No. It has the least amount of the "death zone" in it of all stadiums released by Hasbro. The Lightning Force is even worse. Max Stampede still stands as the best stadium.

Have we figured about the "death zone" of Lion's Lair?
(Dec. 03, 2011  1:55 AM)geminikid13 Wrote: [ -> ]you have a point, njrk, but I have one myself, and one tap from any bey will make it go aggro again. also, if it's a flat tip, it should either go around on the TR, or move in the flower pattern from sliding shoot. Good thinking though!

its often the flower pattern that causes the attack to to get stuck in the death zone and thats why i think that the lightning force stadium is better since the fkat section is not so large
Whats the difference between the two? someone compare them with pics and or widths of the flat middle. I thought they were both the same though.
Burning Firestrike does not have a flat spot, although there are ridges....

The death zone in the Max Stampede is MUCH less than in the Lightning Force, I can assure you.
I got a Hell (Hades) Kerbecs from wal-mart. Any test requests?
EDIT: I'll get the tests done tomorrow.
Hades Kerbecs(Boost Mode) Vs Twisted Tempo
Both uncustomized?
Sure.

Unless your attack type is useless or the flat zone is huge, that should not happen.
The problem should only arise when momentum is lost from a collision in the flat zone, at which point, an FS, D, WD or CS tipped bey will circle round for some time and leave the attacker to die horribly in the center.

Still, it is a major problem nonetheless unless your attacker has major recoil (also an issue) to escape or can reliably one hit KO.

As for the SVS, I have my suspicions that it was designed with Ginga's Stormbringer in mind and no consideration as to the competitive implications in the slightest.
i haven't been around much, so could someone explain this "death zone"?

: so the SVS is based around something that all attackers do...
hasbro doesn't really think when it comes to stadiums except for useless "fun" gimmicks

Basically the flat area in a Stadium. Like TT's Red Stadium (I think it's the Balance/Stamina stadium..) with the flat center. No slope, just a flat area which is where RF's usually "stall."

ah

haven't you guys learned already, RF doesn't do good in hasbro stadiums Tongue_out_wink , stamina attackers is the way to go for hasbro (*cough*meteo+MF*cough*)

personally i have not had RF stall in the flat area, the only time it does that is when it is almost out of stamina (which it does in all stadiums IIRC)...
Hades Kerbecs BD145WD( Boost Mode) vs. Earth Bull AD145WD
MXS non gimmicked
Rev Launcher used
Earth launched first
20 rounds
Hades Kerbecs- 18-2, 1 KO, 17 OS
Earth Bull- 2-18, 2 OS
2 draws redone
For all Stamina versus Stamina tests, you must alternate launches, to prevent a launched-first-bias.
Hades Kerbecs BD145DS (Boost Mode) vs Twisted Tempo 145WD
String Launcher
Lion's Lair Stadium
10 test matches
Alternate First Shoots: Twisted first then Hades first
Bold is the victor.
Hades: 1 Twisted: 9
1. Hades Kerbecs BD145DS (Boost Mode) vs Twisted Tempo 145WD Spin Out
2. Hades Kerbecs BD145DS (Boost Mode) vs Twisted Tempo 145WD Spin Out
3. Hades Kerbecs BD145DS (Boost Mode) vs Twisted Tempo 145WD Spin Out
4. Hades Kerbecs BD145DS (Boost Mode) vs Twisted Tempo 145WD Spin Out
5. Hades Kerbecs BD145DS (Boost Mode) vs Twisted Tempo 145WD KO'd
6. Hades Kerbecs BD145DS (Boost Mode) vs Twisted Tempo 145WD Spin Out
7. Hades Kerbecs BD145DS (Boost Mode) vs Twisted Tempo 145WD KO'd
8. Hades Kerbecs BD145DS (Boost Mode) vs Twisted Tempo 145WD Spin Out
9. Hades Kerbecs BD145DS (Boost Mode) vs Twisted Tempo 145WD Spin Out
10. Hades Kerbecs BD145DS (Boost Mode) vs Twisted Tempo 145WD Spin Out
I'm sorry if I didn't do 20 test runs. Uncertain
You should really look into seeing how the standard testing format is listed. It would help out a lot!
Also yay, people other than me testing. XD
anything I can test, BESIDES twisted tempo? I'm getting it at christmas >:U
Really, just mess around with some combos that you know would fail in TT's metagame. I mean come on, MF Ray Bull CH120WD is top tier. LOL
Ray with a WD? WTF?!
Even I wouldn't build something that dumb.

it works though (it has been tested by many)

remember, a different stadium is like a different environment, you need to change your thinking to "survive" (or in this case, win)

look at my old combo, killer eagle T125FS, it seems bad, but in a hasbro stadium it can succeed
All I was saying is that, as a combo, it makes no sense.
Of course the stadium matters greatly here and I don't doubt what you say, it just seems highly weird.
Also, we are talking the balanced Ray mold, right?

lol so were acutally gonna use this name well basically it was a nick name i came up for the large flat area in the center of the maximum stampede where it is flat it was called death zone due to the fact that if any attack types go stuck in it and did not move out fast they would lose all agresion and lose even more stamina so death zone cause its over for an attack type if it gets trapped in their sine the opposing bey will almost always outspin it if its in their

it happen if you flower pattern and just lose engough spede not to exit the flat surface from all the battles i have done that seems to be the case

alos i think meteo it goiing to own as a stamina type in hasbro stadiums
Ok at 1st i was pming a few people but now I feel the need to post this:

If you own a Lion's Lair Stadium, I humbly request that you test the stadium for all 4 types, especialy attack. And please try not to put decent tier Attack types agianst unbeatable basalt combos for the initial testing, that helps no one. If possible, i request the same for the Dragon's Den stadium.

Um, RF has been proven to do just fine if used correctly, although it is definatly not as good as it would be in a TT stadium, and this "death zone" you people keep refering to is in almost every stadium like MXS. For the record, MXS is the best known hasbro stadium, the 2nd is Lightning force. Where did you come up with the notion that MXS wasnt useful for hasbro testing??? (Non-crater version obviously) i do acknowlage though, that the stamina center (its real name) is a bit o an issue for attack types.

I have noticed an increase lately in discusion rather than actual testing. Let's try to reduce that a bit for the benifit of the thread.

Hades Kerbecs BD145DS (Boost Mode) vs. Galaxy Pegasus W105R2F
Lion's Lair
String Launcher
Hades first then Galaxy banked.
Hades Kerbecs BD145DS (Boost Mode): 19 wins (18 OS, 1 KO)
Galaxy Pegasus W105R2F: 1 win (1 KO)
1 draw
R2F win percentage: 5%? Eh.
