as for basalt 230 cs, let's face it. basalt HAS A MISSING CHUNK, AND 230 HAS mediocre BALENCE. heck, I just figure we go for some kind of destabelizer, like MF LLD CH120 SF or something. then we just have to make the bey avoid wobble smash... anyways, I expect dark will end being the best counter to basalt! <-- JK. Confusedupaburn:
probably beat on CH120 or something.

Have you ever seen Videos of Basalt? The "Chunk" is the Staircase of Death, for the Flywheel Effect. And I have a 230. Not that unbalanced, unless you put Basalt and get the Wobbler effect. Which helps it even further.
And yet Basalt 230CS is STILL top tier somehow... Shows what your theory means.
^ Is that comment toward me, or Geminikid13? Because I KNOW why Basalt is Top tier.
Gemini Kid, who obviously has no idea what he's saying. (Humph, 230... Bad balance... What?) For real, man, Basalt on 230 is freakin' scary. Plus, there's this thing that I've been hawking for about a month. High-recoil Stamina Types? They KO themselves and win by OS, or KO the opponent. Ray Virgo CH120WD, for the relatively easy win.
That combo is a MXS Win. Thanks to whoever made that. Anyways A combo that might be able to attempt kill 230. MF Lightning L-Drago/ or Gravity Perseus (Left Spin Counter) SW145,GB145MF or CS. Works for me against MF-H Earth 230CS in My BB-10, Try it against Basalt in the MXS. (Just a suggestion)
Ray Virgo? Yours truly, though it wasn't very useful in 120 mode except for against Defense until Hasbro made up that stupid rule of theirs. The RGL is apparently what we need to use Gravity according to Hasbro, methinks, but I need to pick one up soon.
Hi everyone. I have been reading through the last 3 pages and I would just like to restate something

This is not a test request thread. Do not post "please test so and so" unless you have already tested in a hasbro stadium and just want your tests confirmed or if you have tested in a TT stadium and want to see the difference in a hasbro stadium.

Do not simply state a combo is good. You need details. That is a given for any testing thread. And saying "this won this many times and this one lost this many times" doesnt really count. Include all the details asked for in all good testing threads

Otherwise, your posts will not be taken seriously.
Essentially, don't test parts we all know are bad. And test before you post.
I wouldnt say it like that Temporal. Dont test COMBOS (not parts) you know are bad unless you can prove otherwise with extensive testing.

Different parts can be used in a variety of situations. A while ago I found some extremely minor uses for ED145. Unfortunatly when others tested it in an Attack Stadium it wasnt taken seriously because of the hasbro stadium initialy used, so my thread was treated like carp...

But yes, temporal is right everyone, test BEFORE you post about a combo

Look foward to me finnaly getting some testing done soon! Prepare for comparison testing on the F tips!

Alright, Thanks for the Clarification. Will be doing testing in a week for the combos I listed.

True, but would it not be pointless to fabricate results for Dark Gil M145 (Outer Mode) HF? If you think a part may have been overlooked, PM someone and see if they can get similar results. That's what I think should happen.

I hope by fabricate you don't mean make up.

If they did tests, even with ridiculous parts, and got results worth posting, then why not?
I mean exactly that. I mean, if you get 100% vs Basalt Bull 230CS with that combo, then that's one thing, but if everyone else gets 0, and you suddenly say "Oh! I'm getting 0 too!" then... Something can't be right. I'm not saying anyone here would do so, but the OP SPECIFICALLY warns against doing so.

On a less depressing matter: But while posting could promote better testing, seeing as we're dead in the water until someone manages to pick up Twisted or something, it could also cause some ridicule. But I'd probably say "Moo Moo Hurricane" or something. How about this, double test iffy combos. Is this acceptable?
I am going to test Gravity D125F (or 135, since the loss of height from the lack of RF would be made up) against the Ray Virgo combo. I'll do it with our standard rules, pocketing is a KO and such. Grr, I need my hands on Twisted, that sucks you couldn't get it, Temporal.
EDIT: And Earth Bull, if it can't defeat Earth Bull, it'll have no chance against Twisted/Basalt.
Blah, yes it does! Being a writer is expensive when you need paper and notebooks, but that comes with the territory. Paying for passes to Anime World Chicago in two weeks didn't help.

Anyway, Gravity will win. Quite easily. RV's point was to avoid low attackers at first, but now it needs to be KOed. That's how it performs well, by OSing from a pocket.
Alright, then. I will test against Earth Bull. Like I said in my edit, if it can't defeat that, it has no chance against Basalt/Twisted.
Twisted DOES have some recoil, so I'll see how Twisted does on F once I get one. Hah, THAT'll be fun.
And if it doesn't work well, you have a new combo for the fun combos thread. I'll TRY to test now, I just hope I don't get caught (it's midnight here, I could get in trouble)
Eh? We can wait. Don't get yourself in trouble, now.
Alright then, I was just getting bored. I'll do it as soon as I wake up. Results should be up around the noon timeframe, EST.
Hey guys just picked up a Max Stampede Stadium. Is it better than Lightning Force?
If it's without the craters, yes.
As for the testing I was going to do.
Gravity D125F had no hope against Earth Bull, it got under and the GB145 track sent it back a few inches (recoil of Gravity...) while Earth Bull barely moved at all.
Gravity 135F didn't fare as well either.
Both showed no hope whatsoever during my testing.
I'm hoping GPR145__ could do better. I do not have R145, so I can't test that with F and RF. Since we're using the rules we've always been using, I assume we should still use RF, no?
Yeah, but not by too much. As long as it has no craters.
Ninja'd. Yeah, RF should suffice. I didn't think Gravity would do that poorly.
Neither did I. I'll do more unofficial testing with a Metal Face and RF. I hope it shall fare better.
