There is nothing wrong with putting Caterpies on Wonder Trade .. People don't like it, they get rid of it. Or if they bred for it and don't want their boxes cluttered up of the same Pokemon, they give it out .. Albeit useless really, I wonder what you put up on Wonder Trades? Do you give out really good Pokemon?? Xerneas? Yveltal? 90% of the people out there are giving out Pokemon's which are common and found within the game. Also, what you just said there is not even a defense ..
What you're doing is not comparable at all; you are falsely putting a crappy Pokemon up on GTS in return for what you want, claiming it has perfect IVs. If you wanted a Chimchar, you could have asked kindly on here, heck i would have given you one.

Yes, but you are the one lying on GTS. When you put it on a scale, it's obvious which is worse.
Putting caterpies on wondertrade annoys me slightly because it discourages people from putting neat stuff up (though I guess most of us who do that do so with full knowledge that we'll likely get a lot of junk in return and don't really care (in my case, I get free pc space)), but it's not nearly as bad as deliberately deceiving people, which is what you're doing.

There are no false-promises of perfect IV Pokemon on Wonder Trade. People that actually do put up good stuff on Wonder Trade know that 9/10 times they're getting something mediocre back.
And you can just wonder trade a Caterpie away or just release it or whatever. Asking for rare pokemon and lying to get it is messed up. Like what if he worked hard to breed a 5iv Chimchar expecting a 6iv Riolu? You basically cheated someone out of a Pokemon which is just not cool man. People lie on it and ask for level nine legendaries which just really ruins a feature that could be really cool. Most people do give out bad Pokemon on Wonder Trade but you can't really expect to get a bunch of cool stuff but there are nice people who do give out good Pokemon. But on the GTS, you're looking for a specific pokemon and you're trading away a Pokemon that is possibly rare for it so you should expect the Pokemon you asked for once you get the trade rather than being cheated.

Other people also being awful doesn't make it even remotely okay for you to be awful too. And no, as we've explained you actively deceived people, that's a tonne worse. I also don't know what you're on about with caterpies - I've never put anything other than competitive 3IV+ well-natured pokemon on Wondertrade, boxes and boxes of the things. I breed 5IV pokemon for friends because I CAN, and wondertrade off the spares. Sorry kid, you're just awful.
Honestly, I hope no one in this thread helps you with anything from now on, seeing as you obviously need to learn a lesson about morality you somehow haven't learnt through the usual channels.

I played it for 4 days straight, then that's all I played. It's not that hard.
I finally broke down and bought X, since the kids got X & Y over the holidays. Can't wait to dig in and see what's new. I played a bit of Black, but really haven't played since Red/Blue and Gold/Silver.
It's a good pokemon game, has a really cool bit in the post game that I absolutely adored though there could be more postgame content IMO. I'm sure you'll enjoy it

You don't seem to understand the difference between Wonder Trade and GTS. Wonder Trade is completely random and you're giving away whatever you want for another random Pokemon. But the GTS is much different as you pick what you want and lying to get what you want is a low move dude. And if you think the GTS sucks, than why would you do the thing that makes it suck? Just because other people do it, it doesn't make justifiable for you to do it. There have been plenty of criminals and what not in this world and would it be okay to do what they did just because you're not the only guy? Of course not. It's not nearly the same thing and you did do something different from the rest of us; you scammed for Pokemon. I'm sorry, but you've lost any respect I could have had for you.

playing it for half a day can get you through most of the game, and once you beat the game you get people like me who can get a pokemon or 2 to level 50 in a single game. its not all that hard, the pokemon games never have been. players that really like the game can beat this ones main story in 3-6 days.
