Whole Piece Metal Face Bolt, like that come's with the Hasbro Beyblade DS Game's?
Yes, you are allowed to.

Probably. I dont see why not. If it's Hasbro then I think you can use it.

Can someone test Hades Kerbecs BD145EDS, Phantom (Hasbro... derp) Cancer/Aquario/Bull BD145EDS, or Basalt Cancer/Aquario/Bull BD145EDS?

EDIT: Sorry The No.1 Blader, I didn't see your post. ^
Its Ok it happens aensoni! Wink

As aensoni said Test Hades Kerbecs BD145 EWD/EDS (EWD is preferred) vs Phantom ( a little changes) Gasher AD145WD and test Scythe Kronos BD145EDS. This test is conducted so that we can find another option in the Hasbro metagame instead of Hades coz we havent been testing others for a while and my hasbro (not tt combos in hasbro stadium) is Hades Gasher BD145EWD and it works like a charm! Including TT combos would be Phantom Gasher W145BWD of course!

I might do some testing. Most hasbro stadiums have similar designs so I don't think it will matter that much if I do testing in the Tornado Vortex stadium. I have all of those parts, but I don't have two BD145's. :\

Also, what should I test those against? Each other?
Then Test Phantom Gasher AD145WD and Scythe Kronos AD145WD against Hades Kerbecs BD145WD/EWD. I mean first Phantom against Hades then Scythe against Hades and finally Phantom and Scythe. I got a sprain on my thumb so I wont be able to do any testing. Unhappy
